"Good morning, Reg" James murmured as he woke up.
Regulus yawned and snuggled closer, burying his face in the crook of James' neck.
"Five more minutes"
"Love, we have our appointment today"
"Please" Regulus tries.
"love, we need to get up" he said looking at his husband of two years who looks so, so tired.
He's immediately filled with concern. He gets out of bed, crouching down near Regulus's face.
"Are you okay, love?" He asked running his hand through Regulus' hair, trying to calm himself.
"Mhm"
"You don't seem okay," James says, moving closer to place a kiss on Regulus' forehead.
"You have a fever, love"
Regulus hums, his eyes already closing.
"I'll make you some tea, hang tight"

"Jamie" Regulus said, walking over to him with a tired look.
"Yes love?"
"Mmmm"
"What?"
"Mmmmm"
"You want attention?" James asked, smirking at the boy.
"Mhm"
"I have fussed over you those past three days, and mom even came yesterday" He laughed, reaching his hands out for Regulus to climb into his lap, as soon as Regulus does James starts playing with his hair.
"I missed you" Regulus murmurs softly, kissing James' cheek softly.
"I was with you every second those past two days and you know it, Reg"
"I still missed you"
"And then they call me sappy! Look at you!"
"Stop it"
"So much character development"
"Shut up"
"Wow, I can't believe this. My Regulus, showing affection"
"Shush"

"Reg, remember our appointment?" James asks, his hand wrapped around Regulus' waist as they walked down the road.
"Yes" Regulus answers, resting his head on James' shoulder.
"I rescheduled it to 15:45 today"
"James, it's currently 14:00, we need to get going"
"Oh, okay"

"I'm glad you got better, Regulus," Says a nice lady named Poppy. "Here he is, in all of his glory!" She adds
"Well hello there, little guy" Regulus crouched down next to an orange cat.
Regulus wanted to adopt another cat, he said Orbit gets lonely whenever they're at work and he's not wrong, she does.
"What's his name?" James asks, turning to her.
"Sunny" Poppy replies with a smile.

It's been a year since Regulus had found Orbit.
Orbit was never jealous when they played with other cats or brought them home, she usually just stared at the cats and looked for any sign of trouble.
But when James and Regulus brought Sunny home, it was like Orbit just found her best friend, They were inseparable. They shared toys, food and water.
James was surprised by how well they got along.
Regulus knew it would happen, he knew his cats better then the back of his own hand.
The four of them were happy, together, in their lovely home.
