Chapter 31

“Do you have the ring?” Theo asked anxiously and Blaise straightened his collar and tie.

“For the third time, yes,” Blaise chuckled, stepping back to make sure he had tied Theo’s tie correctly. Theo turned to look in the mirror.

“Okay, that looks better,” he said, “Thank you.”

“No problem mate,” Blaise said, “You ready?”

“Yes, yes,” Theo said anxiously.

“Hey, calm down, enjoy today,” Blaise instructed, “You’re not nervous are you?”

“No, I just want everything to go well, she deserves to have a perfect day,” Theo said, shaking his hands out to the side.

“So do you,” Blaise said, “And it will be perfect.”

“You’re right,” Theo nodded and took a deep breath, “Okay, let’s go.”

Blaise nodded and followed Theo out of the room. The pair made their way over to the garden outside of Theo’s mansion where they were holding the wedding. The guests were taking their seats. Blaise spotted Harry sitting next to Neville and Luna.

Blaise and Theo made their way up to the front where the altar was. They had a small wedding party. Just Blaise for the groomsmen and Daphne for the bridesmaid.

There were light colored flowers surrounding the venue. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, and there were even hummingbirds flying around the flowers.

Blaise took his place behind Theo’s shoulder as they waited for the music to begin. They didn’t have to wait long before a beautiful melody of pianos and violins filled the air. Daphne appeared, wearing a satin blush pink dress that matched the overall colors of the garden. She walked slowly up the isle holding her bouquet of beautiful flowers.
Blaise chanced a glance over to Seamus to see him staring in awe. Blaise had a feeling that there was something growing between the pair.

Soon enough, Daphne reached the front and took her place across from the two boys. The music changed slightly, and the guests took that as a cue to stand. Pansy appeared, wearing a flawless white dress. It had elements of the traditional pureblood style while also incorporating more modern styles that flattered her figure.

Her hair was done in loose curls that fell far down her back and she had a lengthy and elegant veil to match. Blaise looked over at Theo, and saw him absolutely lovestruck by the sight of his almost wife.

Pansy gave a soft smile as she was escorted by her father up the isle. Her father hadn’t joined with Voldemort the second time, and therefore was not in Azkaban like so many of Blaise’s other friends.

She made her way up, and handed the flowers to Daphne. Her father handed her off to Theo with an approving smile.

“You’re beautiful,” Blaise heard Theo whisper before the officiant began speaking. He smiled softly and took a small step back to give them some more privacy.

They read their vows that they had prepared for the past few months. Blaise had not been privy to Pansy’s, but he had helped Theo revise his several times. Then, Blaise dutifully supplied the ring for Theo to put on Pansy’s finger.

“I do.”

“I do.”

“You may kiss the bride,” the officiant said. Blaise clapped along with the rest of the crowd as Theo took Pansy in gently by the waist to give her the sealing kiss. Blaise’s eyes traveled over to Harry who was already looking at him, with a smile on his face. Blaise knew their own relationship had a little ways to go before they could talk about marriage, but he’d be lying if he said he didn’t think about it everyday. Blaise couldn’t imagine spending his life with anyone else. He knew he wanted Harry, and only Harry.

Soon enough, Blaise was escorting Daphne down the aisle behind Theo and Pansy as the guests cheered. The reception would start in the Nott Manor ballroom after dinner. Blaise waited just inside of the door for Harry.

Harry looked around as he entered the large hall. He saw a familiar face from the side.

“Hello love, you look dashing,” Blaise greeted, taking Harry’s hand and kissing it. Harry laughed.

“You look rather handsome yourself,” Harry said, taking Blaise’s chin to give him a real kiss. It was only a peck, as they were in public, and neither of them were the biggest fan of public displays of affection.

“Shall we?” Blaise asked, offering his arm. Harry nodded and took it.

