Chapter 5

"Severus..."
Severus woke up slightly after he felt someone call his name. He whipped his sleepy eyes before he looked over at the person who was calling his name.
"Rusty..?" He mumbled out as he saw everyone else were in there school robes already. He blushed as he was the only one that wasn't changed yet.
Severus looked back at Rusty who was smiling, "let's get you changed!" he smiled down at Severus. He didn't wait for an answer as he grabbed severus's hand and school robes as he walked Severus to get changed.
"here" Rusty said, handing Severus his robes "get dressed quickly!" he nodded as he looked at Rusty.
After Severus was changed, he and Rusty walked back into there capartment, the marauders and Lily we're all having a conversation, Severus waved at lily, who in turn ignored him as she continued to talk to James quietly.
Rusty glared at her, he held onto Severus's hand as they both sat down by Remus again, who seemed too be the only nice one to them.
"sorry about them" Remus mutter towards Severus, "they can be a bit much.." he added as the three heard the. laugh loudly.
Rusty stared at them annoyed as he continued to hold onto Severus's hand. "it's okay! I don't mind at all!" Severus smiled up at Remus. He blushed slightly at Severus's smile, Rusty saw and glared at him.
Lily, James, Peter and Sirius all stopped talking once the train stopped, Severus smiled over at Rusty who smiled back at Severus.
"Let's go guys!" Sirius Yelled as he smiled at everyone, beside Severus. Rusty noticed that as everyone else didn't, They all got off the train as Rusty kept glaring at Sirius. He still held onto Severus's hand so he wouldn't lose him in the crowd of other first years.
They saw a giant man calling over all the first years, They walked towards him as They stared in awe.
"Four too a boat!" The giant man yelled out. Severus frowned when he saw lily leave them for James, Sirius and Peter. Remus also frowned when he saw his friends leave him by himself.
"Wanna join us?" Rusty smiled at Remus, he grabbed onto his hand as he led Remus and Severus to an empty boat, another person joined them. Her name was RoseMary, she had tan skin with hazel eyes and blonde hair.
"Hello!" she smiled out at the group, Severus waved over at her as he smiled. Remus also waved while Rusty just nodded his head at her. They reached the castle not long after they all introduced themselves to eachother.
A women who introduced herself as Professor could not remember her name, as Rusty called her. She started talking about the Hogwarts house and stuff Rusty could not care about too listen as he held onto Severus's hand.
The lady soon opened the doors to the great hall, they all piled in and all the older kids stared at them. The women stood beside as school that had an old, beaten up hat. They hat started singing a song as Rusty huffed out annoyed, he looked down at Severus who pushed up against him, scared.
When the hat stopped singing, the professor started calling up people's names. All of the marauders and Lily got sorted into Griffyndoor. Until it was time for Remus.
"Remus Lupin!" the professors called out, Severus, Rusty and RoseMary watched him walk up, the Great Hall went silent as everyone waited for the hats decision.
"SLYTHERIN!" The marauders and Lily stared at him in shock, as Severus, Rusty and RoseMary clapped for him.
"Severus Snape!"
Severus looked at Rusty nervous. he nodded down at Severus as a sign of encouragement.
Severus Slowly walked over to the stool, muttering random stuff to help encourage himself.
As the hat was placed on his head, Rusty, Remus and RoseMary waited for the hats answer.
"SLYTHERIN!" Severus smiled, Rusty and RoseMary cherred for him as Remus hugged him once he made it to the Slytherin table.
"RoseMary Fisher!"
Rusty smiled at her, she smiled back as she walked over to the stool. She sat down as she also waited for her house to be assigned to.
"RAVENCLAW!" she smiled as she walked over to the ravenclaw table, Rusty was now the last one to be sorted.
He walked over too the stools as he sat down, the hat started talking in his head, Rusty ignored him as he was too focussed on all of the eyes on him as his eyes teared up slightly.
"HUFFLEPUFF!" He didn't wait a second before he walked over to the hufflepuff table fast. His eyes tearing up as his breath quickened.

The next day Severus and Remus walked too the great hall as they chatted and laughed together. They could feel glares on there backs, they ignored them as the walked to the Slytherin table. They ate all kinds of different types of food as the kept chatting.
Rusty ate in silence, ignoring as other Hufflepuffs tried to talk to him. When he was done eating he sat in his seat quietly.
RoseMary was also eating, but she was also talking to other Ravenclaws who wanted to talk to her. She smiled and giggled as she joked with them.
After breakfast was done, The group of friends all met up in the halls.
"What class do you guys have first?" Remus asked looking at them "Me and Sev have potions first!"
RoseMary smiled at that "Same!" She said as they all looked over at Rusty waiting for his answer, he nodded as he held his thumb up with a smile. They little group cheered at that as they all made there way to the potions class.
