Redeemers
Kotal Kahn was sitting on his chair in the newly constructed Outworld Council. Even though he was titled a ‘Kahn’, Kotal disliked the former hierarchy system Shao Kahn had installed on Outworld to corrupt it. The new Kahn was grateful Earthrealm’s champion had prevailed against Shao Kahn, and swore to cleanse Outworld of Shao Kahn’s corruption. Today, he was discussing with the Edenians to separate the realm from Outworld, as it was supposed to be until Shao Kahn.
“We found the orb which is used to merge our realms. However, we don’t know how to destroy it”, Rain told Kotal.
“We must find books about their origins. Attempting its destruction without proper knowledge may result in a catastrophe for both Outworld and Edenia”, Kotal commented.
“Indeed. Then we must decide which one of our realms should guard the relic”, Sindel suggested.
“I fear neither Outworld nor Edenia can defend it enough. Shang Tsung is still on loose, and we cannot risk having the orb stolen by him”, Kotal said grimly, to the agreement of all in the Council.
“Then should we hand it to Raiden? My Tarkatans, when we were still Shao Kahn’s servants, managed to break into the Wu Shi. We must not overestimate Raiden’s ability to guard relics within Wu Shi”, Baraka asked.
“We must defend the relic ourselves. This is a matter between Outworld and Edenia, not Earthrealm. The Shokans can will defend it at all costs”, Goro suggested.
“Goro is right. We must not ran away from our responsibilities”, Sheeva added.
“Then we shall keep the relic in Outworld for now. However, if Raiden finds more secure place to guard the relic, I will have him hide the relic in the place”, Kotal declared, ending the discussion.

Meanwhile, the Death Eaters led by Voldemort himself were in Outworld, heading toward the Council.
“Ah! I am so tired of Quan Chi treating me like a dog! I hope the so called heroes kill him!”, Voldemort spat angrily.
“Why not betray him my lord? If we have the so called orb, we can use it against both Quan Chi and the heroes”, Bellatrix fumed as she too hated Quan Chi for treating her master like a puppet.
“Quan Chi demands us to bring one of his ally back to us, but instead, my lord will take all of so called Outworld and turn it against him! Then, it will be Quan Chi kneeling before my lord as he begs our master to spare him for being disrespectful!”, Rodolphus swore to his master.
“It is a shame Bartemius is now one of them if it were not for the Imperius curse my lord had cast upon him. When Quan Chi dies by my lord’s hand, he will be freed to be one of us again”, Dolohov sighed as he looked at revenant Bartemius who were under the imperius curse by Voldemort to prevent the revenant from reporting about their betrayal.
“We are here, my servants”, Voldemort said as he snuck into the Council. They were tasked to contact with D’Vorah and steal the orb to merge the realms for Shinnok, which would enable him to move between realms freely. Voldemort looked at the Outworld creature with contempt. Soon all Outworld would obey the dark lord and serve him in dominating all.
“D’Vorah! I am the new ally of your master, Quan Chi. I demand you to bring us the orb!”, Voldemort ordered.
“No pathetic Earthrealmer demands this one to do his bidding, and the orb belongs to the emperor”, the Kytinn retorted.
“If you say the orb does belong to the emperor, it would mean you are no longer Quan Chi’s ally, I presume. Then we have the same goal”, Voldemort said as he gave into his Slytherin side.
“This one does not work with Earthrealmers unless the emperor demands it, but this one shall take you to him to clarify your purpose”, D’Vorah replied as the Kytinn took the death eaters to Kotal, much to the dark lord’s delight. Soon they arrived at the location where Kotal was.
“Emperor. I am Lord Voldemort. My clan, death eaters, were enslaved by Quan Chi until we escaped his grip. Please aid us in defeating him to free our clan”, Voldemort said as he pretended to be an innocent victim. However, Voldemort’s lies was not enough to deceive the new Kahn.
“If you people are an Earthrealm klan enslaved by Quan Chi, why didn’t you ask Raiden or his champions for help instead of us? I assume you have a reason to avoid them, such as you being a traitor to Earthrealm”, Kotal retorted. By the time, Kotal’s allies arrived at his place, ready to react.
