Orbit
Regulus walked back from Sirius' house, He was stopping at the grocery store to buy Pandora some bread and some apples When he saw a gray kitten about to cross the road. The boy rushed over to save the little kitten.
He held it to his chest, giving up on his grocery shopping.

"Jamie!" Regulus called as he went through the door.
James joged from the kitchen smiling as he saw Regulus closing the door. Regulus' back was still turned towards James. James walked over and hugged the boy from behind, his chin resting on top of Regulus' soft curls.
"Yes, love?" He asked softly, lowering his head to the boy's ear.
Regulus pulled away and looked James straight in the eye.
"We have a cat" He said, his voice serious.
"Since when?" James laughed lightly, looking at Regulus like he's the most beautiful person to ever exist.
"Couple of minutes ago, Her name is Orbit." Regulus said, grinning up at James and lifting a small gray kitten.
"Honey," James started, "I don't think we should adopt a cat yet."
"Jamie, she needs a home. She'll die if we won't take her in." Regulus said "please?" He adds.
"Fine, where did you find her anyway? Maybe she has an owner"
"I found Orbit outside the grocery store, and, if she had an owner, they were shit and don't deserve her." Regulus says, holding the kitten closer.
~Okay, yeah that's fine, totally fine, we have a kitten now, wonderful, lovely, we can do it, yeah totally fit to be cat-dads.~ James thought to himself.
"Well, we're cat-dads now" He said.
"Yes, my dear husband, we are cat-dads." Regulus says with a grin, resting his head on James' shoulder, trying to stop a giggle from bursting through his lips.
"What now?" James asks, taking Orbit from Regulus' hands, holding her up, grinning at her.
"Now we buy cat-stuff" Regulus answers, looking at his beautiful husband and their new kitten.
