Chapter 1

Standing by platform 9¾, a person was holding a simple bag in hand, a black cat peaking its head out. The person stared blankly ahead at the wall from across from  them.
"It's the same every year! Packed with muggles of course."
The persons eyes slightly shift to the direction of the voice before facing straight forward once more.
"Come on, platform 9¾ this way!"
Their eyes shift as a family approaches them, three familiar people sticking out to them.
"Oh, is that [Name] I see?" The two twins in the family speak up at the same time. "Hello [Name]." The older sibling of the group nods at them.

"[Name]? So this was the young lad(y) you three were talking about so much." The mother walks up to [Name], holding her hand out to them. "It's so nice to meet you! My name is Molly Weasley." [Name] takes her hand, giving it a small shake then letting go. "The youngest one here," Molly gestures to the little girl clinging to her side, "Is Ginny. That one over there is Ron, and you already know Percy, Fred, and George. Those three boys sure do love you, they say so many positive things about you."

"It is nice to meet you, Mrs. Weasley" Their eyes remain blank, speaking in a monotone voice as they stare at the lady before them.
A quiet scoff is heard,
"I never said that much about them."
The mother turns to the eldest, "Oh, hush now, Percy. No need to be embarrassed."

"As much as I would like to continue this conversation, it would be best to get a move on. The train leaves soon."

"Ah, you always were such a stick in the mud, [Last Name]. Fear not, by the end of this year we'll have you rolling on the floor with laughter."
"Or from something else-"

"All right boys, they're right. It's time to go, you'll have enough time to catch up on the train. [Name], would you like to go first?" In response, [Name] shakes their head 'no' and moves to the side. "Alright Percy, you first." Molly beckons the boy over, Percy spares [Name] a small glance before running straight into the wall and disappearing.
"Alright Fred, you next." Molly points to the twin on the left.

"He's not Fred, I am!"
"Honestly woman, you call yourself our mother."

"Oh, sorry George."

Fred moves his cart in front of the wall, "I'm only joking. I am Fred." He says to his mother before running into the wall, George following right behind him.

"Excuse me!" Everyone turns to the voice, seeing a boy with circular glass lens pushing a cart of his luggage up to the group. "C-could you tell me.. how to get to wh-"
Molly walks up to the boy, gently placing her hand on his shoulder "How to get onto the platform? Not to worry, dear." She then points towards Ron. "It's Ron's first time to Hogwarts as well." She then gestures to the wall that the previous three ran into, "Now all you've got to do is walk straight at the wall between platforms 9 and 10. Best to do it at a bit of a run if you're nervous."
"Good luck." Ginny pipes up as the boy moves his cart.

"I could hold your hand through it if that helps." [Name] tells him.

He looks over at them, their radiating beauty and clashing piercing stare intimidating him. "Ah- uhm, no thanks." He averts his eyes, his face flushing a bit at their question. He takes a breath in before running straight towards the wall and disappearing as well.

"Are you ready Ron?" Molly turns to her last child left to leave, who nods at her. Ron positions his cart in front of the wall before dashing towards it and disappearing.

"It was nice meeting you, [Name]. Have fun at Hogwarts and please do try to keep my boys out of trouble. Oh, and if you don't mind, please help Ron around if he needs it. I doubt Fred and George will, and Percy will most likely be too busy."

"Will do, Mrs. Weasley. Goodbye."

"Molly is just fine!-"
Is the last thing [Name] hears as they walk into the wall and vanish. Once appearing on the other side, they are met with the sight of a giant red train, Ron and the glasses boy loading up their stuff into the train just up ahead.
[Name] enters the train and walks down the aisle, looking for a open seat. "Hey [Name]! Over here!" They turn around, seeing the heads of Fred and George peaking out from one of the compartments. [Name] wordlessly walks up to them causing the two to cheer and hold the compartment door wider.
The train then sets off.

"What do you think we should do when we get there?"
"Plant another dungbomb in one of the classrooms?"
"-Or better yet, plant one in the Slytherin common room."
"We can try to make some first years try our new concoction."
"We haven't even come up with one yet."
Fred and George keep going back and forth with ideas, until they suddenly turn to their Ravenclaw friend, also known as their secret accomplice. "What do you think, [Name]?"

[Name] stays silent, trying to think of something to satisfy the two twins. "..We could fake an infiltration, maybe a troll?..Swap out Snapes ingredients. Replace the water for baths and such with spiders.." [Name] continues to list out pranks (that are admittedly a little too far- but when did Fred and George ever care?), the twins soon joining in with them on the endless possibilities of what war crimes they could commit within the school walls.