“I heard from Quan Chi your realm had history with sorcerers like him or Shang Tsung. I thought you would help us against him!”, Voldemort retorted.
“What you fail to understand, is that Outworld is no longer korrupt. We now fight for honor and We do not tolerate vile sorcerers like Shang Tsung or Quan Chi anymore, and YOU and your emblem resemble to Quan Chi a lot. I had seen liars like these vile beings and I understand you are no different from them. YOU will not leave Outworld alive back to Earthrealm!”, Kotal declared, brandishing his sword. Voldemort was angered by this turn of events. He was supposed to put Outworld under his feet, and he had been denied at the beginning.
“You are naive and inferior! Honor is useless! There is only power and those too weak to seek it!”, Voldemort roared as he brandished his wand.
“Avada Kedavra!”, Voldemort yelled as he unleashed the killing curse at the emperor, who dodged the green spark by stepping aside, which collided into his chair.
“Is that your best?”, Kotal smirked as he summoned the power of sun upon the death eaters, burning them down to crisp, killing them instantly.
“Kotal, make sure they are good roasted meat. They are to go to a meat kart for our tribe!”, Baraka declared as he brandished his arm blade.
“Kill them!”, Voldemort yelled at the surviving death eaters. The Werewolves attacked Baraka and Reptile. The wolves wanted to bite them. However, Baraka and Reptile were experts of eating their victims. Baraka’s arm blades sliced the pack with ease, while Reptile’s acid puke blinded them. Reptile then spit acid on Rabastian’s face, which began to melt. Reptile then grabbed the head of Rabastian Lestrange and ripped it in half, killing him.
“Disgusting Earthrealmer!”, Reptile said as the Saurian went to kill more death eaters by chopping their heads off.
Bellatrix was also among the lucky ones who survived Kotal Kahn. She brandished her wand as she faced Sheeva, who looked at the death eater with contempt.
“Crucio!”, Bellatrix fired her spell, which was supposed to hit the Shokan queen. However, Sheeva was already above Bellatrix as she jumped in the air to stomp on the death eater. Bellatrix did not anticipate the move and allowed the Shokan to stomp on her. The stomp broke Bellatrix’s rib cage, causing the lieutenant to moan in pain.
“None of you will last long. You have no true warriors”, Sheeva said sternly as she twisted Bellatrix’s arm and buried the evil witch in the ground, completely disabling Bellatrix.
Voldemort looked at the Outworlders slaughtering his death eaters with fury. However, he was not going to allow another humiliating defeat. The first time was by Wonder Woman. The second was by Wonder Girl and Green Guardian. He was not going to allow these barbarians to make him suffer another defeat. Voldemort summoned a fire snake toward Kotal, to make the Osh Tekk burn for killing his minions. However, the fire snake was dissolved by a water tornado summoned by Rain, who stood next to Kotal.
“You are not divine”, Rain said to mock Voldemort, much to Voldemort’s fury.
“Enough! I am the descendent of the great Salazar Slytherin! You are all beneath me! I am the true lord of darkness you dull creatures, and I will not be bullied by...”, Voldemort tried to finish his sentence. However, Goro grabbed Voldemort and pummeled the lord of pathetic defeats and smashed Voldemort on the ground, breaking every bone in Tom Riddle’s body.
“Puny lord. I am the master of kombat”, Goro declared as he stood over Voldemort with proud face.
“At least Shao Kahn had immense power. He is too weak even to seek power.”, Kotal said with a smirk.
“He doesn’t even have one soul. He only has one seventh”, Ermac added with disgust. Voldemort could not even move, but he wanted them all DEAD.
“Nagini! Kill them!”, Voldemort ordered. A giant snake appeared in front of these Outworld warriors, readying its poisonous fangs. Nagini charged into kotal and the warriors. However, Ermac’s soul blast quickly forced the beast away.
“We are many. You are but one seventh”, Ermac said as he lifted Nagini up in the air and slammed it on the ground multiple times. Kotal, Goro, and Rain let Ermac have the fun as Voldemort, who was still lying on the ground could only watch his horcrux getting wrecked. More death eaters came to aid their master, led by Rodolphus and Dorohov.
