The start of A new Life
The last time Harry ever saw the dursleys he was five. The first time Harry experienced true warmth and truly loved was when he was removed from a rather toxic environment and placed into a welcoming hug and home with his Godfather. A man he grew to love but had known nothing of.
Harry was six when he first started his lessons on both muggle and wizarding culture. Both taught by two different professors that would schedule for different times than together for the sake of little Harrys brain not over loading with information.
When harrys was seven Harry actually witnessed another child within his home. She was a young girl, by the name of Luna who taught him about Plants and creatures when her father was finished with Harrys wizarding lessons. She was a strange young girl but Harry liked her because she was as unique as he.
She had taught him how to read just a month before he had turned eight and forever he was grateful for the young loony girl. He had to admit she was the only child so they had become rather great friends because of this. They were basically the only ones the other was allowed to interact with. Harry felt alone when she was gone but always made up with it by playing Sirius.
When he had just turned eight Harry asked Sirius to teach him self defense. He was afraid that if he hadn't been taught how to properly ward off bullies then he would be harmed and that made him feel weak. Sirius agreed with the condition Harry not use it for bad and only for defense. Harry agreed and they had started out basic manuvers the first day it was just basic things. Within a week Harry had already accomplished disarming which sirius found was highly impressive for someone of his age. The first month went well it was only after the next year that Harry had started having trouble.
Since he had an outburst at eight Harry hadn't been able to control or withstand his own course of actions. Therefore it landed him in the care of the elves and a nurse from St.Mungos when he had injured his leg and splintered it on accident. From then on Harry was banned from combat untill he learn to control his emotions. Which hadn't gone very well and Harry ended up back in St.Mungos just a few days after he was released.
Eventually Sirius gave up on trying to have him control his emotions and tried his hardest to teach Harry wandless magic. Even though he wasn't as great a Wizard at it as Harry had been. With his extra help from spell casting classes and the knowledge he gained from his books he learned how to catch onto wandless Magic fairly easily.
Today Harry had just coaxed Sirius into training him again. He was to disarm his opponent which was no other than his Godfather.
"Again!" Sirius shouted as Harry fell to his knees, his hands gripping the grass beneath him. Sweat drenched his clothes, falling down his forehead as he panted in exhaustion. This had been going on for hours, when he said he wanted to train this morning he didn't mean being worked to the bone.
But then again This was Sirius and Harry laughed because of his own thoughts of taking it easy.
The sun was basically boring holes into his skin from how blazing hot it was outside and the breeze only made it worse because of the sweat that felt like glue on his skin. His clothes were sticking to him and rubbing together so much that it burned. He swears he'll see rashes later when he removes them. Though he hadn't really felt it because he was used to such.
Harry huffed swiping his sleeve across his forehead to remove the sweat beads. He took his stance again, his feet spread about two feet apart as he held his fists.
Harry grunted as he rushed at his Godfather. His hair swaying behind him as it blew through the wind. It had grown longer since the last time he was at the dursleys. nearly reaching just above his shoulders. He was in long due for a hair cut but they'd just never gotten to it. Sirius threw a spell at him to which he quickly dodged. He threw another directed at Harrys legs and Harry jumped out of the way. He landed on Sirius, tackling him as he tried to get the wand away from his Godfather. That was another thing Harry had learned. He was a Magically induced Human. To be more specific, he was a Wizard.
He only realized this after his outburst of emotions. Sirius told him to gain control over them and it was found a useless tactic. He knew he'd be taught About the wizard world he just hadn't expected to actually be one. He only thought he was being taught because Sirius was part of the wizarding world. There were many things scorched, and alit by a spark of fire. Harry had fully expected Sirius to harm him or scream for his incompetence. Even though he'd lived with sirius for a while now, the things he was taught since birth were still hard to get rid of. As they say about Habits.
Sirius didn't yell or scream, he simply Hugged Harry and they started to train on how to control it after Sirius realized Harry had no intention of control over his own emotions because he knew it was completely useless. It was fairly easy to Harry, His mind didn't take long to comprehend what he was taught. yet when Sirius tried to help, he thought Harry had been purposely fucking up things. Which he had been. But Harry'd never admit to it. He'd turn his nose up in a funny way and say: "what are you talking nonsense of" in a hilariously posh way that the two laughed for moment still afterwards.
Harry laughed and wheezed as Sirius tickled his stomach. He rolled onto his side to hopefully get the hands off of him, but to his dismay, Sirius continued before he felt like he couldn't breath.
"S-stop Please." He shouted between laughs and gasps for air. Sirius smirked, sitting up on his knees and releasing Harry from his grasp with a laugh as he wiped his forehead with the back of his boney hands.
"You should be expecting such after an attack like that." He spoke with a chuckle.
"Yes sorry sorry." Harry huffed as he held his stomach, which twisted and turned with such pain he felt like he was going to explode. His throat was tightened for a second as he tried to breath.
"But I got your wand." He announced holding the wand he swiped from the other, a weak smug grin on his face. Sirius blinked in surprise before feeling around him. He held out his hand once realizing that it was indeed his wand and not a fake Harry had once used. Harry smiled triumphantly yet again as he handed it over and stood up.
He held his hand out for Sirius to take before shrugging when his help was declined not bothering to wipe his clothes down as he knew they were only going to get dirty again. Sirius pushed off the dirt, wiping off his clothes. He threw his arm around Harry, who was no more than half his height. He smiled down at the raven haired boy.
"Let's go eat lunch yeah?" Harrys eyes lit up as he started to run.
