Attacked

Athanasia woke up in a dark room, her head pounding and her body aching all over. She tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through her chest, and she gasped in pain. She looked around, and the room seemed unfamiliar to her. She tried to remember what had happened, but everything was a blur.

Suddenly, the door opened, and a figure entered the room. It was a man, tall and muscular, with a kind face. He had a wand in his hand, and Athanasia couldn't help but feel a little scared.

"Who are you?" she asked, her voice weak.

"It's okay, Athanasia," the man said. "My name is Fleamont Potter. I'm James's father. I found you outside, and I brought you here."

Athanasia remembered now. She had been attacked by Death Eaters in the middle of the night. They had come out of nowhere, and she had been too weak to defend herself. She had thought that she was going to die, but then Fleamont had found her.

"How long have I been here?" she asked, trying to sit up again.

"About a day," Fleamont replied. "You were hurt pretty badly. You need to rest and recover."

Athanasia nodded, feeling grateful for Fleamont's kindness. She knew that she was lucky to be alive. She remembered James and wondered if he knew what had happened to her.

"Fleamont, I need to talk to James," she said, her voice urgent.

"I'm afraid that's not possible right now," Fleamont said, looking worried. "He's at Hogwarts, and I don't want to worry about him. I'll send him a message as soon as I can, but for now, you need to rest."

Athanasia nodded, feeling disappointed but understanding Fleamont's concern for his son. She lay back down and closed her eyes, hoping that she would be able to recover soon.

Fleamont watched Athanasia as she slept, feeling guilty for not being able to protect her. He had found her outside the manor, bleeding and unconscious, and he had rushed her to the house. He had used his wand to heal her wounds, but she was still weak.

He knew that James would be devastated when he found out what had happened to Athanasia. He had always been protective of her, and he wouldn't forgive himself if anything happened to her. Fleamont decided that he needed to bring James home as soon as possible.

He went to his study and started to prepare the floo network. He needed to contact Hogwarts and bring James back to the manor. He knew that James would be worried about Athanasia, and he needed to be here with her.

After a few minutes, he managed to contact the Hogwarts Headmaster and explained the situation. The Headmaster agreed to send James back to the manor, and within minutes, Fleamont heard the whooshing sound of someone arriving through the floo network.

"Father, what's going on?" James said, looking worried.

"It's Athanasia," Fleamont said, his voice serious. "She was attacked by Death Eaters, and she's here at the manor. She's hurt badly, and I need your help to take care of her."

James looked shocked, and for a moment, he didn't know what to say. He had always been worried about Athanasia's safety, and now his worst fears had come true.

"I need to see her," he said, his voice determined.

Fleamont nodded and led James to Athanasia's room. She was still sleeping, but her breathing was slow and steady. James sat down beside her, taking her hand in his.

"Is she going to be okay?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"We're doing everything we can," Fleamont replied, trying to sound reassuring. "She needs to rest and recover, and then we'll see how she's doing."

James nodded, his eyes never leaving Athanasia's face. He had always cared for her deeply, and he couldn't bear the thought of losing her. He stayed by her side for the rest of the day, watching over her and praying for her to recover.

As the days passed, Athanasia slowly started to regain her strength. She was still weak, but she could sit up and talk. James stayed by her side, never leaving her alone. Fleamont and his wife Euphemia were also there, taking care of her and making sure that she was comfortable.

Athanasia was grateful for their kindness, and she knew that she owed them her life. She also knew that she had to find a way to repay them and to help in any way she could.

As she recovered, Athanasia started to think about the attack. She wondered why the Death Eaters had targeted her, and she knew that she needed to find out more. She also knew that she couldn't do it alone. She needed James's help.

One day, when they were alone in her room, Athanasia turned to James and said, "James, I need your help. I need to find out why the Death Eaters attacked me, and I need to stop them before they hurt anyone else."

James looked at Athanasia, his expression serious. "I'll do whatever it takes to help you," he said. "But we need to be careful. The Death Eaters are dangerous, and we don't want to put ourselves in danger."

Athanasia nodded, knowing that James was right. They couldn't rush into anything without a plan. "I've been thinking about it," he said. "And I think I know someone who can help us. His name is Sirius Black. He's a wizard, and he knows a lot about the Death Eaters."

Athanasia looked surprised. "Sirius Black? You mean that friend of yours that keeps sending me owl letters for cookies? He knows about those people?."

"I know," James said. "But he's also brave and resourceful. And I think he might be willing to help us. I'll send him a message and see if he's interested."

Athanasia nodded, still looking unsure. "Okay," she said. "But we need to be careful. We don't know who we can trust."

James agreed, knowing that they were taking a risk. But he also knew that they had to do something. The Death Eaters were a threat to the wizarding world, and they couldn't let them continue to cause harm.

He sent a message to Sirius, explaining what had happened and asking for his help. James didn't know if he would respond, but they hoped that he would.

Days passed, and Athanasia started to feel stronger. James continued to stay by her side, and Fleamont and Euphemia treated her like family. She felt safe and protected, but she also knew that they couldn't stay at the manor forever.

Finally, a response came from Sirius. He agreed to meet with Athanasia and James, and they set a time and place to meet.

They met in a small café in Hogsmeade, a village near Hogwarts. Sirius was there, looking a bit rough around the edges but also excited to help them.

"So, what's the plan?" he asked, looking at Athanasia and James.

"We need to find out why the Death Eaters attacked me," Athanasia said. "And we need to stop them from hurting anyone else. Do you know anything about them?"

Sirius nodded. "I know a little bit. They're a group of dark wizards and witches who follow Voldemort. They want to purify the wizarding world and get rid of all non-purebloods."

Athanasia felt a chill run down her spine. She had heard of Voldemort before, but she had never thought that she would become a target of his followers.

"We need to find out more," she said. "Do you know anyone who might have information?"

Sirius thought for a moment. "There's a group of Order of the Phoenix," he said. "They're a secret society of wizards and witches who are fighting against Voldemort and the Death Eaters. They might have some information that could help us."

Athanasia looked at James, and they both knew what they had to do. They had to join the Order of the Phoenix and fight against Voldemort and his followers. It was a dangerous mission, but they knew that they had to do it.

"We're in," James said, looking at Athanasia.

Athanasia nodded, feeling a sense of determination. They had a long road ahead of them, but they were ready to fight for what was right. They stood up, ready to face whatever came their way.