“You will not touch our lord further, barbarians!”, Dolohov declared as he unleashed a whip magic to hurt the Outworlders. However, Sindel screamed at Dorohov even before he could make a move. Rodolphus tried to fire a Crucio, but Skarlet trapped the death eater in a boiling blood. Rain saw the sign and threw a water dagger at Rodolphus, creating a open wound.
“Your bloodline, ends”, the blood mage said as she made Rodolphus explode into blood, killing him. Nitara feasted on the blood of Rodolphus to feed her thirst for blood. The death eaters were diminishing in numbers.
“You vile sorcerers will never pollute Outworld again”, Li Mei declared as she decapitated surviving death eaters with her Yari. Kintaro’s fire breath made a fine roasted death eaters for Baraka. Ferra sliced the death eaters in half while Torr grabbed her and kicked other death eaters away. D’Vorah unleashed a man-eating bugs at the faces of the death eaters, leaving nothing but bloody skulls.
“The hive is pleased to end you”, the Kytinn said as her larvae began to devour the corpses of the death eaters. Voldemort, finally understood he could never win.
“Retreat! Back to the Netherrealm!”, Voldemort said as he turned into a fog of black smoke. The few remaining death eaters did the same and retreated to the sky of Outworld. Sindel looked at their retreat with disgust, as she had a great resentment toward vile sorcerers ever since Quan Chi had managed to korrupt her.
“I knew he was serving Quan Chi all along. He was too weak to have the power to backstab him. How pathetic”, Sindel spat with anger.
“Indeed. Even in his view on power, he is too weak to seek it”, Kotal replied with contempt toward the lord of cowardice.

The surviving death eaters managed to make it back to the Netherealm, where Quan Chi was waiting for them with a gaze of contempt. The Oni demons were carrying mindless titans back to the Netherrealm. Quan Chi blasted revenant Bartemius and blew a hole in the revenant’s chest, before blasting Voldemort from a magic circle of torment.
“I heard everything you had been planning against us from your servant, and you’ve failed the most simple task I gave you. The only use we would have for you from now will be as a meat shield to buy us time”, Quan Chi said with an evil smirk.
“You didn’t tell me D’Vorah was now against you! If you had, we would had snuck without any outworlders noticing and stole the orb with ease!”, Voldemort declared, but Quan Chi ignored the pathetic sorcerer.
“I know you had been attempting to put entire outworld army on your so called imperius curse. You would have failed anyway! Wormtail had already stolen my lord’s amulet. He is still taking time to survive the Shaolin traps, but he will come to me when the time is ready, unlike you who failed in everything!”, Quan Chi said with contempt.
“Wormtail is beneath us!”, Bellatrix retorted, but Quan Chi continued.
“He is far competent than any of you, the only death eater capable of victory perhaps. Now, I turn you all into dusts”, Quan Chi declared, only to be interrupted by revenant Marcel.
“My master, the mindless titans outside the walls had been all transported to the Netherrealm. Please open a portal near the so called Survey corps base to kill them and bring the rest to the Netherrealm”, the revenant shifter answered.
“You had done well, Marcel, unlike those incompetent fools. Now, you may go. Moloch, Drahmin! Torture them while I bring the deceased death eaters back as revenants! They are to know their place among our ranks, which is the lowest of the brotherhood!”, Quan Chi declared as he left to bring the dead death eaters back.
The Armored Titan hanged onto the hellish cliff of the Netherrealm. Reiner could hear everything Quan Chi was planning. He knew the only one hero he could count on, but he didn’t know whether the hero would help him or not. Reiner emerged from the titan nape and looked at his revenant comrade in despair.
“It’s over... The world is doomed...”, Falco Grice, one of the lone survivors of Liberio sighed in despair.
“We trained like hell to fight devils on the island... for this?! Now everyone’s gone, and there is no way we can fight such powerful beings”, Gabi sighed in defeat. The two warrior cadets never knew such powers did exist. All they had been taught was that the Paradis island was the worst threat to the world with devils.
“I know of someone who would never give up and might have a chance against them. He is the protector of Paradis island... we must ask him for help, but the problem is that he is off world. I know someone who can contact him and bring him to help us”, Reiner said, with doubt.
