Knightmare The Beginning
Doctor Strange was sleeping in his bed. He had recently taken the students and teachers of Hogwarts in Kamar Taj to train them to become better sorcerers. Strange was quite tired, but his dream was not going to allow him to sleep.
Strange found himself in a room like that of Avengers Compound. Then he saw a corpse of a green lantern member, who took a kryptonite lance to his heart. To Strange’s horror, he saw Galatea, the supervillain who killed Batman caress the corpse, until her eyes glowed red.
“I’ll kill them all, for you”, Galatea said as she looked at the corpse one last time with loving gaze, before she blasted everyone with heat vision. Strange wasn’t fast enough to react, and was killed. Strange gasped as he woke up from a dream where he was killed. Strange did not know what happened, but he could feel that the dream was a vision of an incoming future. Strange went out to see the progress of the new members of Kamar Taj. Rintrah and Sara Wolfe were teaching the order and other students and parents.
“Wong, how are they learning?”, Strange asked.
“The students seem to be learning well. Now they can at least form portals and energy blasts. However, the old teachers are not doing great”, Wong replied.
“We are too old to learn this complicated form of magic. How is it that you all can learn so quickly, Harry?”, Dumbledore asked Harry, training with him in Kamar Taj.
“A man is never too old to learn, headmaster, but it’s still true we youngsters can learn things fast”, Harry answered.
“I learn quickly because I’m living my dream right now. I’m a superhero’s apprentice! It’s incredible!”, Hermione exclaimed.
“And this magic doesn’t wrong itself because of wrong pronunciation!”, Ron added happily. Strange approached the trio and smiled.
“It’s a good thing you three are learning fast. I was a fast learner too. By the way, did you know a magic of Kamar Taj existed in your school?”, Strange asked.
“What?! We never thought about that!”, Hermione exclaimed, incredulous.
“It’s the room of requirement. I took a look on the room, and discovered its secret. It creates whatever the resident needs, by creating a small dimension in the room. I, the Sorcerer Supreme is capable of generating a pocket dimension like that, maybe my predecessor had something to do with the room”, Strange explained. The four from Hogwarts nodded, surprised. It was the end of the training for the day, and the students and teachers returned to Hogwarts from the portal Harry and his two best friends summoned.

Meanwhile, on a different planet, three teens were talking in a hidden place at night. All of them were desperate, as their plans were doomed to failure.
“We should abandon our mission and head back, and warn everyone about the ‘protectors’! The mission is already lost! They will come for us and our home when they discover about us! We must head back so they won’t find out and come to destroy our home!”, Bertolt said in fear. They were the titan shifters sent from outside of the walls, and the ones responsible for the demise of Wall Maria. A month and a week had passed since the new protector inside the walls, Green Guardian had withdrew the regime invasion force. Now the titan shifters knew they were no match against him.
“It is all your fault! You led us to our doom by forcing us to go into the walls! What happens next is all on you and your incompetence! You both just played soldiers when I did all the hard and dirty work!”, Annie snapped as she pointed her finger at Reiner, the very one who made them invade the walls.
“It was to gain their trust to blend in! And now Armin’s off-world! This is our only chance to take Eren back home! We must act now!”, Reiner said to encourage his allies, but both Bertolt and Annie had grim expressions.
“Even if he’s off-world going to ‘Earth’, they also have Mikasa and she has same powers as him! And Armin can come back when he finds out and crush us like he did to the ‘One Earth Regime’ invaders! We cannot risk invoking his wrath!”, Bertolt retorted. However, none of them realized someone else was watching them, from the shadows.
“So these pathetic fools are your ‘friends’ who left you to die, aren’t they, Marcel?”, a being of pure shadow whispered.
“Yes, I’m grateful Quan Chi brought me back to serve my new master. I now see the truth that only darkness can rule”, the gray-skinned teen, Marcel replied. The duo suddenly appeared in front of the titan shifters, who were in great shock.
