Unspeakables RE-WRITE

Harry thought it was great seeing Donna’s Grandad again, however when her mother wanted to know why she had turned up with this child and why she hadn’t gotten a job yet, Harry decided to help Donna out.

“She doesn’t need to get a job my dad’s company that they work for pay for everything for our travels, Donna is traveling around the world seeing new and exciting things every day, we came back now because my dads’ needed to look into our next few destinations as well as do some consultation work while they are here, we got a lift here from the main company my dads’ work for they are actually the ones really paying for me and my dads’, Donna was included in the deal after meeting her a few times over the years. You could say she is working, as she is getting all of this new and exciting information that will help her in the future when she wants to find another job, it could end up that the company that employs her now but without pay only spending money, could decide to employ her after she decides to finish traveling with us Donna could spend years doing that though there is so much of the Earth left unexplored and to be explored and Donna is going to see so much of it and learn the history of the planet from different cultures while my dads’ do the work for the company they are sent to do. Don’t you think that’s better than being a full-time secretary?” Harry explained then asked the question gently to Donna mother.

“Is this true?” Donna’s mother demanded of her. Donna took a breath she knew she couldn’t tell her mother the truth.

“Yes, you know how I was investigating for a newspaper, after my last job it put me back in the company of the Arbitrator’s dads.” Stated Donna only to be interrupted by her mother,

“Who?” Donna’s mother asked so Harry helped again.

“Each of us are given code names to keep our real identity protected because of the work my dad’s do my main dad is called the Master and my other dad is called the Doctor there was specific reason Donna was asked to join us and agreed to it she actually got the code name the Bookwriter because that is what she does writes books on what she has seen and investigated while as I said my dads’ do the work they have been sent to do. As you haven’t signed an agreement with the company you unfortunately cannot know my dads’ or my own real names!” Harry explained with Donna nodding agreeing with him, so she continued to speak to her mother.

“Anyway, mother as I was saying, I was investigating for the paper but at that point I had only met one of them before, the Doctor. That was when the offer was made to me after we had all finished our investigations, at first I thought it was a bit of a bribe, to stop me handing the news article in, but then that didn’t happen, they wanted me to continue traveling with them even after the deadline passed, even when they found out I had been let go for not contacting them until I was back last, we had to come back the company needed the Arbitrators dads’ help and they brought me along it’s why I took the time to come and see you I wanted to see you and they wanted the Arbitrator out of danger while they were looking into that ATMOS thing. The Arbitrator gave me the time to spend with you and grandad and stayed talking to the driver, I invited him in today as he’s learning about the stars at the moment and thought he would get on well with grandad… Oh, mum some of the things I have seen and heard would shock you, it really is a beautiful planet. As the Arbitrator said we were back in London and I wanted to see you both and collect some more clothes for our new destinations, we can get clothes when we get there but traveling from one place to another, we change clothes a lot depending on how long it takes to get there and then the clothes we buy to blend in. I’m going to need a bigger wardrobe in my room that’s for sure. They pay for all of that for me and all I have to do is travel with them until I want to stop.” Donna told to her mother to cover up what she was really doing.

“What’s the name of this company?” Donna’s mother demanded next off her daughter.

“That unfortunately falls under the British secrecy act. A confidential contract has to be signed before you are allowed to know, Donna had to sign one when they took her on even I had to sign one and I'm just under eight and a half only my dad’s haven’t signed one in the last few years because they have done it previously, it’s one of the reasons we are given code names and never use our real names unless with family like you know who Donna is and can call her that but anyone else unless they have the clearance she has she can only tell others that she is called the Bookwriter but the work she does goes to the company and she can keep a copy of her work for herself as she isn’t officially paid so it’s her doing the work for them really not the other way around but I assure you she is not taken advantage of the spending money depending how long we are there for can be massive but it has to be used for that trip anything left over is returned to the company’s accounts with the receipts for any purchases my dad’s give me an allowance and pay for anything I want Donna has her own allowance of the company and as I said it can be thousands of pounds depending where we go and for how long we are there as I'm sue you know buying something in some countries can be very expensive.” Harry jumped in to cover for Donna yet again. Harry did not want her mother knowing the Doctor worked for UNIT or that they were really traveling in Time and space and it seemed Donna didn’t either from the way she spoke to her mother. It seemed her mother had a low opinion of Donna at times. From there it fell to questions of where she had been and what she had seen, Harry quickly flashed through an alternate timeline where he stayed on earth alone and travelled just the earth and collected all the information. He looked to Donna who was actually looking to him to help and he did he started to feed her information about the Earth, as she kept looking at him, Harry would then nod as though he was agreeing with her chipping things in from where they had been and what they had seen but actually Harry would feed her the next set of places for her to talk about as he was doing this. It took around two hours to talk about just generalities, she told her mother where she had been, then what she looked at while there and that they allowed her to investigate the past of the area and then considered their possible future while taking copious amounts of notes about what she had seen and done as the Master and the Doctor did whatever work the company needed them to but not actually what that work was. When her mother asked her about the books, she said they were with the rest of her stuff at the headquarters where the company was based out of. She played the TARDIS off as a private plane that the four of them used with a pilot and co-pilot that they lived out of hence needed more cloths but never named her or said just how big she was.