“Are we asking the devils for help?! I don’t want to go to another hell anymore!”, Gabi spat angrily.
“I had been serving as a spy in that island... The people there are actually innocent, and I brought hell upon them... The real devils are out here, to end the entire world. We need help from the island”, Reiner declared.
“But how do we escape this place? This place is guarded with so many powerful beings we can never imagine”, Falco retorted weakly.
“The Paradis island has a hero... the protector of all innocent lives and their freedom. He never gives up his willpower to fight against evil, no matter how powerful they are. It is about time I followed his example”, Reiner said with determination.
“Then we must go now! The world is coming to an end! We must get the hero’s help to stop Quan Chi, for Liberio!”, Gabi said, determined to avenge her home. By the time, revenant Marcel was leading a Oni demon horde to invade Wall Rose to kill the survey corps and bring the rest of Eldians for mindless titans.
“Now go, Marcel. I have faith in you”, Quan Chi ordered with an evil smirk.
“Yes, my master. I shall not disappoint you”, the revenant smirked as Quan Chi opened a portal to Wall Rose. Marcel left with the Oni horde, along with the brainwashed Beast Titan, as well as revenant Grisha and revenant Alfred. This was the chance, for Reiner. The Armored Titan climbed the cliff and ran toward the portal. Quan Chi did not notice them as he was busy brining the death eaters back as revenants to make them serve him as meat shields. The Armored Titan followed the horde and managed to enter the portal by the time Quan Chi noticed its footsteps.
Meanwhile, the survey corps were training near their base when they heard a otherworldly growl. Mike sniffed the air and reported.
“It smells! It is not titans, but it smells like the corpses of Yellow Lanterns!”, the rest heard this in dread. Soon, they saw otherworldly creatures before them.
“Take them all back to my master. Keep them alive as much as possible”, revenant Marcel ordered, as he transformed into his titan form. Brainwashed Zeke looked at revenant Grisha, his father turned into a puppet.
“Do you need a son who disobeys Lord Shinnok?”, the Beast Titan asked sarcastically.
“I don’t need a son who disobeys my lord and master. Soon our family will be reunited again”, Grisha said before he turned into his attack titan form as well. The survey corps looked at the demonic creatures in dread, except for Hange.
“Wow! I’ve never seem anything like you! Can I touch?”, the reckless soldier asked the Oni. However, Hange was punched by the Oni which grabbed her with its legs and took her into the sky. Hange managed to break free by slicing off the Oni’s leg, landing back to safety.
“Please Stop being reckless! You will really die!”, Moblit yelled in terror. All soldiers gasped in fear as the Oni horde roared into the sky. Zeke prepared to throw bottles which contained his spinal fluid gas, to turn them all into mindless titans.
“I’m going for a perfect game, for Lord Shinnok”, the Beast Titan said as he brandished his hand to threw the bottle. However, Zeke did not get the chance as the Armored Titan tackled his titan form, forcing the Beast Titan to lose its grip on the bottles. Reiner quickly grabbed the bottle and tossed it away into the portal which hasn’t closed yet, so that the Oni demons could bring more Eldians back to the Netherrealm. The Armored Titan ran toward the soldiers, who were in total surprise.
“Why is the Armored Titan here, and why did he fight the other one?”, Eld said in disbelief.
“Maybe he wanted to kill us himself”, Oluo spat angrily. However, Reiner emerged from the nape of the titan, to tell everyone about the incoming threat.
“Please! Listen to me!”, the titan shifter begged. Mikasa looked at Reiner with anger and activated her violet lantern powers, and brandished her blade to decapitate the traitor.
“You! You were the one! I will kill you with my powers!”, the violet angel declared with hatred, but Reiner ignored her.
“Please! A demon who calls himself Quan Chi is coming for you and your people so he could turn everyone into titans! We have to work together to stop this madness! The demon horde is already here!”, Reiner continued. Every soldier heard Reiner and came to him. However, the violet lantern was in denial, not being able to trust Reiner.
“Lies! You delivered them to us and are tricking us! Your words do not fool me!”, Mikasa yelled with rage. However, Sasha came rushing at them.
“Mikasa! You should believe him!”, Sasha said.
“Why should we?! He destroyed our home!”, Eren yelled at the potato girl in anger.
