ZS, Bitter Reunions and Undead War
Nina was never as physically as fit as her teammates! Sure, Flagg gave her an instructional DVD set for physical fitness. She was in better shape now!
.....but not enough for this! Her lungs were burning and her legs actually burned! She was just barely keeping up with G.I., and he was trying to match her speed so she wouldn't feel alone and panic.
"I WON'T LET YOU TAKE HER FROM ME!!!" Erik screamed as he charged through the forest, uprooting trees and smashing boulders as he ran!
How does he have enough energy to sprint with the mass of his size and scream at the top of his lungs at the same time! She was struggling to make even pace with a damaged android!
G.I. kept aiming his remaining arm, hoping the same trick will work twice! It didn't, but G.I. knew nothing else.
*click**click*
"G.I.Robot must apologize to friend Nina, since G.I. is now out of ammunition!"
"What!?" Nina usually wasn't one to be negative.....but they looked pretty fucked right now! Neither of them were capable of outrunning this monster, and G.I.'s only means of fighting him are used up......yeah, not looking good.
......especially since Erik was inches from tearing her to pieces!
*KABOOM!*
Erik was thrown back from a massive explosive that propelled Nina and G.I. forward.
"Light 'em up!" Flagg yelled, the soldiers firing everything they had, including Bride who just readied the grenade launcher she just fired.
"You couldn't have found a nice nuke to use?" Phophserus asked jokingly.
"If I did, it would've killed Nina." Bride answered in a deadpan way, "Now, move your nonexistent ass, Brook!"
As she took off, Phosphorus just stood, confused by her statement.
"I really need to try out anime...." Ever since Flagg blackmailed Waller, Nina made mostly simple requests, clothes, bed, better food, and just some dvds and movies to pass the time better. Nina convinced Bride to have a, what was it called.....'One Piece Marathon'....
Nina fell asleep halfway threw and Bride paused their marathon. Phophserus needs to get in on that anime as well.
Bride fired more grenades into Erik as he tried to stand.
"My love, why do you insists on testing our love with these games!" Erik's words triggered Bride's berserk button. She immediately drew her pistols and fired the heavy rounds into Erik.
The grenades and her bullets were far more effective than the bullets G.I.Robot's bullets.
Soon, her barrage gained added advantage as Grundy punched Erik, sending the behemoth to the ground.
"Grundy hurt you good!" Grundy yelled as he kept up his pummeling of Erik. The Bride decided to save her ammunition and look for Nina. She searched till she found her precious Angelfish on the ground.
"Fuck....Nina, Nina are you alright?" Bride asked as she helped Nina to a sitting position.
"Yeah.....I'm ok....where's G.I.?" Bride couldn't help but give a small smile, Nina is just that good a soul.
"Worry not, friends Nina and Bride, G.I.Robot is still functional!" They both look down.....and see just his head.
"You can't be fucking serious!? Again with losing your body!?" This has become a usual occurrence for the team, which is why they bring a spare body.
"G.I.Robot fought against Erik and G.I. has been badly damaged. More so after that explosion." G.I. explains, Bride simply shrugs and picks up G.I.'s head before tossing it to the nearest trooper to catch.
"Heads up!"
"Bride!!" Nina loved Bride, but sometimes her brash and rude behavior needs help.
"What.......we brought his spare body, Tank mode." Bride explained, unfazed by how she just treated their comrade. Flagg, firing his rifle at Erik every time the monster and Grundy would separate, reached Bride and Nina.
"Ok, before Bride's constant headache came, what all did you find?" Flagg's mindset was that of a soldier, so the mission's success was imperative.
Nina handed her camera, thankfully unsmashed, to Flagg.
"I'm not sure what culture it comes from, but the people of that culture used the alter to sacrifice who they could to some red skinned, four eyed being......" As Nina explained, Flagg skimmed through the pictures, reinforcing the possibility of destroying the alter because of it's potential to cause problems....."We're also too late, Brother Night's undead army is already rising!"
"They're what!?" Flagg yelled, before feeling the ground rumble.
Everyone felt it, including Erik. All of them felt the tremors intensify, and soon had to watch their footing as the ground started cracking open.
Several skeletal hands reached out of the cracks and out pulled skeletal warriors, animals, and even eldritch looking skeletons. Hovering above the undead army, standing on nothing but air, is Brother Night himself.
"Well, well, just what my new army needed.....test dummies. Much appreciated, mates." Night looks over the army before him....and sees some familiar faces, "Well Bob's me uncle, is that you, Bride? Seems like forever since we last met!"
"Like how you wanted to use my body like an improvised gate into the bloody Underworld! Ya fucker!" Bride yelled as she held Nina protectively while flipping Night her middle finger.
"Night!!" Erik yelled, getting the dark sorcerer's attention, "We had a deal! You told me my Bride would be waiting for me here! You never mentioned these obstacles!"
"Well, what do you expect, mate? I don't think she's really into ya anyway!" Night basically mocked Erik for his foolishness.
"Wait, so, Night was expecting us?" That kinda hurt Nina's pride.....she thought she was being useful this time around.....
Sighs "The fucking stalker has saying on us and feeding Night information!" Bride now had more reasons to shoot Erik.....not sure she really needs more.
"Yes, now, my dear, I'm staying up here where it's safe and watch as my army rips you to-"
*BANG*
Night was interrupted when a haul of bullets almost hit him. Everyone turned to see G.I.Robot, in Tank Mode!
"G.I.Robot, reporting for duty to send these similar to Nazi's back to Hell!" His arm was already transformed into a gatling gun, his other arm transformed into a cannon blaster.
Flagg looked around the area.....and he definitely knows they're all in for a massive shitstorm.
