[Rayne Ames x Reader] Proposal hcs
When he would propose:
- Rayne Ames would ask you out on a dinner date that special day.
- He would act very casual, almost calm when he picked you up at your house.
- But this man would be all dressed up.
- Wearing his nicest clothes, formal but not extravagant in any way since he wasn't the type to show off.
- As he handed you a bouquet of roses, you complimented his hair.
- His heart beat a little faster knowing that you liked the look that he spent hours on, but you couldn't tell because Rayne's expression has always been stoic.
Where he would propose:
- To you, this dinner date was just another "normal" date like the ones you two always had. After dessert, Rayne would take you to a private park from where you could see the view of the whole city.
- The park was reserved for Easton students only, therefore no one could interrupt your date. Under the moonlight, you took a walk hand in hand with your man.
How he would propose:
- Although he wouldn't show that he was nervous, don't let his serious face fool you.
- Rayne managed to look calm just moments before you turned around.
- You were just enjoying the view of people walking back and forth unsuspectingly.
- Your boyfriend was standing right behind you, hand behind his back.
- "Babe." You turned around and called him, only to see that he was right there the whole time. "Oh, I was gonna say that we should go to the other coffee shop sometimes..."
- And before you could even finish your sentence, this man got down on one leg.
- You gasped as he would pull out a small velvet box. "No way..."
- Rayne Ames would look into your eyes, his two-toned hair moving with the wind brushing your face. Time seemed to stop when you heard the words leaving his lips.
...
"Will you marry me, [Name]?"
...
- He wouldn't even need a proposal speech, words don't mean anything when you two have known each other for so long.
- You were Rayne's true love.
How he reacted when you say "yes":
- Your response made him more happy than anything. It had put a rarely seen smile on his face.
- Kisses and hugs are optional, depending on whatever you feel like doing.
(Honestly, I can imagine this man pulling you into his arms, placing his hand on your chin and kissing you passionately, but will constantly check if you're comfortable or not. Rayne is a big softie when it comes to loving you.)