“Marcel?! How is this possible?”, Reiner tried to welcome his fallen comrade, but Marcel gave him a sinister grin as Noob Saibot summoned a portal which sucked Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie into the Netherrealm, where Quan Chi and to their surprise, Zeke and Pieck had been waiting.
“Welcome, my warriors. From now on, as my friend Marcel here, you will serve our lord Shinnok”, the white and bold demon said with a evil smile. The three never understood what was going on, but they knew they were never in a good situation.
“It’s been long since you left, now let’s serve Lord Shinnok together”, Zeke suggested, without emotion.
“Yes, you will become one of us and serve my master Quan Chi and Lord Shinnok”, Pieck added, also devoid of emotion. Reiner instantly knew this ‘Quan Chi’ had done something to them. He had to find out what Quan Chi did to his comrades.
“What have you done to them?! They have no emotion at all! What are you going to make us do?!”, Reiner snapped at the sorcerer, who just let out a evil laugh.
“Thanks to your friend Marcel whom you left to die, Lord Shinnok was able to sense his creation which had been hidden from him, your titan powers. I brought your ‘friend’ back to life, and he only obeys me and my master. My Lord created it to cause death and misery across the realms. You will use your powers to destroy everything in this universe, including your home”, Quan Chi explained. Now the three shifters were in horror as they realized they were going to become a mindless slaves like Marcel, Zeke, and Pieck. Quan Chi looked at the three of them as he informed his servants.
“Marcel, I grant you the honor of torturing them and bending them to my will. Take them to the torture chamber”, Quan Chi ordered. The three of them could do nothing as the Oni demons grabbed them toward the torture chamber. The torture was painful and endless. Reiner had managed not to break down from the pain both physically and mentally, but Bertolt and Annie had been quick to succumb to their new master, Quan Chi, as their eyes too became devoid of emotion, to Reiner’s despair. Quan Chi was quite impressed how Reiner had held out for so long, but he knew exactly how to break a person’s mind.
“Tom Riddle! Bring me the Eldians from Liberio! Show me their progress!”, Quan Chi ordered. Soon Reiner discovered all Eldians from his home, Liberio, almost all of them wiped out of their mind.
“What have you done!? I know you are going to enslave me like you did to my friends! You won’t have any problems with me knowing the truth if you are going to break me anyway!”, Reiner snapped. However, this time, it was Marcel who answered.
“You left me to die when the titan tried to eat you. My master Quan Chi brought me back to life, and I serve him, not Marley. I offered the entire Eldian population of my previous home as a tribute to my master. Soon Zeke is going to transform them all into mindless titans to help Lord Shinnok destroy every life in the realms! You are just a failure, not a hero!”, the revenant laughed at Reiner, who was devastated to see his brother figure become evil enough to kill his own home.
“Why?! You were the best of us! Please! Stop this madness!”, Reiner pleaded, but he could do nothing as he was chained in the air. Reiner thought this was the end for all of them. He saw his mother forced to drink Zeke’s spinal fluid, and it was almost his cousin’s turn, who was in terror. Then Reiner remembered. He was never a hero. He was a villain like the One Earth Regime, whom his ‘friend’ Armin had fought against with all his willpower. Reiner summoned every ounce of willpower left in him as he let the chains impale him, and hurt him. This allowed Reiner to transform into his Armored Titan form as he charged into the Death Eaters who were about to force his cousin Gabi and her friend drink Zeke’s spinal fluid. He instantly grabbed the two and jumped down a nearby cliff, faking his demise. Marcel attempted to transform into his Jaws Titan form to capture Reiner, but Quan Chi stopped him.
“No, Marcel. He’s a waste of our time. Bi-Han! Break Kara out of her cell and destroy every guard on Strykers! The invasion on Earthrealm begins now!”, Quan Chi laughed menacingly, as his slaves knelt before him.

