He’s going to hate me
His parents had decided that it was time for him to get the dark mark.
Now, that Sirius was gone he had become the new heir of the Black family. It was his responsibility to take the mark. All because Sirius had made it out.
Many times Regulus had wished that Sirius would still be here. It was selfish and he knew that. He wanted Sirius to be happy but why did he have to leave him behind.
Regulus knew that his brother had hated him anyway, already before he had left. But they had to be a team to survive their parents. Now Regulus was alone, there was no one at home who like him at least a little bit.
So when they told Regulus about the news he had been furious, he tried to argue with them but they insisted. And no one was there to help him.
The dark lord was already on his way. Regulus didn’t know what to do. He was helpless.

When Voldemort arrived the death eaters, he had brought with him, had a long discussion first. Regulus wasn’t aloud to attend it.
He was forced to sit in his room. He hated this room so much, he hated everything about this life so much.
Everything and everyone with one exception. James. But James wasn’t here, he couldn’t help him with what was about to happen.
Regulus held back tears, oh James would hate him when he got the dark mark but James couldn’t hate him because he was the only one that regulus had left. He had his Sirius but he left him because he hated him too.
Because he was absolutely unlovable.
Regulus wanted to be mad at him but how could he? How could anyone love him? He didn’t even deserve love.
The only person that loved him was James and now he would lose him too. Regulus let out a small sob. How he hated his life. And he couldn’t even do anything about it. The door the Reggie’s room opened and his mother looked at him with so much hatred that it made him shiver.
“ The dark lord is ready to meet you now.” That was all she said.
She turned around and began to walk down to stares. Regulus let out a shaky breath. Then he got up and followed her.