They talked about how most of the time the company would decide where they needed to go but one of the Arbitrators dads did occasionally choose a destination at random that the company had work that needed doing and so they would go and do that but it could be anywhere which was fun at times because they never told the two of them just where they were going until they got there. Or the company sent them somewhere specific for their work that fell within their individual specialities. From there it descended into Harry having to field questions about his dads. He explained that one was his stepdad while the other was his biological dad and they were both raising him together, that his biological dad and his partner were both bisexual and it had been a one-night stand. When his mother died, he was sent to live with his dads. It named his biological dad in her will and so social services tracked him down and he was overjoyed to find out he had a son and so was his partner and so now they were both bringing him up together. Wilfred was looking at both Harry and Donna in amusement as they talked, he knew full well where they were exploring but he kept quiet, he didn’t buy the looks passing between them either. Wilfred thought that information was being passed between them as Donna had never been to any of the places that she mentioned but knew the areas to well when describing them and mentioning the past of the place.

“I know you’ve not seen Donna in a month, but I thought you had to go shopping today, do you need some of my pension for the food?” Wilfred asked to Donna’s mother to remind her it was shopping day and to get her out of the house so he could talk to Donna on her own now they had talked for over two hours.

“Good Lord, look at the time! Are you going to be here for lunch when I should back?” Donna’s mother asked her in shock after reading the time on her watch.

“No, we are only here for the morning we will get food on the way back to the company headquarters the driver will come and pick us back up then we will stop at a drive through thanks!” Donna explained to her mother, ten minutes later Donna mother was gone shopping and Wilfred was smiling at them both.

“So, what did you bring back for you old Grandad then?” Wilfred asked Donna.

“We picked you up a star bracelet, it’s a bracelet that is made up of a dying star the metal is cooled and turned into this!” Harry explained while taking the gift he had bought for Wilfred out of one of his pockets, Harry had picked it up at one of the holiday plants they had visited, he passed the box it was in over to Wilfred. Wilfred opened the box and picked the bracelet up and he looked stunned as he held it.

“This is made out of a star?” Wilfred asked Harry shocked.

“Yes, but it looks just like a black metal bracelet with a bit of a sparkle as you can see, you can pass it off as a meteor bracelet if asked it would take someone really knowing what they look like to call you out on it. Anyone who asks, just tell them it was from a meteor crash site in the deeps of Africa and that your daughter had it made for you when you had asked Donna for a memento of following the comets History that she told you she was going to look into the last time we were here, it’s why I pretended I was born here not loomed, like you pretended we were speaking the truth, if you are called out on it play dumb until you can get away from your daughter, then explain Donna is traveling with the Doctor and the Master, that will shut anyone up. Anyone who could know what this is would know who the Doctor is and will have at least heard of him if not personally met him, they may not know what he looks like at the moment as we can cheat death in a way if we are gravely injured or near to death the Doctor looks thin with spiky brown hair blue or brown leisure suit long brown coat and the Masters has long black hair in a pony tail and always wears a business suit with a long black or dark blue long coat with black gloves if it is cold, tell them you have met them both though and that will make whoever is calling you out on it drop the matter just tell them you met the two of them a few times and asked Donna as you are so into astronomy for a bit of the stars and so Donna asked them to have that made for you and they did.” Harry explained to Wilfred so he would be safe and able to keep his daughter out of it.