"Race yah there." Harrys shouted in excitement, glancing over his shoulder to Sirius. Sirius gave a laugh before darting after the kid. They reached the entrance of the garden, which is where they were training, before Harry was tackled into a bear Hug. His body Hunching over from the weight on his back as they stumbled through the glass doors that lead to the ground floor with a laugh. Harry smiled brightly as the arms that caged him in removed themselves. He felt a pat on his back and ruffle in his hair as he started running throughout the room to the Kitchen.
Harry made his way through the island counters. The sweat that soaked his clothes gone with the flick of his wrist. He nearly rammed his side into the sharp edges multiple times until he found Fickle, another house elf, Making Turkey sandwiches. Harry took one when he noticed a plate filled with many of them. He hummed as he waved off the elf and put away the ingredients Fickle used. Fickle obliged, taking the plate and apparating away to the other elves.
Harry walked back out after he was finished, a sandwich in hand and another in his mouth. He gestered for his Godfather to take it, which he happily did as an owl flew in. A piece of parchment in its claws as it swung down and sat on Sirius's shoulder. He hummed, taking the piece of parchment and removing the twine on it. His eyes widened as he coughed out in pain.
"Oh my Merlin are you okay?" Harry yelled in a panic and hit his godfather on the back, trying to stop the choking from happening. Sirius wheezed out a cough before nodding as he scanned over the Parchment again.
"Sorry. I just got some surprising news " Harry hummed unphased as he glanced over Sirius' arm to read the letter.
"Hmm. What's it about?" Harry asked as he glanced over the Parchment before another owl flew in and dropped a letter in front of him. He glanced down at it biting his sandwich and picking it up. His brows furrowed when he read to whom it was addressed to.
"I don't think this is addressed to us." Harry announced handing over the letter to his Godfather who only glanced down and smiled widely. He pushed the letter back into Harrys hold, who wore a confused expression with his brows furrowed.
"It is actually. You should open it." Harrys confusion deepened. His brows furrowed so close that it'd only seem as though he had one. He flipped the letter over and blinked at the recognizable "H" stamp into red wax. He ripped open the envelope of tea stained paper. His finger nearly getting sliced when he slid his hand underneath the strip of paper to open it. He quickly pulled out the folded piece of paper inside of it. His eyes widened when it was addressed to him. He scanned over it once then again before Sirius asked him to read it aloud.

Harry stared down at the Parchment, both hands clenching it tightly, so hard it crinkled and his knuckles started to turn white. He started to jump around in excitement as the kid he is. His eyes briming with excitement as he cheered and chanted the words: "I'm going to Hogwarts." Sirius laughed as Harrys chanting came to a stop as he quickly did a little childish dance and hugged him so tight he felt his guts wrre screaming to be let go. Sirius laughed back, hugging him as Harry suddenly gasped and pulled away frantically.
"Oh my God that's in a couple of Days! We still have to get everything and I have to go write a letter and–"
"James. Calm down!" Sirius shouted with a laugh, not realizing what he said. Harry blinked in surprise as he stared down Sirius in confusion and a smug grin on his face.
"You just called me James." Sirius stopped laughing as he rubbed the back of his neck. Harrys grin widened.
Every once in a while he'd do something to remind Sirius of James and on often many occasions you'll hear James being called instead of Harry. Harrys never mind. He always thought it was nice. It reminded him just who his father was. A reminder of who looked like and acted of.
"Sorry did I?" He asked with a sheepish Chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck as Harry gave a nod and hugged his torso again in a less menacing squeeze than before.
"It's fine though." Harry whispered with a smile before pushing off of Sirius and starting towards the stairs.
"Where are you going!" Sirius shouted as Harry was already half way up the flight of stairs.
"I'm writing my letter!" Harry shouted a reply as Sirius shook his head, and left him alone. Harry rushed around his classroom. It was the only room with Parchment and quills. Since it wasn't allowed in his room, only because of a very big mess he made when he was nine. He scrambled through the contents of his desk before giving a triumphant "aha!" At finding them. He grabbed the pot of ink atop the shelves and clambered back down. He sat down at the desk, not bothering to leave because he was to excited anyways. He just couldn't wait for Septemeber to come along.

Harry smiled as he wrote his name. He put the quill back into the ink as he headed downstairs with his letter. He wanted to show Sirius it to get a look over. He found Sirius in the base room staring out one of the windows. He quickly rushed over and down the final steps. Sirius turned around with a hum when he heard the sounds of footsteps. Harry eageredly handed over his letter to Sirius who was still in a bit of a daze. But still he gave a bright, small smile and read it over. Twirling his ring over his finger in the process.
Harry found this an anxious habit of his. Whenever Sirius was worried or in deep thought he'd do it. Without noticing of course. Harry pointed it out once or twice when he noticed but Sirius had always laughed it off so he didn't bother asking this time seeing as how Sirius would either ignore him or brush it off as nothing.
"Good God. Harry this is Horrible writing." Harry pouted, crossing his arms and turning away as Sirius gave a stiffled laugh. He placed his hand over his mouth as he read the terribly written letter.
"Okay this is fine. But all your 'R's are backwards and this is a mixture of something a child has written."
"I am a child." Harry pouted taking back the letter as Sirius laughed.
"I did forget that." He revealed, holding his hand up in surrender when Harry glared at him.
"Whatever. Is this okay to get sent to her?"
"I can't help you with your writing because they know mine. But yes this is a very acceptable letter." Harry happily took the letter farther into the manor. He headed to Sirius' office, his godfather a foot behind. He shoved open the door and made his way to the desk.
"You'd better use Twine. You don't have an envelope so the Wax would just be useless. " Harry sheepishly put the Wax back into the cabinet as he grabbed a simple piece of twine. He rolled up the note and tied it into a messy knot then handed it to Sirius owl. Then it left without a peep and they headed back down stairs to go train again
