Saving Friends and Family
The Avengers made it to the special forces base in no time. The special forces were doing well against the Oni hordes, but not against the mindless titans. Their airplanes missed the nape and were taken down by the titans which swarmed upon them. Only a few members of the Special forces remained, which included Jax, Sonya, Johnny, Stryker, and Kabal. They were outnumbered, until a help from the Avengers arrived.
“Are they, the Avengers?!”, Jax said in awe as they looked at the A insignia on the Quinjet.
“We are the Avengers!”, Captain America declared.
Steve activated the jetpack on his back and flew between the titan horde, slicing their napes with the vibranium shield. Hulk jumped out of the Quinjet and began ripping off the flesh from the titans’ napes, killing them all with ease while jumping nape to nape. Iron Man and War Machine both shoot the napes with their repulser blasts, decimating the titans, along with Captain Marvel. Doctor Strange threw mystical blades at their napes and killed the titans with ease. Mr Fantastic and Antman grew as big as the titans and kept punching them in the nape. Stormbreaker flew between the titans as it decimated the horde by slicing their napes at once. Soon the titan horde was completely extinguished. Leaving only the Oni horde alive.
“Well that was easy”, Tony commented.
“You Avengers, really are something”, Stryker said.
“I maybe should consider joining SHIELD someday”, Sonya sighed, looking at the dead bodies of her comrades.
“Well no time for talk! We got more enemies coming!”, Jax ordered as he punched a hole in the head of an incoming Oni.
The Avengers were quick to take their fighting stance once again. Spider-Man dodged countless Oni attacking him and webbed them all, allowing Wanda to rip them apart with her reddish energy attack. Quicksilver took one of Kabal’s hook sword and ran into the horde alongside Kabal, slicing them into pieces together.
“You are real quick!”, Kabal said as they decimated the Oni horde.
“I could say the same about you”, Quicksilver replied as he killed an incoming Oni with the hook sword.
Black Widow, Stryker, Sonya, and Bucky fired their guns at the Oni horde, alongside Hawkeye who fired explosive arrows, and Johnny who fired his green energy balls. Iron Man, War Machine, Human Torch and Falcon bombarded the flying Oni horde with missiles, decimating them all. Hercules and Captain America used their weapons, mace and shield to smash the Oni horde, while Hulk and Thing ripped them apart one by one. Invisible Woman created a bubble that imprisoned some Oni inside and shrunk it down, crushing them inside the bubble. Wasp fired her blast from her suit, blowing holes in the demons’ chests. Finally, Thor deemed they were wasting enough time.
“Johnson! Deal with them!”, Thor yelled. Daisy was quick to oblige the order and cause Earthquakes upon the ground Oni forces, disabling their movement. Thor summoned massive lightning from Mjolnir to electrocute all Oni left alive to death. Ending them. However, Thor was hit by a red flying arrow. Irritated, Thor growled and saw a gray-blue skinned humanoid, as well as a distorted version of his mother, Frigga, who also had a gray skin, followed by Nick Fury’s revenant.
“Mother! What has happened to you?!”, Thor roared in fury knowing someone had reanimated his mother, but as a distorted version. However, the revenant queen of Asgard did not even care.
“You left me to die when Kurse and Malekith invaded Asgard, like my friend Nick Fury who was abandoned by your friend Steve Rogers. The great sorcerer Quan Chi brought us all back, and I will reunite you and Loki to my side when you are both dead”, the revenant queen of Asgard said coldly.
“That DEMON! I will free you mother, then I will KILL Quan Chi myself!”, Thor roared as he faced the revenants, alongside his Avengers friends.

Meanwhile, in WILLE’s headquarters, commander Katsuragi watched the entire situation in dread. The world seemed to be at the blink of extinction by the giant monsters and Oni demons. Misato had indeed seen the Apostles and the Black Dragon invading NEO 3 Tokyo, but she wasn’t the one actually fought them. It was her children who she ‘forced’ to fight for them, regardless of how they thought. However, her dread were interrupted by one of the ‘children’, Shinji Ikari.