“You don’t have to wear it you can just place it in your room somewhere safe if you want, we just thought you would truly like a bit of the stars as you had asked for them the last time we were here so we specifically looked out for one while we were traveling and picked it up while the four of us took a vacation on a holiday planet for two weeks.” Harry explained further. He knew Wilfred would like the bracelet it was why Harry had picked it up for him Wilfred was just shocked.

“That is really nice of you for you all to do that for me!” Wilfred spoke he was choking up over the beauty of the bracelet and the fact they had got it for him.

“I wish we could take you out there with us for a few trips but we would never get away with it, yes we can come and go in seconds but you would age and it would be to noticeable, Donna looks older than the last time you saw us she just has youthful looks it has actually been two years now we’ve been gone traveling together but we visited you last month and this month, pick up the last picture you have of her and you will see the difference, it’s why we can really only get away with at most a visit every month while traveling hence coming today. Once Donna decides to stop traveling with us, she will come back to you only a few more months from now depending on how long she travels with us and how often she speaks to you or comes to see you as you know I put the infinity formula on your phone so you can call her mobile and she can call you but it matches up with your timeline not ours its roughly two days for a month to you. Donna and you will then be able to tell your daughter everything that she has done and seen. She remained calm and composed throughout our last adventure it was only when it was over did it hit her. That’s why she came home today, we nearly died on that visit to the future, she got trapped in a virtual environment that wasn’t very real and she with help, saw through that and realised that some of the life around her wasn’t real, even though she lived a lifetime in there she still noticed the inconsistencies. None of us saw in the timeline her not making it back to the TARDIS where she was meant to be sent, when both of my dads’ found out we were all in serious trouble with what was going on at the time. We all thought she was safe inside the TARDIS and you can’t look inside a TARDIS, there is too much Time Vortex energy running through her to see inside of her. It was only when the Doctor saw her on the teleport pad stepping off looking around that he realised what had happened to her and that she hadn’t made it to where he had intended to send her. Donna met a man in the virtual environment and fell for him, she felt he was real, and he could have been none of us could see inside the virtual environment to find out that was why she was looking around she was trying to see if he was real as they got on so well, all the souls in there was causing damage to it, the girl who pulled them all into the hard drive they were stored on forgot what she had done until the very end, it was only with a death of a person that we manage to re-materialise all the people that the little girl had saved.” Harry explained but you could tell Harry was upset at the end and he was still affected by it.

“Who was she?” Wilfred asked gently he could see Harrys eyes and they were haunted on such a young face it looked wrong. Harry was quiet for a while then answered honestly.

“Family, that’s all we know at the moment, and we have to preserve the timeline, her death became a fixed point in Time for some reason that none of us know or understand why at least at this moment in time, I've tried looking for her timeline but can’t find it anywhere so she has not been born yet however we know she will be at some point and is an immediate member of our family, but at the end of the adventure my dads’ and I watched a loved one die the first day we met her.” Harry spoke so quietly that Wilfred had to strain to hear but he did and when Harry looked up, he could see the sympathy in Wilfred’s eyes, Wilfred was an old man now he had lived a good life, he expected to pass before losing anyone else.

“But if you know she is family then she will have to be born as you’ve said, once you find that out you can ensure she is happy and has a full life of love. You said you can’t do anything about her death, but you can give her a full life of love while she is with you if she is family before that happens so that you have good memories to overwrite the others, it will still hurt losing her. When I lost my wife, it hurt and still does, there will be a hole in your heart until you reconnect with her, then it will start to mend until you know she’s going to die, give her a good life full of love and that would be all she would and could ask for.” Wilfred spoke trying to comfort Harry.

“I think that’s what both my dads’ have been trying to tell me, we all have this hole now, but the Doctor feels it the worst out of all of us. That I do know, he will keep her safe and ensure that she is loved for my sake now. If for no other reason than to make me less sad knowing when she will die.” Harry answered again to Wilfred’s statement.

“Then listen to them. From everything you’ve said they know what they are talking about they are both older and wiser than any of us could be.” Wilfred responded to him.

