The Heart Returns

 Bride only felt helpless twice in her long life, walking up the stairs and seeing Victor beaten to death......the second was seeing Nina's corpse floating in the lake. Both times, she lost someone she cared so deeply for, it ended the same, a horrible and painful death, her heart shattered when she released she'd be alone and unloved again.

 That same feeling attacked her now! She watched, as if time slowed down, as Bane lifted Nina higher and higher. Nina tried fighting back, clawing at Bane's grip with no results, and slowly, ever so slowly......Bride watched helplessly.......

 "Fwap!" Onomatopoeia said as he hit Bane in the back with a metal pipe!

 Bane gasped in pain as he tumbled forward, losing his grip on Nina and dropping her onto the ground as he rolled over her!

 Even if she hurt at that moment, she was surprised to see the man who tried to kill her a few hours ago had now saved her life! 

 "But....why....." Nina was really confused.....

 "Because the fool never understood sides!" Bane yelled, "The master took pity on this slow fool! He can't even speak with sentences!"

 Onomatopoeia lowered his head, possibly in shame.....but he shook his head and readied his makeshift weapon. He ran and swung the pipe......only for Bane to block the pipe and pull it from Onomatopoeia's hands and bend it like a pretzel.

 Bane dropped the now circular pipe on the ground in front of Onomatopoeia and Nina.

 "You can take him, right?" Nina asked her.....um.....new friend.

 "Wuah, wuah, wuah....." Onomatopoeia basically whined they were screwed.

 Nina had to think, fighting Bane......she's not that brave. Think! Think! Wait......are those......

 The keys! The ones they needed to get Bride out! Were......near the entrance.....they must have fell out of Onomatopoeia's pocket when Bane threw him. If Bride was free.......

 "Yeah, uh, Onomatopoeia?" The man whose name she called turned his head to her, "Okay.....kinda creepy.....can you at least distract him?"

 Onomatopoeia at least nodded his head! 

 "Ba-bumpa, bum, bum, bam!" He at least sounded confident, that gave her a plan.

 Bane simply stood with his arms crossed, waiting for his victims. Onomatopoeia charged......only to dodge Bane's strike and strike the behemoth behind his knee, causing Bane to bend at knee, then swinging a backhand that Onomatopoeia had to go flat on the ground....

 As Onomatopoeia tried to land a strike and not get mauled to death, Nina was, quietly as possible, to the keys......they were her only chance at freeing Bride and saving all of them. Nina was able to pick up the keys.....but had to hide behind a fallen cabinet so not to be seen by Bane as he tossed Onomatopoeia into the wall.....

 "You ok?" Nina knew he probably didn't, but it helps to show she at least cares.....

 "Da, Dada, da!" Onomatopoeia lifted himself up and gave her a thumbs up, only for Bane to drag him away.

 Nina figured she should hurry, and fast! She was immediately in front of Bride and struggling to find the key to her chains.

 "Why are you still here!? I told you to run!?" Bride whispered angrily!

 "You seriously didn't think I'd abandon you?" Nina responded, "And right now, if we don't free you, we're all dead!"

 "We, you mean you, me, and the Commandos.......not him too, right?" Nina knew well that Bride meant Onomatopoeia, who was still being beaten to a pulp.

 "He helped us and he's keeping Bane," she turns to see Bane slamming Onomatopoeia into nearby walls, "he's keeping him busy."

 "Didn't he try to kill you?" Bride asked, knowing full well he did.

 "Yes, and I actually beat him......and now he's helping me......for some reason...." She seriously didn't understand the guy, "Look, I'm freeing you, you beat Bane up and save him, end of discussion!"

*click*

 Bride's chains fell and she cracked her neck and knuckles.

 "If I wasn't so pissed at him trying to kill you, I'd sink my tongue down your throat right now!" Nina blushed fiercely as Bride marched towards Bride, an extra sway to her hips so Nina could enjoy the view.

