Xmes: when can we come over?
Xmes: Lilsy and Harry want to meet you're new cat
Jame: we're free now
Lil person: we're meeting Altair?
Jame: yep
Jame: but you need to be careful. No sadden movements!! He is really young + he's been through a lot.
Reggie: he's traumatized
Xmes: we'll tell harry to be careful
Lil person: we're on our wayyyyy

Altair and the other cats are hiding in the cats' little cave (Sirius build it for them saying they should have some privacy, and, honestly, he's right) when Lily, Harry and Mary come through the door.
Harry is immediately running toward James, jumping into his arms.
"Mama said you have a new cat!" Harry says cheerfully.
"We do, but you need to be really careful with him, okay?"
"Yep"
Suddenly Harry jumped out of James' arms, running and flinging himself at Regulus. Regulus, who was caught off guard , stumbled backwards a few steps.
"Hello there, little guy" He chuckles as he hugs Harry.
Harry is Lily and Mary's son. He's four years old, and very cute. He fell in love with cats after meeting Orbit for the first time, and Orbit adopted him and since then he's a part of the cat's family. And the potters but that's mostly because he's Mary and Lily's baby.
"Uncle Reggie!" He shrieks, always happy to see Regulus.
"Where are the cats?" He mumbles, his head on Regulus's Shoulder.
"They're at the cave"
"Can I go see them?" Asks Harry as Regulus puts him back on the floor.
"Of course, just be careful with Altair"
"Fine" Harry shouted, already running to the cave.
Regulus walks over to Mary, Lily and James.
"Evans" He nods at Mary.
"Potter" She nods back.
James and Lily break into matching grins looking at their partners with heart eyes.
Mary can't help but join and grin.
Regulus tries to contain himself and, obviously, failing miserably when his eyes lend on his lovely, beautiful, madly in love and handsome husband who is grinning at him. He wants James to stop. He needs James to never stop.
"Shut up"
"I haven't said anything"
"Yet"
Soon enough they're walking into the kitchen, Lily and James start making tea as Regulus and Mary sit on the counters, talking (mostly just gossiping).
"I've heard Dumbledore had gotten together with the headmaster of that other school" Mary says like it's a betrayal.
"The headmaster that always judged us?" Regulus asks in disgust.
"That's the one" Mary said bitterly.
"One shit headmaster falling for another" He said.
"They forgot the opposite attract rule" She laughed.
"Oh so they can forget rules and we can't? That's homophobic"
"It is! How dare they. Not only disrespecting the rules but also themselves!"
They both burst out laughing. Dumbledore used to say that by disrespecting the rules they're disrespecting themselves.
Shortly after that James and Lily came over with their tea. They all drank their tea and continued to gossip just like they used to at Hogwarts.

Harry came into the cave, and instantly Orbit and Sunny came over meowing to get his attention.
He sat down and they climbed onto his lap.
"Kitties," He smiled and Petted each of their heads. "Where's Altair?" He adds
A small meow was heard followed by a very small kitten.
"Hello, small cat" Harry smiles, carefully reaching over and petting the kitten.

"Mama! Look at Altair!" Harry run over to Lily holding Altair in his hands, as Orbit and Sunny
run after them.
In the past half an hour, Harry not only won over the traumatized cat, but he also adopted him into his cat-family. Altair didn't even look scared. Harry had that effect on animals, cats and snakes especially. It was magic-like. Regulus had never seen something like that before.
Lily looked down and smiled at Harry.
"Harry, dear, I think Altair wants to be on the floor" She said
The kitten gave a meow of disappointment when Harry put him on the ground and Regulus crouched down and kissed both Harry and Altair's heads. Both happy at the show of affection.
When Regulus stood back up James kissed him softly and said.
"You've grown soft"
"I blame you," He says, "and the cats" He adds.