“They are, the Doctor is nearly one thousand years old, the Master is even older than him now through his linier age being older even though they were born the same year. Time travellers for you, it was only when they worked out, I was their son hidden that they stayed together as you know they are both my dads’, but I was lost to them until they found me again. We are just lucky once we reach adulthood, we can slow our biological clocks down to nothing. I've been with them about 12 years now and they haven’t aged a day it looks like when you see them, but I will grow older until I reach that point in my own liner time believe it or not about another one hundred and eighty five years. It will take now around another seventy two years from this point on before I Look like a teenager even though I am mentally an adult of forty nine years old nearly. She realised these were the before times of her in our lives, she knew I was too young when we met her, but she never said how old I was when she knew us and can’t find out until she is born, then we will be able to give her the life she deserves before she has to pass away.” Harry explained to Wilfred.

“She told you she would see you all again, which means she defiantly will, from there you can work on ensuring she always knows you love her and care a great deal for her.” Wilfred answered to that.

“Grandads right Arbitrator you now know who she is even if you see her as another adult, you will do all you can for her always being there for her if she needs you. You can’t find her timeline you don’t know how old she actually was when you met her or how she ended up as part of your immediate family.” Donna replied also having met River Song. Harry just nodded to that.

“Tell your grandad of your other adventures before your mother gets home, she should be gone an hour and a half if nothing changes in the timeline and we would hear the car arriving even if it does…. Oh Donna said her mother had a go about not paying towards the bills and the petrol for bringing the car from Cardiff back to London the last time you saw her.” Harry told Donna then spoke to Wilfred at the end putting his hands in different pockets his hands and arms disappearing into most of them Harry rummaged around until he found the British pounds.

“Here is what Donna is owing in petrol, Donna said it was fifty pounds plus there is another two hundred pounds for the two month’s rent she has supposedly missed even though it is a lot longer to her, however as you know it’s only a few months ago she waved goodbye to you. Then as you know she was back here to see you both last month She’s not been here to use anything all you have needed to do is keep her room ready for her, it can be explained as that. I don’t know how to draw money out of a cash machine yet without an account and mine had to be closed down that’s nearly the last of it in hard currency but my dad and Pere have said they are going to teach me how to use my sonic probe fully over the next few days so I can use it properly without damaging anything or blowing it up on me. Once that is done, I can move some Gangs or a Drug Lord’s money into a new account on Earth without a trace or just use the account the Doctor has on Earth from some work he does for the government occasionally like with the ATMOS devices when we last saw you.” Harry explained to them both handing the money over to Wilfred. Donna spent the next hour just talking about their adventures Donna explaining the ones she went on without Harry and explained they really didn’t know where they would be going next some time the TARDIS could decide for them or like the last adventure someone who knew how to overwrite the navigator of the TARDIS sent them to the largest library in the universe it was a whole planet full of books, the Doctor and Master had popped away for some time on their own while she came to see both her mother and grandad. Donna Explained how they got there and that they would have to go around the block a bit before disappearing just like how they had arrived. It was just before her mother arrived home that Harry warned them both she was coming, Donna had a light in her eyes, it reflected in her grandads he really was glad she was out there seeing the stars.

“If we leave from here, we will less likely be seen, but the Master and the Doctor aren’t back yet but they shouldn’t be long we can look through the Torchwood cells while we wait for them Jack Harkness who knows the Doctor knows Sirius is my godfather so should let us if he accompanies us. Plus, we still need to do a shop ourselves but please don’t mention that to anyone. We also need milk, the only planet in the galaxy with cows at this moment in time and it’s Earth…. It was lovely to see you again Wilfred and I get the feeling we will meet yet again and for some strange reason you will help us, I'm not looking into the timeline, but you will see us all again, especially Donna, she loves you very much Wilfred and that love will make you help us. It’s very rare for us to meet the same person more than once while traveling. And yet I’ve met you twice now. You’ve met the Doctor without realising it, even being Donna’s Grandad, you still have seen and met us more than most.” Harry told Wilfred. After another round of goodbyes and Wilfred telling Harry to let his life flow and follow where it takes him, if River Song said the three of them would see her again, they would see Wilfred again. If he believed one, he had to believe the other then after Wilfred reminded Harry to give her a life of love. Harry and Donna were off to Torchwood Cardiff.

Harry and Donna arrived in Torchwood main hub in Cardiff using SATURN surprising everyone there other than Sirius.