 "Yo, mama's boy!" Bride yelled, gaining Bane's attention and slugging the Brute in the jaw and sending him flying into a wall. She then looks down at the beaten and bloodied Onomatopoeia, "Be lucky my girlfriend is nice to everyone."

 As Bride walks over to Bane, Nina helps Onomatopoeia up and hide behind a big, wooden table.

 Bane soon busted out of the rubble he was buried in. 

 "Finally, the Bride, I've dreamed of facing a worthy opponent!" Bane states as he activates his iconic Venom, where his veins bulged and his muscles thickened, "Now, the real fight begins!"

 "Your creepy League of Shadows lock me up and you tried to kill my girlfriend, shut the fuck up and fight." Bride responds before she and Bane charge at eachother!

-Back outside-

 Flagg was not having an easy time, they really don't call Lady Shiva the greatest martial artist for nothing. Luckily, Flagg's basic training as both a soldier and special forces, as well as his thousands of battlefields and spec ops mission allowed him to keep up.

 "I'll admit, for an old man whose not the Master, your doing well." Shiva mocks Flagg.

 Jeez, this woman was full of herself.....and not without reason. This bitch hits like a damn tank! What is with these martial artists and fighting like metahumans!? 

 Flagg looked around, hoping to find  something to help him beat this woman.

.......Flagg spotted something......one of G.I.'s severed rifle arms, that could definitely help.

-Phosphorus-

 Ok......Shade was definitely better than last time.....especially since he had a Cyborg snake man to help. 

 "Uuuugh....." Phosphorus was starting to get pissed off.......screw it, these guys are fucking dead!

 Phosphorus burned through and liquefy the stone around him and actually forced Copperhead to back away......and Shade's shadows were burning away.

-Back with Ra's-

 An interesting event just happened.......Onomatopoeia became a turncoat and Bride was free. These Commandos were actually becoming interesting.

 However, Shiva defeated Grundy and the machine and was now in the process of fighting Flagg. 

 The one to truly worry about was the flaming skeleton, and through Ra's's contacts have told him that the skeleton used to be an upcoming crime lord until the Detective defeated it. As soon as Shade used the shadows ro rebuild his head and Copperhead started helping him, the skeleton's flames increased the heat and intensity. 

 Oh well......the new world didn't need criminals to wonder around the forests.

 -Back with Bride-

 Bane must have improved his formula, he was stronger than he usually is. Still wasn't going to help him win, though.......Bride was pissed and was ready to kick some ass! 

 Sadly.......never fight while in a blind rage. Sure, it made her more aggressive.....but a clear headed fighter would always win......which Bane was far more than Bride right now.

 Bride soon found herself thrown across the room, right into a power panel. The shocks always hurt......

 "Quite a disappointment, Bride......I was hoping for a good fight to the death!" Bane lectured as he walked slowly towards an injured Bride.

 She did notice the main wire for the power panel was dangling near her.......she could electricut herself and power up! But.......it seriously hurt......

 "Since it is part of my mission, after I finish you, the traitor and the fish woman shall be easy to pick off." Bane mocked as he neared Bride......

.......screw the pain, no one threatens Nina!

 Bride stuck the wire into her neck and massive volts of electricity surged through her body! Bane wasn't expecting her to do that! Or the fact that Bride was on him in less than a second and started pummeling Bane.

 Nina was watching everything, and she admits, she was extremely worried about Bride but now........she never thought Bride could get hotter. She was beating the living shit out of one of Batman's most dangerous foes and was throttling him!

 -G.I.Robot-

 G.I. really wanted to help, kill more people similar to Nazi's......but his body was too damaged to use.......

 At least Grundy was in front of him to talk to.

 "G.I.Robot is disappointed he can't kill anymore people similar to Nazi's. Are you also disappointed in not killing people similar to Nazi's, friend Grundy?"

 "Grundy not feel good or move......" Grundy whined, he did have a right to whine. The storm kept the team from contacting anyone....wait....

 "Great news, friend Grundy! The storm has cleared!"

 "Grundy likes the sun, but Grundy can't move to see sun....."

