Chapter 7
After the conversation
Izuku's POV
Ever since Zira told us everything about her mother I've been having a hard time accepting it. The thought that the girl I thought was my sister was practically my second mom.
If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be here. She gave me the best childhood I could get and I will forever be grateful to her. I know I can't get those years back, but I'll do my best not to let it stop me from having a good future.
I knew that what I know now won't change my feelings for Zira but it will make me love her more. I know that she lost everything together and forced herself to grow up quickly to have a good childhood. Zira is my Angel Guide and without her I would not be who I am today.
The next day
After an unpleasant start, the first week off from school has begun. I suspect that Zira mo something planned for us and will probably drag Shota into it. I know he could use a break from work and time to relax.
It's bound to happen because I can see that even though they've only known each other for not quite two days they care about each other. Zira has this aura to her that attracts people to her no matter what their character. When I went downstairs I saw Zira and Shota talking while preparing breakfast together. I smiled at them
''Good morning'' I called out
''Good morning Izuku/Izu'' they said at the same time and looked at each other. Zi turned her attention back to me
'' Izu be a good boy and wake up Eri. When you come down I will tell you our dlan of action for the four of us. Yes you too Shota. Tell me honestly when was the last time you were on vacation or had a break longer than two days. From what I honestly know from Izuku you didn't even take a break to rest after the Nomu event. Don't try to argue with me, because you won't succeed," she said seriously, looking at him when he tried to object.
He nodded his head accepting defeat knowing that he would not be able to change her mind. After this crude pre-statement I went to wake up Our Angel and when I entered her room I almost had a heart attack because of how adorable she looked. I quietly approached her bow and sat down okob her
'' Wake up Princess it's time to get up. Aunt Zira and Shota made breakfast'' I said shaking her delicately and after a while she opened her eyes. She yawned charmingly
''Good morning Daddy,'' she said
''Good morning Honey,'' I replied and pulled her out of the bed. I went to the bathroom picked out her clothes and we went down to breakfast.
After we ate and cleaned up we went to the living room to hear the plan of action. I sat on the couch with Eri on my lap with Shota and Zira sat in the chair across from us. After a moment of silence she spoke up
'' I planned this week as a time to relax and take a break from studying and training. For this I have planned a trip to London and New York. We will spend there 3 days each and so Shota is coming with us, as I said we have already booked hotels and today at 5:00 p.m. I have arranged a portkey " she said
" So it's now 11:30 in the morning so you have about 5 hours to pack and don't worry about Nezu because I sent a message about your leaving with us. This is the time for the two of you to relax and have a nice and quiet time. In the second week you can train as much as you want and I will help you with that '' she said and we nodded our heads. Shota said he had to go pack and would be back in no time, so Zira said she would drive him and Shota agreed.
Shota's POV
When Izuku suggested I meet Zira I thought nothing of it. I thought I would talk to her and we would go our separate ways. I didn't expect to see a smart responsible and strong young woman who by some miracle always puts her best foot forward.
She had a very difficult event at a young age but she is not living in the past but pulling ahead not only for her but also for Izuku and Eri. What I didn't expect most was that I was drawn into their vacation. She is right I rarely take a break and this may be useful for me.
It gives me an opportunity to gain more trust with Zira and let her lean on me so she knows she is not alone in this. I honestly didn't expect such a turn of events when I learned of such a change in my life.
I was pulled out of my thoughts by her bos
'' A penny for your thought'' she asked gently
''Nothing serious. I promise just thinking about what happened in the last 48 hours'' I said with a deep breath. I heard a humming from her
''What can I say Shota. Life is full of surprises'' she said and I nodded my head in agreement. We managed to gather what we needed for our trip a little quickly and headed back to her house.
When we returned there were three walis sitting outside the room and Eri and Izuku were watching TV. Suddenly I felt something rubbing against my leg and saw Snow rubbing her head against my leg.
I stroked her behind the ear and went to the living room. I sat down on the sofa and she put her head on my leg for me to continue petting her when suddenly Night appeared on my other side and cuddled into me.
I took the pointer and started stroking him, too, and not long after that Zira called us for lunch. When we finished we still had half an hour to travel portkey so we checked to make sure we had everything.
After checking that we had everything and that everything in the house was secured our portkey arrived 5 minutes before 5:00 p.m. and when it was time we headed on our way to London.