“That was a beautiful service,” Harry commented as they entered the ballroom and headed to the head table. The room was decorated with flowers similar to the garden, white table clothes, and fairy lighting. People milled about, sipping champagne and chatting.

“It was,” Blaise agreed. They both plucked a champagne glass off of a nearby table.

“Mr. Potter,” Harry heard from behind him. He turned to see none other than Draco Malfoy approaching him. Astoria was looking beautiful

“Mr. Malfoy,” Harry said cordially. He hadn’t spoken to the blonde in years, but they had met at the Ministry.

“I wanted to reintroduce myself,” Malfoy said, “I know that in school we were rather at odds, but a lot has changed since then. I should start by first apologizing for my… childish antics from school.”

“No need,” Harry waved him off, “I understand that we were young, foolish. I should also apologize, it definitely wasn’t one sided.”

Malfoy nodded once, “You made quite the impression at the Ministry.”

“Ah… yes I suppose I did,” Harry said awkwardly. He wasn’t sure how Malfoy felt about what had been said.

“Well, I for one am happy that the Ministry is aligning with you, I’m glad you’re someone who isn’t afraid to speak up to certain people,” Malfoy said.

“I wasn’t sure if the Ministry would even want my help afterwards,” Harry admitted.

“We did, we just had to get the old man out of the building first,” Malfoy said with a light laugh, “I don’t want to take up too much of your time, but I did want to come over to let you know that the Ministry has started an investigation into him.”

“For what exactly?” Harry inquired.

“Hermione Granger is leading an inquiry on his unauthorized use of finances of the school as well as some particular students,” Malfoy said, “And Ronald Weasley is leading an auror investigation into his actions regarding you and the events surrounding the end of the last war.”

“Hermione and Ron are?” Harry asked in surprise.

“Yes, they seemed quite adamant about being involved,” Malfoy nodded, “Additionally, due to recent findings, Kingsley is leading an investigation into the case of Sirius Black to see if the allegations lately have any truth.”

“Wow,” Harry said breathlessly, not really sure what to say. It was so much more than he had expected. He hadn’t thought that Ron or Hermione had really even believed him, much less decided to go out of their way into figuring out what had happened.

“I’m speaking for the Wizengamot, but also just as myself when I say that I’m sorry if any injustices have occurred and that if they have, that it’s taken so long to deal with them. The Ministry is putting its full efforts into making this right,” Malfoy said firmly.

“Well thank you,” Harry said.

“We will keep you updated, have a good rest of your evening,” Malfoy said, and then swept away with Astoria. Harry turned to Blaise. He didn’t even have words.

“I don’t know what to say,” Harry said, “I’ll think about that tomorrow.”

“Sounds like a plan,” Blaise said, “But that is really good news.”

Harry nodded. The pair was next intercepted by Seamus and Dean.

“So Seamus, when are you going to ask her out?” Blaise asked. Harry followed his gaze to see him looking at Daphne across the room. He smiled softly. There always seemed to be a stronger connection between the two. He hadn’t missed Daphne glancing at Seamus more than once during the ceremony.

“Yeah mate, that’s what I’ve been telling you,” Dean ribbed.

“Look, it’s intimidating,” Seamus said.

“You’re a Gryffindor,” Blaise said in disbelief.

“I don’t know if she likes me,” Seamus complained.

“She definitely does,” Harry replied.

“Tonight, you should ask her to dance,” Blaise said.

“I second that,” Dean chimed in. Seamus looked like he was about to argue but then there was a clinking of glasses that indicated the meal was about to begin. They bid goodbye and made their way to their seats.

Blaise pulled out Harry’s chair for him and helped him in. Harry managed to actually keep down the blush at this, but not without a struggle. He was getting more and more used to Blaise’s sweet acts to them, but they never failed to send butterflies through his stomach. Every time, he fell more and more in love with him.

“We’d like to thank you all for coming today,” Theo stood to announce, “I know we’re all very hungry so I’ll keep my speech short. I have been in love with Miss Pansy Parkinson since I was eleven and I am beyond blessed to be able to say that I am now in love with Mrs. Pansy Nott. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with you, I love you, forever.”