 "Thanks to the clearing of the storm, friend Grundy, G.I.Robot can contact our comrades!"

"Hooray......" Grundy tried to be positive, but he couldn't move. An antenna came out of G.I.Robot's head and started beeping.

 "G.I.Robot to HQ, G.I.Robot to ARGUS!" G.I.Robot announced, trying to contact someone.

 "G.I.Robot,  this is Ultra Humanite. I've received your signal and will be at your location in milliseconds!"

 "G.I.Robot is confused, how will you arrive here so fast, Nepal and America are extremely far?"

 "I calculated something would happen, so I readied a jet I built myself and took flight with Khalis and a new recruit."

 "Splendid news, and did friend Humanite remember G.I.Robot's Tank Mode?"

 "Of course, your Grunt Mode isn't really useful in more intense battles."

 "A definite agreement! See you, friend Humanite, we all could use help!"

-Ultra Humanite-

 Humanite hummed to himself as he flew the jet he's been working on for a few months. The jet wasn't finished.......but it was good enough for flight. He was unable to equip weapons on it, in all technicality, this was a whole flight test.

 He set his jet on autopilot and walked into the cargo bay where the rest of the reinforcements were.

 Khalis was sitting on a crate, knitting what looks like a sweater. Across from the old mummy who was actually as ancient as Khalis himself, and one of the most iconic monsters in mythology,  Medusa the Gorgon.

 ARGUS captured her and locked her away, though the gods of Olympus decided to let Medusa out on parole, Waller didn't trust her and Waller had ordered the Gorgon to be incarcerated.

 She was indeed as the legends describe, her famous snake-hair, green skin, and, though he has never seen them due to her constantly wearing sunglasses, Humanite could guess they were yellow, and possibly glowing. Despite how she can turn people to stone with her eyes, and her monstrous appearance, she was stunningly beautiful. 

 She had an hourglass figure, long, smooth yet scaly legs, succulent breasts, a smooth neck, elegant hands, and her lips reminded Humanite of red wine.

 Since her incarceration, Medusa kept to herself, as most prisoners have done, and just focused on herself, somehow smuggling beauty products in. 

  Waller tested her by seeing her other skills, which she actually showed multiple. Humanite definitely saw many benefits........

 Which would soon as they neared the drop point.

 "My dear, it's time to prepare." Humanite states, which Medusa simply shrugs and goes to change, which he knew was a white, sleeveless bodysuit.

-Courtyard-

 Flagg was getting his ass kicked.......and it was super embarrassing. Shiva was just toying with him now, she didn't even look winded and he was barely able to catch his breath.

 G.I.Robot is in pieces and Grundy was still paralyzed......and Flagg had no idea where everyone else was! Why can't this team ever stay together!?

 He does remember seeing G.I. sprout out an antenna, hopefully he was able to contact reinforcements.......fuck, that'll take hours. Hopefully he could try holding out......who was he kidding, this lady will finish him with something out of a fighting game.

 Shiva smirked with sinister intent.......until she suddenly dodged a bullet that barely grazed her!

 "What the fu......" Flagg was confused.......reinforcements are on standby, but their location would've taken hours to find and much longer to get into position to attack......wait, "Did you follow us!?"

"Very much so, general," Humanite's voice answered, "Since the team has constant habits of running into trouble, I followed close behind. Khalis is here and so is our new recruit."

 "New recruit? Waller didn't clear this with me!" Flagg wasn't having any of Waller's bullshit!

 "You've been gone since yesterday and Waller is introducing her to you today." Humanite responded.

 Flagg shrugged, at least he gets last word. He watches as someone, most likely the newbie, jump off the balcony and lands between Shiva and Flagg.

 Flagg never really got cozy with any of inmates until after they join the team........but he could tell, this one would useful.

 "Medusa!?" Flagg yelled

 "Medusa?" Shiva asked with interest as the woman, suspected as Medusa, smirked and threw her sniper rifle, the barrel still smoking, onto the ground.

 "Medusa!" THE Medusa confirmed as she cracked her neck.