Bi-Han smirked as he found Galatea in her red sun prison, waiting for him. Galatea saw Bi-Han and returned a smile.
“So, our time has come, Bi-Han?”, Galatea asked Noob Saibot, who returned a sinister grin.
“Yes, Kara. Lord Shinnok’s army is now ready. The destruction of the realms begins! We will konquer all realms!”, Bi-Han said as he created a shadow portal which let Galatea out of her cell. The alarm rang as the system spotted Galatea’s escape.
“She’s free!”, a officer said as he fired at Galatea, who just deflected the bullets. Galatea unleashed her heat vision to vaporize every guard who came for them. They decimated every guard as they left the Stryker’s island, letting out villains like Grodd, Cheetah, Bane, and Crossbones.
“Kal-El, the destruction of your loved ones begins now. We will make you watch as we take everything from you, like you did to me. Soon the world will know we and Lord Shinnok are the true heroes, not you. Then Lord Shinnok with his army of dead revenants, I will be able to kill all Kal-El and all Diana across the multiverse!”, Galatea smirked as she returned to the Netherrealm, where her new comrades had been waiting.

In WILLE’s hospital deck, Cyrax was delighted to have his human body back again. His former Cyber body was kept as a body armor he could wear in battle. Sub Zero, Smoke, and Cyrax all showed their gratitude to the very person who offered Cyrax and the remaining Lin Kuei Cybers their human body back, Shinji Ikari, the captain of WILLE.
“We are grateful for your service, Captain Ikari. It’s good to be human again”, Cyrax said.
“It was never a problem. We owe a great debt to the special forces when we went to a war against Kano, and I am trying to redeem the dark past of NERV, which was caused by an evil organization, SEELE. Lord Raiden informed me they worship the one being, which Shinnok wants to become”, Shinji replied.
“You had an organization which worshipped Shinnok above you?! It must had been really hard for you to redeem NERV”, Smoke said in awe.
“My father is the only one who shared the same goal, everyone else was not. He wanted to become one with my mother who had sacrificed herself so we had a fighting chance against Shinnok. I told him about that and he cut his ties with SEELE. I was glad I managed to save my father from his dark path”, Shinji expressed his relief, when an emergency news showed up on a nearby screen. It showed Galatea and Noob Saibot killing the guards in Stryker’s island.
“Bi-Han...”, Sareena said with sadness. Kuai Liang and Hanzo Hasashi also lowered their heads in shame, for not being able to prevent Quan Chi’s grip on Bi-Han.
“Who’s Bi-Han?”, Shinji, who was ignorant of who ‘Bi-Han’ was, asked everyone else.
“Bi-Han is my brother. The Netherrealm vile sorcerer Quan Chi brainwashed Bi-Han to be his mindless slave. Bi-Han is honorable person. This is Quan Chi pulling his strings on my brother”, Kuai Liang answered.
“Yeah, Liu Kang told me how evil the sorcerer is. I believe it”, Shinji replied.
“Quan Chi got his grips on Bi-Han when Bi-Han let me out of the Netherrealm. It was my fault”, Sareena said, with shame.
“And I killed Bi-Han for killing my family and Klan, even though it was Quan Chi who was making Bi-Han do that, pushing him into the point of no return”, Hanzo added, also remorseful.
“Then we should save him! Maybe I can be of help. I have telepathic powers which might be able to shatter Quan Chi’s mind control on Bi-Han!”, Shinji suggested. Kuai was totally grateful. Not only the teen had restored his friend’s humanity, but he was also going to help him restore his brother to the light.
“Thank you, captain Ikari. We really owe you, and the Lin Kuei will be forever in your debt”, Kuai said, bowing with gratitude.
“It’s fine. I want to do my best to help people as much as possible. It is my responsibility ever since I became an EVA pilot. I am glad I can be of help”, Shinji smiled at Sub Zero, also bowing, with respect.
