A very very bad thing, or is it?
“Morning,” Pandora said to Lily who was just waking up.
Lily opened her eyes and smiled as the first rays of the sun hit her face, “Morning. What time is it?”
Pandora looked at the alarm clock to the right of her, “6:30am.”
Lily smiled and Pandora looked slightly confused. Lily turned to lie on her back and look up at the ceiling. “That's the longest time I’ve slept consecutively since James passed. And it's the first time I haven’t had a nightmare since it happened.”
“That's amazing.” Pandora kissed the top of her head, “So are you still in Godric's Hollow?”
“No,” Lily started, “Actually I moved in with Sirius and Remus.”
“Oh really!” Pandora asked, “That's really great.”
Lily got out of bed and began to put her clothes on, “Sorry I really have to go. I’ve got Harry, you know.”
Pandora smiled sadly, “Oh yeah I understand. I’ve got a little one. Luna. She’ll turn 1 in February. I would be in the same rush you are in but Xenophilius has her today.”
“Oh goodness, thats amazing.” Lily squealed, “I would love to meet her sometime.”
Pandora nodded, “Yeah, one day.”
A great idea struck Lily, “Do you have any plans for Christmas?”
Pandora was about to reply but then stopped herself. Typically she spent her Christmases with Barty, Evan and Regulus but this year was different since it was their first Christmas after the war. “No, I haven’t got any plans.”
“What if you and Luna spend Christmas and New Years with us? Remus and Sirius wouldn’t mind the company.” Lily suggested.
“I would love that. Thank you for the invitation.” Pandora smiled.
“Okay I think I really need to go now. Bye.” Lily said and she finished putting on her shoes.
“Bye.” Pandora echoed. With that Lily vanished, and Pandora sighed. She flopped back down on the bed. Of all the things she thought she was going to do last night, shagging her ex girlfriend from school was not one of them. But, she felt weird about it. Not that she regretted it, but it felt right which was wrong in so many ways. First off, she thought that she wasn’t into women, second, she had a baby and what would people think of them and third, Lily was a widow and her husband died two months ago.
Pandora and Lily had broken up because Pandora was under the impression that she was straight (She was wrong; turns out her straightness was internalised homophobia :D). But now all Pandora could like about was her high school love. She sighed, hoping that Lily felt the same.
Once Lily returned home She opened the of the house, turning and pushing the door slowly hoping that it wouldn’t make the loud creaking noise it typically does. Despite how hard Lily tried she made what seemed like a lot of noise. She crept into the kitchen and began to pour herself a glass of water. SHe sat down and put her head in her hands.
“Welcome home.” Sirius said, holding his coffee in his hand.
“Holy shit!” Lily jumped, “How did I not see you, you scared the crap out of me.”
“No note! Just gone! What happened? Spill.” Sirius said.
“Thats for me to know and you to not.” Lily smirked.
Sirius groaned, “Come on Lils! Please!”
“No,” Lily got up, “Because I don’t need you spilling my secrets to the whole wizarding world!”
“I am offended.” Sirius gasped, “I will not tell a soul!”
“Wheres Harry?” Lily asked, “And why are you up, Mr. Gets up at lunchtime?”
“Well, incase you forgot after your childless night. You son wakes up early. Started fucking crying like a fucking baby.” Sirius pouted.
“Oh my goodness!” Lily cried, “It’s almost as if he is an actual baby!” Lily covered her mouth and had a mocking shocked look on her face.
“Shut up.” Sirius rolled his eyes, but slightly happy seeing Lily looking more like Lily again even though she was being mean, “He’s with Moony in our bedroom.”
“Ok, thank you.” Lily began to walk up the stairs. She opened the door to find Remus holding Harry in his arms running around the room saying, “It’s the one! It's the only! HARRY JAMES POTTER!” He then stopped running and began to fake toss Harry into the air. Harry giggled. Lily leaned against the doorway waiting for Remus to notice her. Eventually Harry noticed her and started shouting, “Mama! Mama! Mama!”
Remus laughed, “No Harry. I’m not Mama. I’m Moony. Can you say Moony!”
“Moony! Mama! Mama!” Harry said back. This time Lily replied, “Hi baby! Did you have fun with Uncle Moony and Uncle Padfoot!”
Remus handed Harry off to her. “Hey long time no see. What happened last night. I assumed you were going to come back late but not next morning kind of late.”
Lily sat down, “Well about that.”
Remus sat down, “Oh my. What happened?”
“I shagged my ex.” Lily said, covering her face in embarrassment.
“What? Who?” Remus asked, “I thought you only dated James. Well technically we “dated” for like a month when I wanted to get back at Sirius for the prank-”
“Pandora!” Lily cut him off.
Remus’ jaw dropped, “ As in Pandora Rosier? As in Evan’s twin sister Pandora?”
Lily nodded. Remus smiled, “That's cool.”
Lily looked down and took a deep breath before she looked back up at Remus, “Can I tell you something absolutely awful? Like it’s terrible, so, so bad? It is truly-”
“Do you still have feelings for her? Pandora?” Remus asked, assuming that that is what she was leading up to.
Lily looked between Harry and then Remus, then Harry again before looking back up at Remus, “Yes,”