Pansy pulled him down into a kiss before he could continue and the crowd cheered. Food appeared on everyone’s plates and they all dug in. The champagne in their glasses replenished and the desserts came out on floating silver platters.

When the meal was over, the guests stood and the tables vanished. A band set up in the corner and played a song as the guests cleared the middle of the floor and the lights dimmed significantly.

Theo and Pansy made their way out to the floor for the first dance. Harry felt Blaise slip an arm around his waist. It made him feel warm. But that also could have been due to the champagne. They watched as the couple swayed, lost in their own world. Harry almost felt tears come to his eyes when Pansy laid her head on Theo’s shoulder. They looked so serene and in love, and it was beautiful.

Soon enough, the first dance was over and other couples politely made their way out to the dance floor.

“Would you like to dance?” Blaise offered.

“I would,” Harry said, accepting his hand. They found a spot on the floor and interlocked one set of their hands. Harry’s other hand rested on Blaise’s upper arm, while Blaise’s arm rested on Harry’s waist. “I should tell you that I’m not the best dancer.”

“Well good thing, that we’re just swaying,” Blaise said, “But I can lead.”

“I’ve never been to a wedding before,” Harry told him.

“I haven’t been to many,” Blaise said, “Purebloods don’t typically invite children and these are the first of our friends to marry. I didn’t know Luna and Neville before they married.”

“I wish I had been here for theirs. And for Ron and Hermione’s, and Remus’s.”  Harry said wistfully, “But I’m happy that I’m getting to know them all now.”

“Remus and Tonks are wonderful,” Blaise said. They’d had dinner last week with them, and they’d all gotten along swimmingly.

“They really are,” Harry said with a smile, “I love Teddy too.”

“Do you want kids?” Blaise asked.

“I haven’t thought about it a lot,” Harry admitted, “I think maybe it would be nice? I don’t know though,  I’m not sure I would be the best parent.”

“I think you would be an amazing parent, if you wanted that,” Blaise said.

“Do you?” Harry asked, “Want children I mean?”

“I think so, at some point,” Blaise said. Harry felt warm again. It felt nerve-wracking to be talking about the future like this, but there was no one else that he’d rather talk about it with.

After some more dancing, the pair took a break to sit and drink some more champagne. They laughed with Neville and Luna. They pointed out Seamus and Daphne who were holding each other on the dance floor, swaying to the slow music. Harry grinned at the sight.

“Now for the fun part,” Dean announced as the lights dimmed even more and the older crowd began to file out.

“What?” Harry asked.

“It’s an unofficial tradition for there to be a more… upbeat part of the evening once the older population all heads home,” Blaise explained.

“Now we get to party,” Dean clarified. Harry laughed. Sure enough, the band stopped and the room was filled with music playing over some speaker system. The group headed back out to the dance floor where Theo and Pansy were.

They all danced and drank together for several more hours. Harry was having so much fun. It was nothing like at the club where the focus was all sex and drugs. Yes, they were all drinking, but they were having wholesome fun. They were dancing and laughing and having a good time.

After a while, Harry’s feet grew tired. He made his way over to sit down at the edge of the dance floor, still breathing hard but smiling through it. He watched as Blaise and Theo danced together, in some sort of dance battle with Pansy and Daphne. Most of the others had left already, it was only them, and Seamus and Dean remaining.

Eventually, Blaise noticed Harry watching him and made his way over.

“Hello love,” Blaise said, “See something you like?”

“I see a lot that I like,” Harry said boldly, looking him up and down.

“Is that right?” Blaise said.

“Mmhmm,” Harry purred.

“Are you ready to go home?” Blaise said with a voice full of desire.

Harry nodded and stood, stumbling slightly. Blaise caught him, but Harry could tell that he was a little unsteady as well. They both broke into laughter. They straightened up and Blaise kissed him.