“I feel like this is similar to the time the One Earth Regime came... We must fight together if we are to survive this!”, the potato girl added. By the time, some Oni demons were carrying some soldiers to the portal, to Reiner’s despair.
“Do not let those demons get into the portal! If you allow them, these people will become titans!”, Reiner yelled. The violet lantern finally snapped out of her anger and summoned a violet wall to block the portal. However, the Beast Titan, as well as revenant Jaws Titan and Revenant Attack Titan came to them, much to everyone’s horror.
“For Quan Chi and Lord Shinnok”, the Beast Titan said as he prepared to throw rocks at the soldiers to kill them. Reiner quickly entered his titan form again to fight the brainwashed titan. The Oni ground horde came to the soldiers, led by revenant Alfred.
The soldiers did their best to counter the Oni horde, but they were unable to catch the flying Oni demons as they took more people hostage. The Violet Angel was forced to stay focused on the violet walls which blocked the entrance to the Netherrealm, separating her from the fight. The Oni demons came toward the lantern to kill her, but Sasha had something which could repel them.
“Stay away from my friend!”, a black stick impaled an Oni in the mouth. It was the escrima stick of the Damain Wayne impostor who had been slain by the Green Guardian himself. Sasha struck the Oni demons with her new weapon as she swung it around, electrocuting the Oni demons. Jean and Connie joined Sasha to defend their allies from the Oni horde, brandishing their blades. Eren attempted to transform to protect everyone, but to his horror, he could not.
“Why aren’t you transforming? Is anything disturbing you?”, Petra asked the titan shifter.
“Miss... no matter how focused I am, I can’t...”, Eren said as he looked at his bloody hand in dread. He had lost his powers as revenant Grisha was using it.
“Defend this place, at all costs!”, Erwin ordered as he, Mike and Levi charged into the Oni hordes. They managed to slice the Oni demons which came toward them, but revenant Alfred threw a knife at them to stop them.
“Levi, your friends are waiting for you to join us”, revenant Alfred said with a smirk.
“Whatever you are, keep my allies’ name out of your mouth”, the captain said as they fought. Alfred swung his knife to make Levi dodge it, and kicked Levi in the stomach. Levi groaned in pain and let Alfred toss a stun grenade at him. However, the Levi squad came to assist their captain to deal with the revenant.
“Don’t you dare touch him!”, Gunther yelled as he shoot Alfred with a signal flare, blinding him. Levi quickly recovered and grabbed Alfred’s leg and kicked the revenant in the leg, breaking it. Alfred then brandished his knife and ran toward the captain to kill him. However, the rest of the squad came and surrounded the revenant and kicked him from all directions. This made Alfred drop his knife, and allowed Levi to kick the revenant in the head. Levi then quickly grabbed Alfred’s arm and twisted it, breaking it. Then Levi kicked Alfred in the head once again and threw the revenant butler from a rooftop.

Meanwhile, on Earth, the Green Guardian and Wonder Girl looked at the Annie whom they just freed from Quan Chi with contempt.
“Nightwing, can we take this bitch away from you? This is a personal matter between us”, the green lantern growled in fury.
“Whatever you wish. You helped us survive”, Nightwing said. Now Armin and Cassie could finally find out who had sent the titan shifter to Earth. Armin wrapped his lasso of truth around Annie once again, as it began to glow in golden light.
“This lasso compels you to tell the truth, who sent you here?”, the green lantern asked with fury in his eyes.
“A being called Quan Chi brainwashed me, Bertolt, and made us invade places called Gotham and Metropolis. Reiner managed to escape but I don’t know whether he is alive or not”, the titan shifter answered.
“Do you regret everything you did to my home and people? Answer me, Whore!”, the Green Guardian yelled in fury.
“Yes... I do. Ever since I met everyone, I didn’t want to kill you, but it was a mission given to me by my home, which was taken by Quan Chi”, the titan shifter replied.
“So you do have regrets, then I won’t kill you”, Armin said with slight hatred.
“Well I knew you had a soft spot on me”, Annie said with sarcasm, but this pushed the green lantern to his limit.
