Pov. Sirius
Sirius was shocked.
He would have never expected this.
Literally anything but this.
He just couldn’t believe it.
He had decided to follow James tonight because he was sick of his lie’s. Maybe that was wrong and he should accept James‘ privacy but he had been dying to know who James was meeting. And he hadn’t wanted to wait for James to tell him after all this time. He had just wanted to finally know.
But this was nothing like what he had imagined.
He had thought that maybe James was dating lily. And they weren’t ready to tell anyone.
But no.
It was regulus.
His baby brother.
They were sitting there and they were snuggling.
James Potter was snuggling his brother.
How could he.
Sirius would kill him.
It really took him every bit of self control to not just run out of his hiding spot and hit James.
Oh Merlin this was bad. It was so bad he didn’t even know what to do now. He could tell Remus but for that he would actually have to speak it out and then he maybe would throw up.
But if he didn’t he would go crazy.
But if he confronted James he would have to admit that he had been following him. And then James would be mad. Why hadn’t he just waited for James to tell him? Why had he been so Impatient?
Sirius quietly got up, carefully so they wouldn’t hear him. He slowly made his way back to the dorm. He had absolutely no idea what to do now.
The long corridors were so quiet that Sirius thoughts seemed so incredibly loud. He couldn’t stop them. He was mad at James and regulus and himself too. It was horrible.
As he finally reached the dorm he immediately laid down in his bed.
He knew he would not get a minute of sleep this night.
But maybe that’s what you get.
