Worry
As James and Athanasia's relationship grew stronger, they faced a new challenge. Athanasia lived in the muggle world, and James was a wizard attending Hogwarts. They had to find a way to bridge the gap between their two worlds.
At first, it was difficult. James wanted to show Athanasia his world, but he couldn't bring her to Hogwarts. He was worried that it would be too dangerous for her, and he didn't want to put her in harm's way.
Instead, they started exploring the muggle world together. James was amazed at how much he didn't know about the world outside of the wizarding community. He had always taken magic for granted, but now he saw the world in a new light.
Athanasia was patient with him, explaining the different technologies and customs that he didn't understand. She showed him how to use a smartphone and how to navigate the internet. James was fascinated by the possibilities that technology offered.
In turn, James showed Athanasia some of the wizarding world's wonders. He took her to Diagon Alley, and she was amazed by the magical shops and wares. He introduced her to Quidditch, and they would spend afternoons flying around the countryside.
But the biggest challenge was magic. Athanasia had always known that she was different, but she had never been able to explain it. When she was a child, strange things would happen around her, and she couldn't understand why. But then, she discovered the wizarding world and realized that she was a witch.
However, she had never been to Hogwarts or any other wizarding school. She had never used a wand or been taught the proper way to use magic. Instead, she had learned from books and online resources.
James was amazed by her abilities. Even without a wand, Athanasia was able to perform complex spells and charms. She could even conjure a Patronus, something that many fully-trained wizards struggled to do.
But at the same time, James was worried about her. He didn't want her to get hurt or be in danger. He tried to teach her the proper way to use magic, but he knew that he was limited by the fact that they weren't at Hogwarts.
One day, James had an idea. He remembered that his father had a collection of old textbooks from when he was at Hogwarts. Maybe there was something in those books that could help Athanasia.
He went to his father's study and started searching through the dusty old books. He finally found what he was looking for: a book on the basics of magic. It was a beginner's guide, but it was exactly what Athanasia needed.
James took the book to Athanasia, and she was overjoyed. She devoured the book, reading it cover to cover. She started practicing the spells and charms, and James was impressed by her progress.
As Athanasia's knowledge of magic grew, so did her confidence. She started to feel more at home in the wizarding world, and she even started to consider attending Hogwarts. James was thrilled at the idea of Athanasia joining him at Hogwarts, but he knew that it was ultimately her decision.
In the end, Athanasia decided to not apply to Hogwarts. James stood with that decision so she would be out of danger. He was determined to keep her safe.