“We still need to take care of Galatea if we are going to help your brother, Sifu”, Frost warned everyone about the fact Galatea was also with Bi-Han.
“We will call for more help who can actually hold her down when we save Bi-Han”, Kuai replied, assuring his student, who was beginning to view him as her father figure.

In the Titans tower, Dick was in total rage as he saw Bruce’s killer escape her cell. Dick wanted Galatea to die, and it would be by his hands. Dick slammed his fists on the table, bellowing with rage.
“I should had killed her when Superman had let me visit her cell!”, Dick roared angrily.
“Dick... I know how you feel... I too want her dead...”, Jason sighed as he talked to Dick.
“She should indeed die for what she did to your father. Even my sister Blackfire had her limits”, Kory said with anger in her voice, at Galatea for hurting Dick.
“Jay... I will not allow her to take any of my family again. This time, I will KILL her”, Dick said as he led Jason and Kory to where Dick had secretly kept his new armor. Barbara and Tim also followed Dick, as he revealed his new bulky armor. It had Kryptonite radiation as well as a Kryptonite spear, to everyone’s amazement.
“Jay, Tim, Babs, Kory. I will face Galatea and kill her with this. I don’t want to lose my family anymore, and I will never let her take another of my family again”, Dick said as the four nodded.
“Please... just promise you won’t die by her hands like Bruce and Alfred... I already lost my dad to the court... I cannot lose you too...”, Barbara murmured with anxiety in her voice.
“Dick, even if you cannot kill her, you don’t have to blame yourself... We are good with you being alive...”, Tim sighed, also anxious.
“I will never let her kill me, as well as all of you. Galatea will DIE as she pleads me to spare her”, Dick said as he wore the Batman armor. Dick felt as if his father, Bruce, had been waiting for him to bring Galatea’s head to his tombstone.
‘Thank you, Bruce. Now I can avenge you and Alfred properly. You won’t have to wait long until I deliver you that bitch’s head’, Dick thought to himself, as he swung the Kryptonite spear in the air.

In the Netherrealm, Shinnok’s army was finally ready as they sought to destroy everything in their path. The Army had revenant Batman, Alfred Pennyworth, Nick Fury, and a blue skinned man with a crest, called Yondu. The Titan shifters including revenant Marcel and Grisha was also ready to kill, as well as revenant Isabel and Furlan. The Eldians were already transformed into mindless titans as well, the Oni demon horde with them, ready to devour everything. Quan Chi stood before them, with Galatea and Noob Saibot by his sides.
“Listen, my servants. Today, we destroy whoever stands in our way. We all destroy all and they will become us. Now we attack the homes of the so called heroes, to teach them despair. Shao Kahn was a novice when it came to power, as he was no god, but Lord Shinnok is a god who is above all gods! We shall teach all who is their true master, like I had taught you all!”, Quan Chi declared.
“Yes! My master! Glory for Quan Chi and Lord Shinnok!”, the army of Quan Chi cheered as they knelt before the sorcerer.
“Teach them the power of darkness, and death. We are immutable and unkillable”, Bi-Han smirked as he added.
“Destroy the so-called heroes! Show them who is the true master and hero, Lord Shinnok and Quan Chi!”, Galatea declared as she let out her joy of finally getting the chance to get her revenge on Superman and Wonder Woman, and all those who sided with them.

In the Earthrealm, everywhere, shadow portals emerged. Soon, the Oni hordes and mindless titans began to purge their path to the weak, ready to devour them all. In the high air of Metropolis, a shadow portal opened as it revealed a teen, who had suddenly emitted immense light.
“For Lord Shinnok”, the titan shifters across Earthrealm said as they transformed. In the instant, Metropolis was met with a destructive explosion which blasted the city, destroying everything in its wake. Soon out of the smoke and fire, the Colossal Titan emerged in the ruins of what was once Metropolis. Soon more mindless titans entered the ruin of Metropolis, as they began to devour the defenseless civilians who could not defend themselves...