After a bit, [Name] stands up from their seat beside Lee, their bag in hand. "Where are you going, [Name]?"
"To change."
Being satisfied with that answer, no one tries to stop them from leaving.
While walking down the aisle, a girl walks up to them. "Excuse me, have you seen a toad anywhere?"

"Apologies, I have not." [Name] brushes past the girl and continues their way to the bathrooms. The girl, Hermione, stares shocked at how quick they were to leave. But she couldn't help but swoon slightly at their rather attractive features, although that attitude was a bit of a turn off.
After [Name] was done, they were headed back to the compartment they were sharing with Fred, George, and Lee until they walked past the girl looking for a toad and a voice coming from within the compartment she stood in front of,"-Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow. Turn this stupid fat rat yellow."
The girl smirks at the boy who tried casting a spell, "Are you sure that's a real spell? Well, it's not very good, is it?" The two boys inside the compartment glance at each other as the girl continues speaking. "Of course, I've only tried a few simple ones myself... But they've all worked for me."

"Are you three casting spells?" The sudden voice coming from behind Hermione caused her to let out a small yelp and turn around, the two boys behind her letting out a small gasp. [Name] scans the faces of the first years before finally settling on the glasses boy, or well specifically, his glasses. "May I join you three?"
Without a word, the girl moves to the side, allowing the upperclassman in. [Name] bends down slightly to the brown haired boys height, taking out their wand and pointing it at his glasses. "Oculus Reparo." Immediately, the previously broken glasses on his face were repaired, causing him to take them off his face and stare at them in amazement.
Being satisfied, [Name] finally sat down across from him. [Name] looks at the older student, feeling a bit nervous and flustered, before sitting next to them, across from Ron.
The brown haired boy glances at Ron, Ron staring back in amazement as well, before looking back down at his glasses and putting them back onto his face.

"Holy cricket, you're Harry Potter! I'm Hermione Granger. And you are...?" Hermione looks at Ron.
"I'm Ron Weasley." He answers, stuffing his face with snacks.
"Pleasure." Hermione glances towards the person beside her expectantly and a bit too excitedly.
"I'm [Name] [Last Name]"
"It is nice to meet you," Hermione nods towards them before glancing at the two boys across from them.
"You two better changes into robes. I expect we'll be arriving soon." Hermione stands up from her seat and walks out of the compartment, but before fully leaving she turns around. "You've got dirt on your nose, by the way. Did you know? Just there." She points to a spot on her own nose.

Ron furrows his brows as he rubs at his nose, cuing Hermione to leave.
"You missed it." [Name] leans forward, rubbing at his nose for him. Rons face turns a bit red, both from the proximity and embarrassment. Once it was clean, [Name] sat back down. "You two should change now."

Ron sets down the snacks he was eating before standing up and leaving, Harry following after. But before fully leaving, Harry turns to [Name], "You can have whatever you want from the snack pile, I bought plenty."
"Oh, and can you watch my pet rat for me?" Ron suddenly pops up behind Harry.
[Name] nods their head, watching as both Harry and Ron disappear down the corridor. Now turning to look down at their bag, a soft mew was heard, causing them to fully open the bag revealing their cat. Softly petting the cats back, they glance at the rat eating out of one of the snack containers before turning to look outside the window. "Soon, Schmoopie. Soon.."

Long after, the train finally comes to a stop. All Hogwarts students boarding off. "Right, then. First years, this way, please!" A voice calls out.
"I guess this is where we part-" Harry and Ron turn around, only to see that [Name] has gone missing. "Oh.." Harry feeling slightly dejected, looks at Ron with a questioning look, asking silently if he knows where they went, Ron merely shrugging in response. "We'll probably see them around. They're a bloody eye catcher after all."
"Come on, now, first years, don't be shy. Come on now, hurry up."

"[Name]! There you are. Had us quite worried."
George wraps his arms around [Names] shoulder, Fred copying him on the other side of them.
"Thought you got eatin' up by a troll."
"Troll? A troll couldn't fit in the train!"
"Have you ever tried to.."
"Who would.."
Their voices grow quiet as they head towards the school with the rest of their grade.