“Commander, I will be away from WILLE for a while. We never received any attack for now, and the special forces is under attack. I must help them”, the third child said, with determination.
“So you are just going to leave us defenseless?! What would happen of we receive the attack while you are away, you idiot!”, Asuka, who joined them, retorted angrily. However, her tantrum was not going to stop the third child who had recently joined Captain America’s alliance.
“We owe a debt to the Special Forces for helping us against Kano and his lackeys. I must repay the debt. Also, the invasion on Earth is led by Shinnok, a fallen god who the White Lotus would fight against. I must fight with them”, Shinji retorted, already putting Sachiel mask on his face.
“You don’t have to... We adults should be the ones to protect children... You don’t have to force yourself into danger that could destroy the world now that the apostles are gone...”, Misato uttered, anxious about the child’s safety whom she had considered as a brother.
“I’m doing this because I want to. I might had hesitated for the first time, but time after time, I was able to gain courage to fight for my loved ones. I’m also doing this for my mom who gave up her life so we would had a fighting chance against Shinnok. As for you, Asuka, protect everyone here. I have faith in you”, Shinji said as he left them both. He turned to his new friends, Sub Zero and the allies of the Ice Ninja.
“We leave now. We go to the special forces to save them from their destruction!”, the third child declared as he summoned a shadow portal which took him as well as the Ninjas to aid the special forces, except for Frost who were ordered to stay at WILLE headquarter.

The Avengers were dealing with the revenants of their loved ones who lost their lives. However, their hesitance for hurting their loved ones made their loss inevitable. Iron Man could not hurt Nick Fury as the former director was his friend. The same did not go for the corrupt revenant. Nick activated a virus inside the armors of Tony, Rhodey, and Sam, deactivating their armor, rendering them powerless. Nick Fury then threw a grenade launcher at his allies, and fired the gun at Hawkeye and Black Widow. Quake managed to reflect the grenade with her seismic waves, but they did not realize the electrocuting grenade which went beneath them, electrocuting the three agents as well as the special force members, Hercules, Captain America, Quicksilver, Antman, and Wasp, taking them down.
Now, Thor, Hulk, Wanda, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, and the Fantastic Four were the only ones remaining. However, their number decrease when revenant Yondu fired his Yaka at them. The Yaka electrocuted all of them except Strange who had managed to sent the Yaka away with a portal. Only Thor, Hulk, Strange and Thing remained as the rest of them were taken down by the electrocution. However, the situation got even worse as revenant Frigga summoned another Oni horde toward them. Thor decided to face the revenants himself, while gesturing Hulk and Thing to crush the pathetic Oni horde. Hulk and Thing immediately went to smash the Oni demons and rip them apart, while Thor fought the revenants.
Thor’s Stormbreaker clashed with Frigga’s sword as the Asgardians struggled for victory. Nick Fury saw the chance to fire at Thor and fired the grenade, which didn’t affect the god of thunder at all, like Yondu’s Yaka. Thor decided to focus on Frigga as the two exchanged fists and weapons. Doctor Strange distanced himself away from the fight, attempting to find a way to reverse the revenant curse, reading the magic. However, Strange could not focus fully as Yondu’s Yaka had interrupted him.
Strange turned his focus to Yondu and kept deflecting the flying arrow with a portal and making another one open near Yondu to cause Yondu to hit himself. However, the revenant had an excellent control of Yaka, and avoided getting hit by his own Yaka whenever Strange attempted to make Yondu hit himself. The Sorcerer Supreme and the revenant struggled to decide who would get hit first, until Nick Fury attempted to interrupt them. Strange quickly noticed this and formed a mystical shield around himself and summoned a shocking magic which shocked Nick Fury’s revenant until the revenant was unconscious, turning the situation as it once was. Strange knew he needed a distraction, and the distraction had come in the form of a shadow portal.
