Chapter 5
“Ginny, Ginny, Ginny!”
I hurtled towards our table and slid into the open seat next to Ginny.
“What is it Hermione?” Ginny asked bewildered.
“You won't believe who the head boy is,” I started spitting out with a mix of anger and disbelief.
“I’m going to guess it is Malfoy,” she said with a raised eyebrow.
“How'd you know?” I gasped.
“Well he is coming up right behind you, and he's wearing a head boy badge.”
I turned to see that indeed Draco was approaching us and that he did not look happy.
“Morning, Malfoy,” I curtly greeted him.
“Granger, we need to talk, '' he snapped at me.
“Feel free to have a seat,” I waved a hand at the empty seat across from me.
“Not here, not with present company,” he sneered down his nose at Ginny.
“Draco if you want to talk you can talk to me in front of Ginny.”
“Alright, but don't blame me if the little weasel asks questions,” he snapped as he sat down.
“What is it Malfoy, just get this over with so I can enjoy my breakfast in peace,” I said as I spooned eggs onto my plate.
“I could have said the same about my bath this morning before you burst in and gazed all over my innocent nakedness,” he said with satisfaction as Ginny choked on her orange juice.
“Alright Malfoy, let's go we can talk about this elsewhere,” I growedl at him as my face burned with embarrassment. I stood up quickly and stalked out of the great hall with Draco trailing behind me with a self satisfied grin. “Was that really necessary,” I spat at him.
“ I feel that we should address this as soon as possible,” he smirked. “I take a bath every day at 6 am, including the weekends. I expect this to be respected as my time in the washroom unless you wish to join me.” He winked at me and turned to walk away as if that was all it was to this conversation.
“Was that all you wanted,” I stalked after him down the hallway.
“That’s all I’ll ever want,” he waved a hand over his shoulder.
I huffed and stomped my foot in indignation at his simple dismissal of me.