Sitting at the Ravenclaw table, [Name] watches the newly first years of Hogwarts walk down the aisle, Professor Mcgonagall leading them towards the front of the room where the sorting hat sat. Finally arriving at the front of the room, Professor Mcgonagall stops and turns to the crowd of first years. "All right, will you wait along here, please?" The students do as she says and stops right at the steps. "Now, before we begin.. Professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words."

On stage was a long table, all of Hogwarts professors were sat at it. The man in the middle of the table sitting in the fanciest chair, rose to his feet. "I have a few start-of-term notices I wish to announce. The first years, please note... that the Dark Forest is strictly forbidden to all students. Also, our caretaker, Mr. Filch, has asked me to remind you... that the third-floor corridor on the right hand side is out of bounds.. to everyone who does not wish to die a most painful death. Thank you."

"Now when I call your name, you will come forth." Mcgonagall speaks, putting the attention back on her. "I shall place the Sorting Hat on your head.." She lifts the hat up for display, "And you will be sorted into your houses." She then looks at the list in her hand, "Hermione Granger." Mcgonagall calls out. The female student walks up and sits down on the stool, Mcgonagall places the hat on her head and after a bit of murmuring, finally calls out "Gryffindor!"
The Gryffindor table cheers as Hermione gets off the stool and sits at her houses table.

"Draco Malfoy."
The blonde sits down at the stool and with the hat barely touching him, it immediately calls out "Slytherin!"
The Slytherin cheer as Draco walks towards their table.

More and more students get called up. Eventually, Harry Potter was called up, causing the room to go silent. Murmurs were heard around the room. [Name] being able to hear a few of their Ravenclaw housemates whispering about how they hope he ends up in their house.
After a long while of quietly whispering to each other, the Sorting Hat finally calls out "Gryffindor!" Causing the Gryffindor house to cheer and the rest of the houses to be filled with disappointment.
Once the cheering died down and the rest of the students were called and sorted, Professor Mcgonagall sat down allowing the students to chatter a bit before grabbing one of her utensils and tapping it against the glass. "Your attention, please."
Dumbledore then stands up, "Let the feast begin."

The room is immediately filled with chatter as food appears on the table, "I came from a muggle family-"
"Hey, do you think it looks weird when I do this?-"
"That person over there looks like a used towel-"
Senseless chatter filled [Names] ears while they stared at the food before them until their eyes landed on a delicious looking rotisserie chicken. "May someone pass me the-" [Name] attempted to get one of their housemates attention to pass over the food but no one paid them any mind. Sitting there silently, [Name] contemplated their next action before going for it. Reaching over the table, [Name] grabs the entire rotisserie chicken with one hand and drops it onto their own plate. The Ravenclaw members around them stare mouth agape at such a bold move.
"Did they seriously just- AH!" A ghost appears in front of the face of the Ravenclaw house member, scaring them into falling off their seat causing those around them to laugh at the comedic display.

Over at the Gryffindor table, Harry sat between Hermione and Percy, Ron and the Weasley twins sitting across from them. "Say, Percy, who's that teacher talking to Professor Quirrell?" Harry points over at one of the teachers. Percy leans over to see who he's pointing at, "Oh, thats Professor Snape, head of Slytherin house." He answers.
"What's he teach?"
"Potions. But everyone knows, its the Dark Arts he fancies. He's been after Quirrell's job for years."
Harry takes one last glance before calling out to Percy again. "And.. who are they? [Name], I mean." Harry points over to the Ravenclaw table this time.
Percy merely glances up from his food before looking back down, "[Name] [Last Name], a Ravenclaw student. But you already knew that. Not much to be said really, the only thing noteworthy is their lack of expression. Not once have I seen them smile or frown, even when George and Fred were messing with them."

"Nothin' to worry bout', Potter. We'll get them to crack eventually."
"Oh!" Fred leans into Georges ear, whispering something to him.
Seeing them being preoccupied and Percy having gone back to eat, Harry decided to just leave it at that and continue eating as well.

Once the feast was over, each house was lead out of the dining hall by their prefects.
"Gryffindors, follow me please. Keep up. Thank you."
"Ravenclaw, follow me. This way."
The Gryffindor students head up the stairs while the Ravenclaw separate off by going down stairs.

After their prefect answered the riddle, all students were allowed into the Ravenclaw common room and were sorted into their rooms. [Name] laid down their bag on the bed, their cat jumping out of it and immediately rolling around on it. [Name] sat down beside their cat on the bed, causing him to get up and sit in their lap, purring and begging for attention.