"Hi guys this is Donna she is traveling with us at the moment and the Doctor and Master have gone for some time on their own so I was staying with Sirius overnight then I took Donna home for the morning, if the timeline plays out, they should be back here in about an hour as the Doctor said we would all meet up here I hope that’s okay." Harry announced to the team slightly twisting the truth not that they would know.

"Arbitrator, how are you? You don't normally pop into here on your own." Jack spoke with his award-winning smile.

"I’m fine thanks Jack, I know I don’t normally pop in on my own but as I said the Master and Doctor are still away they both know we would be here so they will either arrive in the TARDIS or come in through the front as whoever is manning it will let them two in but with you never meeting Donna before I thought it would be better to come straight into the hub rather than having to drag you and Sirius up to the entrance from here to vouch for Donna as Sirius knows she is traveling with us at the moment. I thought you might let me show Donna your cells and get Sirius to explain what happens here it’s always sounded exciting to me, who you have in and what species you are currently looking after, the TARDIS translation matrix will allow Donna to understand what they are saying." Harry explained his reason for being there, again twisting the truth.

"You can but as you said take Sirius with you to keep an eye on you!" Jack told Harry what to do as he did when he commanded his team.

"That's no problem, I'm not all knowing like the Doctor or the Master so I might not recognise some of the species you have in the cells to explain to Donna who they are, if I can't Sirius will be able to explain it to us, and I know you normally keep the cells out of bounds so thank you!” Harry explained then thanked Jack for letting him look around them. He was excited they held a lot of different aliens down there and he had only seen the cells a few times before not that they knew that other than Sirius. Soon they were off with Sirius in the lead answering all of Donna's questions that he could, some things were under the British Secrecy Act. However there seemed to be an awful lot of Weevils in the cells.

"What's going on with all the Weevils?" Harry asked Sirius.

"We don't know, they are coming up to the surface more and more at night-time in larger groups each time, until we can sort that out, they will have to stay secured in the cells." Sirius explained to them both.

"Have you got enough cells to put even more Weevils in?" Harry asked looking through the cells at all the different Weevils in there.

"We still have the lower cells if we need them, but we are working on the problem at the moment and are bringing in any large groups we find during the night." Sirius answered again.

"Who's doing the nightly patrols the whole team is awake and working, if you are collecting these Weevils at night how long are you working for each day Sirius?" Harry asked worried about Sirius overworking himself.

"We all are at the moment, we've been splitting the shifts up so we all get a decent sleep we are not neglecting that so don’t worry about it, we are only out for two consecutive nights a week until seven AM and we don't come in until after lunch the day after, normally today is an ordinary working day for me I'm not going out tonight and I didn't last night as you know, both Tosh and I cover two of the night's, Jack and Ianto do another two nights and Owen and Gwen do the next two then we just rotate it back around we never start with the same nights though with there being seven nights in a week and a pair of us have to be out every night at the moment but it has only been going on for a month since it started, we have an in with the main branch of local police for this area of Cardiff now through Gwen, so they know to call us for anything weird. Jack has had me do a lot of memory charms and obliviates on the police force they are the ones bringing in the big groups, well spotting them and reporting them to us. But Jack doesn't want the police remembering what they have seen with no one meant to know they are here on the planet in this area, it's getting worse though and we don't know why, it's what we've been working on for the last month as I said." Sirius explained to Harry and Donna but when Sirius saw Harry’s face Sirius knew Harry was worried about him working too long.

"What other species have you got down here?" Donna asked as she was studying the Weevils.

"Quite a few actually, follow me." Sirius told to them both. They spent the rest of their time with Sirius. Harry and Donna seeing a wide variety of very different aliens than what they had seen so far. Sirius told them what they were and why they were secure in the cells for the moment, some were just waiting to be sent home others were a danger to Earth and so stayed in a cell. A lot just wanted to get back to their own world. Sirius assured them Torchwood was doing all they could for the ones needing to go home. They had just made it back up to the main floor of Torchwood when they all herd the vomp, vomp, vomp, of the Tardis materialising with the brakes still on, at least Harry knew who was driving. Soon out stepped the Master and then the Doctor, both looking around for Harry, when they spotted him, Harry was running towards them and grabbed them both in a hug around their middles.

"I know it's only been a morning, but I've missed you both, more than I realised." Harry spoke gently and quietly to his two dads’, after this morning Harry had started to forgive the Doctor as the Doctor had pointed out children and parents do argue but it didn’t mean they didn’t love each other any less.