“I have none for you, Scum! You helped Reiner and Bertolt take Eren’s home away and almost kill his mom! You are no better than the Joker and the Regime! The only reason I let you live is that you want redemption! My heart is only for Kara Zor-El, the last hope of Krypton in the regime’s world!”, Armin revealed with great hatred, much to Cassie’s surprise.
“Wait, You have a crush on Kara?!”, Cassie asked her companion who helped her regain hope.
“I do... Seeing her in Hal’s memory encouraged me to fight for hope and justice, against the Regime. I couldn’t stand seeing her suffer because of these regime bastards... which is why I won’t kill this bitch so I won’t be like that Supermaniac and Wonder Whore who made her suffer...”, the green lantern said with sadness.
“Wait, I heard Quan Chi call someone Kara while I was brainwashed. Is the name...”, Annie asked the duo, who was now mad.
“Quan Chi! So he was behind everything! He corrupted Kara!”, Cassie yelled with fury. They were both furious, but an alarm prevented from roaring in fury. It said ‘distress - Mikasa Ackerman’.
“Looks like my world is in trouble! You! Come with us if you truly want to make up for your bad deeds!”, Armin yelled at Annie, who could only nod at the hateful hero.
“Armin? Maybe we should collect other titan shifters on Earth if they are freed”, Cassie suggested.
“You are right, Cassie. Now tell me who was sent to Earth! I will locate them all and teleport them all here!”, Armin ordered fiercely.
“Bertolt and Pieck were sent to Earth”, the titan shifter replied. In an instant, they were all brought to the location. At the same time, Furlan and Isabel, who were resurrected came to them.
“You! You were a titan! Now we are free and we will kill you for...”, Isabel brandished her sword with fury, recalling her revenant time when she worked with them.
“Do not. We now share the same enemy. I, the Green Guardian, demand it”, Armin ordered. The soldier duo were in shock. They never believed the hero’s existence at all.
“So you exist?! Why weren’t you fighting then?”, Furlan asked the lantern, who replied with shame.
“Maybe I took too much time defending the poor people. I never looked for soldiers... I’m sorry”, the duo understood what they meant. They also had a thing for saving poor people in the underground town.
“I see. So can we go back, to our home?”, Isabel asked.
“Yes, we must save it from Quan Chi. Let’s go”, the green lantern said as he summoned a ground portal which took them all up into the sky to the survey corps base, to save their world from Quan Chi’s invasion.

Meanwhile, the Armored Titan were getting bodied by the three titan shifters. The soldiers fought with every weapon, but the Oni horde began to take them one by one. Reiner tackled the Beast Titan and pushed Zeke away from him. This allowed Levi to enter the fight, who sliced the Beast Titan with an incredible speed. Levi sliced the Beast Titan from all directions and went up toward the nape and sliced it, forcing Zeke Yeager out. Reiner saw Levi defeat Zeke and went out of the nape.
“Captain Levi! Cut off all his limbs! Then he won’t transform for a while!”, Reiner yelled as he fought the Jaws Titan, who sliced off his armor with the claws. Suddenly, the Jaws Titan lost its interest in Reiner and looked at the Violet Angel, who was blocking the entrance to the Netherrealm. Gabi and Falco could not allow that to happen, as they yelled.
“Fight us you demon! We aren’t going anywhere!”, the little girl yelled. Revenant Marcel smirked as his titan made its way toward the girl to kill her, as Reiner watched in dread. However, Falco shielded Gabi from the claws, getting hit by the claws instead.
“Noooooo!”, Reiner screamed as he bit the revenant Attack Titan in the neck. He unleashed all his might and ripped the head off from its body. Reiner didn’t even hesitate to stomp on the nape, squashing revenant Grisha inside the nape, killing him. The loss of grip on the attack titan power finally allowed Eren to transform, but it was already too late. Or so they thought.
Suddenly, a massive green light appeared out of nowhere as it began to reveal the form of Green Guardian, the protector of the walls. Then it began to show the Colossal Titan and the Female Titan, as well as the Cart Titan. Finally, Wonder Girl and two soldiers entered the battlefield as the green lantern unleashed his war cry.
“You will regret coming to my home, Quan Chi!”, everyone looked at their protector with hope, as their chance for survival increase tenfold.