“Get over here!”, Skorpion unleashed his hellfire chains to slice the Oni demons which dared to attack Strange from above as he emerged from the portal. Sub Zero then jumped out of the shadow portal and froze the Oni horde in front of him, allowing Cyrax and Sareena to slice them with the energy net and kama. Smoke then emerged and threw a smoke at Yondu which blinded the revenant for a while. Finally, Shinji Ikari, in his hero form, jumped out of the portal, closing it.
“Was I too late?”, the third child asked Strange.
“Never. They are just unconscious. I just need a way to disable the vile magic cast upon these undead”, Strange replied. By the time, revenant Nick Fury finally regained consciousness and brandished his cannon at the heroes. However, a mere cannon blast were nothing against Zeruel’s AT field. Yondu tried to support Nick Fury by firing his Yaka at the teen hero, but the Yaka too had been useless against the impregnable wall. The revenants could not stop Captain Apostle from walking toward them with Zeruel’s AT field. Revenant Yondu was irritated by this turn of events, as he was supposed to take the heroes down with ease for his master, Quan Chi.
“It seems you have the same taste for face mask as my bastard son Quill who left me to die in space! I will kill you then him to please my master”, revenant Yondu said with anger.
“You still called him a son! There is still good father inside you and I can feel it! I already saved my dad from darkness! I will save you too!”, Captain Apostle declared as he unleashed the power of Armisael to erode into the revenant skin of Yondu, washing the gray color away. The third child needed Strange to fully purify Yondu.
“Doctor Strange! I need your hand to fully purify him!”, the teen shouted.
“Very well!”, Strange replied as he unleashed his magic upon Yondu. The revenant screamed in pain as he was brought back to life. Yondu looked at his saviors and noticed he had called his son a bastard.
“I... called Quill... a bastard... I could never...”, Yondu uttered in horror as he realized what he just said before he was reborn.
“It was not you. It was a vile clone of you created by a wretch called Quan Chi to trap you inside. You are not at fault. You are still a good father I felt inside your revenant form”, the third child assured Quill’s dad.
“Thanks kid... You are good boy like my boy Quill”, Yondu replied as he fell from exhaustion and pain from his rebirth. Strange looked at Nick Fury’s revenant and formed a magic circle which stopped the time around the revenant. The duo did the same method they used on Yondu and brought Fury back to life, who just realized he was truly alive once again.
“Thanks you two. It’s so good to be alive again”, Nick said with enthusiasm.
“No problem, director Fury”, Strange replied as the resurrector duo looked at Thor fighting revenant Frigga.
“Mother! Don’t make me do this!”, Thor said as he fought Frigga’s sword with Stormbreaker.
“Why not? Quan Chi will reunite our whole family, me, you, my husband, and Loki, all together. Wouldn’t you want your family to be reunited after everything that happened to us?”, the revanant queen said sarcastically.
“No! That is a reunion worse than death! I won’t let that happen!”, Thor said as he hit Frigga with Mjolnir. Thor knew he couldn’t save his mother. However, he could still put her soul to rest once again.
“Forgive me, mother”, Thor said as he summoned a massive lightning toward Stormbreaker which collided against Frigga’s sword, electrocuting her to deep unconsciousness which seemed to had killed her. However, the resurrector duo walked to Thor, to tell him to stop hitting the revenant.
“No more, Odinson! We can save your mother if you cease your attack on her!”, Strange shouted. Thor heard the Sorcerer Supreme and ceased the attack. The power of Armisael began to erode the skin of Frigga’s revenant, and the grayness of her skin began to fade. Finally, Strange unleashed a very powerful magic which purified all of Quan Chi’s influence upon the queen of Asgard. By the time, Hulk had finished ripping the last Oni apart. Frigga, after her resurrection, looked at Thor in shame, as she remembered everything she did and said as a revenant.
“Mother... I couldn’t save you... I’m sorry...”, Thor said with shame in his voice.
“It is I who should be sorry my son... I let the vile demon corrupt me...”, Frigga said with shame as well.
“Mother... It’s just so good to see you again”, Thor said as they embraced each other. The other heroes had finally recovered. They looked at the reunion between a son and mother with a smile.