"Well come on then Donna lets be off, now we have collected you both." The Doctor spoke over Harry’s head from within the hug.

"Wait you've only came to pick these two up?" Sirius and Jack asked together.

"I could do with you two looking over some data for me the Weevils are really acting strange around Cardiff but only around this particular area of it. They are now traveling in large groups, we have one full level of them with four to a cell already, they can't be released until we know what's going on. I could use some help of you both if you would give me a hand, please." Jack explained to the Doctor and the Master.

"Okay, did you two sort things out?" Harry asked looking at the Master and then the Doctor.

"We did we have a lot to talk about with you but yes, we opened up to each other as you asked, it’s why we we’re later than we said we stayed in the Time Vortex so we wouldn't be seen or heard and then we spent some time on Floxum, just to spend time together and talk." The Doctor told Harry.

"So does the TARDIS need charging? If so, I'll drop her off near the rift and then take Donna on that other errand we need to do, I'll need money though, Donna’s mother was there so we had to make up a story of us traveling the Earth instead of space as she doesn’t seem to like the fact Donna isn’t earning millions of pounds or doing what her mother thinks she should be doing! Once she left, Donna talked to her grandad about what she has seen and done so far, and he was over the moon about it all. It was a nice visit with him, he really was delighted to hear Donna talk about her adventures. We gave him the dying star bracelet I picked up on that first two weeks holiday we all had together. It looks manly enough for him to wear or just keep as a reminder, he had asked Donna the last time we visited him to carry on visiting the stars and to bring a bit of one home for him, he was shocked that is exactly what we did for him, I think he will wear it. It allows him to always keep part of the stars with him. He's really into astronomy and spends nights at a time looking up at the stars through his telescope, I told him if he was ever asked about it to play it off as a meteor bracelet until he could get away from Donna’s mother then tell whoever knew what it really was to tell them she was traveling with you two. anyone who could properly identify it would have definitely heard about you Pere." Harry explained to them as to what had gone on.

"Your right yes, the TARDIS does need to recharge. Okay Arbitrator this is the plan, you take the TARDIS to recharge her and take Donna with you she can help with the other thing we need to do while here. We will both stay here until you come back to see what Jack needs our help with. Check the TARDIS is full when you finish and bring her back here, if she isn't check how full she is work out how long it took to fill her then come back here using SATURN and we will all go to the TARDIS together once we know she will fully be recharged." The Doctor explained while giving Harry another squeeze in the hug. The Doctor wanted Harry to know he trusted him, it was also because the Doctor had checked the timeline for Harry and them, it was why the Doctor was letting Harry take the TARDIS on her own. The Doctor truly did trust Harry now, the Master just ruffled Harry’s hair with one hand while keeping the other one around him giving him a smile.

"Show me how to pull money out of a cash machine with my sonic probe then please I had to leave the rest for Donna’s mother with Wilfred for the rent Donna had missed and petrol. We told her that Donna was traveling the world with us and only got spending money I had to run through an alternate timeline it was actually of me just traveling all over the world, using my telepathy on Donna with her permission I give her descriptions of places on earth and what was there that I had seen in the timeline with me adding bits." Harry first asked how to use his sonic probe then explained about the visit with Donna's mother.

"That's sounds like you handed it well, Wilfred would have seen Donna from the TARDIS but didn’t want Donna’s mother knowing from what Donna and you have said, I mean if he hadn't seen her in the sky standing and waving from the TARDIS' doors then he wouldn't have known. Also let me show you what to do to pull cash out of a cash machine." The Master told Harry ruffling his hair again. Ten minutes of an explanation later and another hug to his dad, Pere and Sirius, Harry and Donna were in the TARDIS, she just faded out of sight.

"How come it made no noise it always does when arriving and leaving." Jack asked perplexed, he knew what she sounded like arriving and departing, the landings were the worst they always fell, nearly everyone had to hang on to something.

"Because I taught the Arbitrator how to use her, now he's taking the full TARDIS engineering course and learning all about the intricate details of growing a TARDIS and how to repair one as well as navigate with it. Plus, he remembers to take the bloody breaks off when traveling that is how a TARDIS should look and sound like when arriving or departing, not the way the Doctor does it." The Master explained with some humour.

