Harry Had a Horrendous Childhood With the Dursleys, Being Psychicaly, verbally and emotionally abused By All Dursley family members.
He was forced to cook at a young age and has multiple burn scars from cooking when extremely young.
He did all the house work.
And was barley given enough food and water to survive,
He has lots of scars from Vernon beating him, Dudley pushing him into sharp objects and Petunia hitting him with cooking utensils.
But Harry was more intelligent than the Dursleys, and was able to Picklocks to escape his cubord to steal food that they wouldn't notice was gone(healthy Food) steal small amounts of money to buy Bottles of water, He had even made a chace Of food, water and money under the floorboards in case of emergencies.
Harry had to learn to protect himself against the Dursleys and other kids at school so he started exercising and Going to the library to read book and even watch self defence Videos on their computers.
And then next time Vernon Tries to beat Harry he kicks him in the dick and then smashed a chair over his back.
And when bullies confronted him he beat them up.
Since then he was left alone by the Dursleys and the other kids but he was glad to be left alone.
When Harry sees Ron bulling Hermione he isn't his friend anymore and becomes her and Neville's friend instead.
(With his life at the Dursleys Harry is darker, he is still a good person who would never hurt innocent people for sick pleasure, But he is ruthless to his enemies,bullies and People who harm his loved ones)