The kiss grew fiery fast, fueled by passion and alcohol. Neither of them were too far gone, but they definitely weren’t sober.

“Okay, we need to leave,” Harry gasped out before they could go any further. Blaise nodded, they quickly bid Pansy and Theo goodbye, and they left the room. The corridors were dark, and the couple had a hard time finding their way to the fireplace. They also found themselves… distracted to say the least.

Harry was pinned up against the wall with his hands being held above his head with one of Blaise’s hands. Blaise had a thigh between Harry’s legs and was grinding down hard. Their mouths moved against one another passionately. Harry was a moaning mess. He couldn’t think with the way that Blaise was completely surrounding him. He felt himself reaching the edge embarrassingly quickly. He didn’t even care where they were anymore. His moans reached a higher pitch.

“Baby, sounds like you’re close already,” Blaise murmured teasingly, “Do you wanna come for me?”

“Please, Blaise-” He cut off as Blaise pressed down on him again.

“Are you gonna come here in the hallway?” Blaise asked, egging him on, “Come baby, and I’ll take you home and have you again.”

“Yes please,” Harry begged louder, “Please.”

“Gotta be quiet sweetheart,” Blaise told him, Harry wasn’t really listening. He was so close. Blaise put his free hand gently over Harry’s mouth. This only drove Harry crazier.

“Come for me love,” Blaise said. Harry went over the edge immediately. He arched against Blaise and moaned into his hand. Blaise held him close, helping him stay upright when he came down. “So beautiful baby.”

Harry tried to catch his breath. He found that his desire had not dissipated and the lustful looks that Blaise was giving him made him feel like he wanted more. Blaise cast a cleaning spell, which Harry appreciated.

“We need to go home,” Harry croaked, sounding absolutely wrecked.

“I agree,” Blaise almost growled.

The pair made their way to the fireplace, actually finding it this time, feeling slightly more sober now.

They were both naked before they made it to Blaise’s bed. Blaise lubricated Harry and stretched him quickly, and in no time, Harry was hard again, begging for Blaise.

Blaise flipped him over and Harry pushed up onto his knees and elbows. They both loved this position. Blaise slid in and immediately hit the right spot in Harry. They found a quick rhythm with Harry rocking back to meet Blaise’s thrusts.

“So good baby,” Blaise panted. Harry couldn’t even speak, too full of pleasure. He wasn’t even sure if he could come again so soon, but it sure felt like he was barreling towards the edge again. He grasped at the bedsheets for something to hold onto.

He tried to reach under himself, but Blaise batted his hands away. He put his hand on him instead and started pulling him off. Harry’s eyes rolled to the back of his head.

“Can you come again for me baby?” Blaise asked. Harry whined out a moan, overwhelmed in all of the good ways, “Can you be such a good boy for me?”

In no time, Harry felt his stomach tighten. His vision went white. He released all over the bed beneath them and shuddered hard, collapsing, so that Blaise had to hold him up. He barely registered Blaise coming in him. He felt like he was floating way outside of his body. It felt like he came forever.

Finally he came down.

“Did that feel good baby?” Blaise asked, running his hand through his hair. Harry nodded, still unable to speak, and buried his face in Blaise’s chest. He noted that he was all cleaned up again and covered in a blanket. He was trembling lightly, as always. He still felt pleasure coursing through his whole body but it was mild now. He held onto Blaise tightly, needing to feel close.

“Harry, are you alright?” Blaise asked, concerned. Normally it didn’t take this long for him to respond. Harry nodded.

“I think,” he croaked against Blaise’s chest,  “You literally just fucked me out of my own body.”

Blaise chuckled and ran his hand up and down Harry’s back soothingly.

“You’re okay though?” he checked one more time.

“Yes, so good,” Harry assured him and then yawned. He snuggled in again. Blaise might have kept talking to him but he fell asleep within seconds, happy and content.