"Anyway! What did you want our help with exactly?" The Doctor asked trying to stop everyone looking at him in amusement. The Doctor got where he needed to go, and the TARDIS worked like that. Plus, the Doctor had been told that noise brought both hope and adventure. The Doctor refused to change using the TARDIS like that after so long.

Donna and Harry had rematerialized where Harry was told to and Harry waited for a few minutes to make sure the energy was filling the TARDIS back up and how full it was at the moment, once he was sure he knew everything he needed to Harry took Donna's arm and led her out of the TARDIS, holding her arm Harry apparated them from the TARDIS to a side ally near one of the big food stores. Donna was not impressed and told him so, she also told Harry to make sure to ask next time and explained it felt like a budgie being sucked up a hoover nozzle.

"Sorry you're right I should have warned you but believe it or not it's easier to do it that way than to use SATURN or teleporting and it is less obvious. Anyway, we are just around the corner of the store to remove some money from the cash machines and then grab a trolley each we will need a few trips at least four trollies maybe six to eight need to be filled with just milk, the rest is tins and stables plus other items that are no longer available in other Times and on other planets. So, we have to grab them now while we can." Harry first apologised and then explained what they needed to do. It took them three hours to do the shopping, luckily Harry could shrink everything down and put it in one of his bigger on the inside pockets of his trousers and coat. Before they went for another round of shopping. The store had cash machines outside and so Donna covered what Harry did while having a go at him for technically just stealing the money he removed that they would need for shopping.

"I’m pulling it from the Doctors UNIT account, that is what is taking so long, it's easy to just pull money out of a cash machine and take it from the bank the machine is connected to but to pull it from another account is harder and that is what the Master and the Doctor explained for me to do." Harry told her what he was doing. The Doctor had worked for some sort of UNIT off and on since its conception, the money had built up over time with interest and few shares that the Doctor knew would be a good investment also there was the added interest to the account.

"Come on let's start shopping the most important is the milk, " Harry told Donna. They ended up filling eight trollies with just milk cartons as he had said all of them with different types of milk, so they had a variety of range, the only thing he didn't get was full whole milk, neither the Master or the Doctor seemed to like that particular milk. Harry knew he certainly didn't. Once they had gone through all the store and paid over two thousand five hundred pounds for food they were finally finished, Harry had gone mad on the sweets section as well, filling half a trolly from just that isle, he grabbed chocolate, Haribo's and other such sweets he was only between eight and a quarter and eight and a half now physically and loved sweets when in that mind set. Tea and coffee were brought in bulk including Harrys own special coffee along with everything needed to make hot chocolate and pancakes two of their favourite things. They ended up using twenty trollies and doing ten trips in all, then they were back around the corner, Harry had already checked for surveillance the first time, now he looked to make sure they were alone two buttons pressed on SATURN, they then rematerialized in the control room of the TARDIS, he was so glad he had been ordered to start that scan by the Doctor when the Doctor fist realised about the Vashta Nerada.

Harry didn't check to see the TARDIS fuel levels he just carried on straight through into the living areas of the TARDIS to the kitchen, it took them an hour and a half from staring to pull the bags out of his pockets, to him and Donna putting it all away. Harry put the used carrier bags into the re-cycler then Donna made two cups of coffee while Harry put the most uncommon food stuff away where it went. They walked through to the control room and saw that the TARDIS was fully recharged, so handing his mug off to Donna Harry set the navigator for Torchwood hub in Cardiff for fifteen minutes after they had left it knowing Jack would need time to explain the problem. Like before they phased out of one place and into the other. Taking his coffee off Donna they both made their way out of her.

"Hi everyone." Harry spoke as he and Donna walked out of the TARDIS.

"Ah Arbitrator, Good you're back, I need the TARDIS to run some calculations for Jack!" The Doctor explained, then the Doctor was squeezing Harry’s shoulder while going past him to get into the TARDIS.

"Did you find something then? We’ve only been gone fifteen minutes I gave you time to find out what the problems was." Harry asked then explained why he had taken her for so long.

"Erm…. Yes…. We have a flasher Weevil on our hands!" The Doctor explained with amusement in his voice. Harry looked over to the Master to see if the Doctor was being serious the Master just nodded, you could see the laughter he was holding in, through his eyes.

