ZS part 3, The Cave of Darkness
Nina turned off her radio on her collar, the only thing she can afford to get wet. She was glad to talk to Bride......it helped calm her down.
This cave.....this place.....felt heavy, almost evil....
From what she could make out on the writings on the wall, this may have been Slavic....maybe Germanic....she couldn't understand any of it yet, not enough light and she couldn't risk giving herself away with a light.
Instead, she brought out her waterproof camera.....and checking to see if the flash was off. She took several pictures before she felt her foot touch something.
She looked down to see.....millions of bones under her feet, all animal, human.....and other things. Nina had to slap her hands over her mouth to prevent herself from screaming.
Flagg was right....this was a place of sacrifice, Nina turned back to one of the cave paintings and saw......she's not sure what she saw.....the only painting that made sense made her heart stop.
The painting had a picture of a massive figure with four eyes, horns, and red skin. Nina at first thought it was Satan the Devil, but being before her made her believe this wasn't the devil.....but possibly something worse.
A curious thing......the stick figures representing people had a mark on their bodies, a jagged letter s.
Before Nina could investigate further....she heard what sounded like a choir of demons.....she slowly and quietly made her way over and peeked her head, seeing something she wished she didn't wish to see.
Brother Night.....standing upon a massive sacrificial alter, chanting and muttering what sounds to Nina like a thousand of demon chanting a dark choir. A dark, and ominous mist came out the alter.....encasing the bones and causing them to levitate and.....reassemble!
Yep, Nina seen enough! She tries to keep quiet and get out, avoiding stepping on any of the bones that still caused her skin to crawl.
She finally dived back into the canals, and swam faster than she's ever swam before in her life. When she busted out of the water outside the caves, she ran to her wetsuit.
"G.I.! We need to hur-"
Nina gasped when she looked up.....the forest looks like a war happen! Craters in the ground, trees either ripped apart or riddled with bullet holes, and.....G.I.'s arm!
"Oh God no......huh?" Nina thought she heard distant gunfire, G.I. might still be alive!
Nina finished zipping up her wetsuit and G.I.'s arm, sprinting to her friend.
-Just ahead of Nina, deeper in the forest-
"Die! You windup toy!" Erick, the Frankenstein's monster, yelled as he swung his fist, only for the now one-armed G.I.Robot to duck under the swing and fire his remaining gun-arm, which now holsters four machine gun turrets. Sadly, all the bullets did was bounce off the monster's skin.
"You may or may not be a Nazi or anything similar to a Nazi, you threaten G.I.'s friend Nina, and G.I. will not allow harm to come to G.I.'s friend Nina, so G.I. will have to treat you like a Nazi and kill you!" G.I. exclaimed as he dodges all of Erik's swings and strikes. He wishes he had his Tank mode, Flagg assured him that Tank mode had strength to tangle with Erik. His Grunt mode was only good for human-sized targets affected by bullets.
"So you too are keeping my love from me!!" Erik yells as his tries to pummel the metal doll....."Uuugh! Keep still so I can kill you!"
"G.I. must deny your request, for if G.I. allows you to scrap and damage G.I.! It would be risky to protecting friend Nina if G.I. isn't in tack!"
"Enough! Why do you not just silence your tongue, so annoying!" Erik whined, this automaton was lasting longer than he was expecting this old relic, but he was so.....jumpy, and hoppy, and......"Uuugh, STUPID!"
Nina was shocked to see all this happening before her, G.I.Robot was hopping around with only one gun-arm avoiding Erik's strikes and swings.
He wasn't this agile at Polikastan, guess A.R.G.U.S. took Flagg's blackmailing seriously. She had to think of something to make in the prison's arts and crafts department or something for his birthday!
G.I. noticed friend Nina, hiding behind a tree. Excellent! G.I. can now finish this faster and both G.I. and friend Nina can escape!
G.I. used his new targeting system to aim right where Flagg instructed.......Erik's eyes! It was unknown if that be permanent or Erik would regenerate.....but it was the only option G.I. had! He readied his rifle, took aim......
BANG!!
"Aaaaaaah!" Erik screamed in agony as he holds his face, where the blood flowed from his eyes.
G.I.Robot turned his arm back to normal and ran over to his friend Nina!
"Friend Nina, G.I.Robot has crippled the Bride's stalker who still thinks she loves him but does not, now G.I.Robot shall reunite with you and we shall regroup with the others, lead by the Commander Officer Richard Bill Flagg Senior, and assisted by friend Nina's girlfriend and G.I.'s friend!" Nina kept trying to signal for G.I. to stop talking.....then smacked her face when he finished.

"WHAT!!!??? MY BRIDE! NOT YOURS!" Erik's scream was so loud, the birds fled, along with all the other animals, and even the rest of the Commandos heard it.....the Bride's eyes widening in panic!
"What the fuck was that!? An EMP!?" Phophserus yelled as he covered the parts where his ears would be, "Weasel, stop howling!"
For some reason, Weasel started howling, annoying Phophserus even more.
"No....no, fuck, fuck, shit, fuck!" Bride yelled as she went back to try the radio, "Nina! Nina, get out of there!"
"Everyone! Load up and lock up, we got comrades to regroup with!" Flagg yelled, all soldiers reloading their ammunition, "Grundy! Pick that......big shiny ball! G.I.'s gonna need it!"
Grundy found the thing Flagg said, big shiny ball. Grundy lifted the massive orb that dwarfed even his massive frame like weighed nothing!
"We'll meet you and G.I. halfway, just run!" Bride screamed as she threw the radio and grabbed whatever big gun she could, and sprinted to where Nina and G.I. headed before.