"Yes. He's serious, we have a trench coat wearing flashing Weevil, what's funnier is it killed Jack last week and stole his coat, that's what Torchwood and the Doctor are doing, looking for a Weevil in just Jacks coat, he's not wearing anything else!" The Master carried on explaining with a smirk on his face.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier I could have used SATURN to help you? Surly Sirius told you she had all the features as a TARDIS but in bracer form." Harry asked then explained.

"Because it's embarrassing enough telling your dads I was not getting you involved the Doctor and the Master would kill me, there is a Weevil out there wearing my coat flashing people! I only told the Doctor and the Master because I need help, we've been at this a month now! He started off using a black trench coat now he's using my coat, what's next, are the Weevils evolving from what we all thought they were? If so, why go to flashing people and scaring them? They normally just try to kill you if they come above ground but as you've seen we have those groups contained and they are all in their boiler suits bar this one." Jack explained annoyed at everyone over losing his coat.

"Okay see what the Doctor can find out, he should be able to back track him and find out where the Weevil is living if nothing else, then we just have to trap him there so he can't escape, tranquilise him, bring him back here to one of the cells and put him back in a boiler suit. That way Jack gets his coat back…. Well once it's been deep cleaned!" Harry explained then added humorously at the end of the outline of his plan for getting Jacks coat back.

"And I've got where it’s living, which I think will confirm its not evolution thankfully, however it is learnt behaviour." The Doctor told everyone from within the TARDIS door frame with a smile on his lips and a twinkle in his eyes.

"Where?" Everyone there asked as one even Donna, Harry and the Master.

"A porn shop from where you tried to catch it the other night, but it was leaving the building you reported in the file. It wasn't leaving it was returning to its home!" The Doctor snorted after telling the others what the TARDIS had found.

"So…. You're saying Jack lost his coat because there must be posters or something in the porn shop showing a flasher movie for sale, is his flasher even real or is it a battery-operated prosthetic?" Harry asked with a massive grin on his face looking back between the Doctor and Jack. As he thought would happen everyone except Jack burst out laughing even the Master gave a chuckle and it was genuine.

"Please can we just get my coat back?" Jack begged to them out loud, Jack missed his coat, and a replica wouldn't do.

"Fine come on you five let's go and grab us a flashing Weevil and get Jack his coat back." The Doctor said while he pointed to Harry, the Master, Jack and Donna. An hour later, saw the TARIS re-materialising where it had before. Jack came out first with a boiler dressed Weevil who was unconscious over his shoulder held in place with his arm, and his filthy coat in his other hand, handing the coat off to Ianto he walked down to the cells, the three Time Lords and Donna followed him out.

"We take it everything went alright?" Ianto asked for the group that had stayed behind.

"I wouldn't know according to my dads’ I'm too young to look at porn so had to stay in the TARDIS kitchen with Donna so I couldn't follow them with the TARDIS computers!" Harry spoke while throwing his hands in the air.

"I agree with them you are too young you might as well wait until you're an adult." Sirius spoke while looking at his godson.

"I am over forty seven years old and it’s not like it’s the first time I’ve looked on the internet and found porn flashing up in front of me! I don’t see what the big deal is!” Harry told Sirius not impressed.

“But you only look just older than eight and a quarter wait until you are at least eighteen before you go looking at that again it’s a good job I didn’t know, or you wouldn’t have been looking at it while you lived with me!” Sirius replied back to Harry annoyed.

“That would take another one hundred and fifty three years before I looked eighteen! It will be holographic pornographic by then! What do you expect me to do for that amount of time instead?” Harry explained and asked sarcastically.

“You have your academy lessons to learn as well as going through the engineering course you were telling me about so concentrate on them and going on your adventures with the Doctor, the Master and Donna I do not want to hear of you looking at porn again! I'm making a note in my diary about this and will be asking your dads!” Sirius told Harry in a serious voice.

“Fine! Anyway, we are only waiting for Jack to return and then were off!" Harry explained as he walked over to Sirius and pulled him into a hug which was reciprocated with enthusiasm. Jack turned up five minutes later and after another round of goodbye's they were off into the Time vortex. The Doctor hearing about what was said to Donna's mother, decided that they should see some history before they all talked. So, they were off to Rome or so the Doctor said. They arrived at the edge of a market stall in the middle of the afternoon and left the TARDIS there to go and have a look around.

The Doctor and Master with Donna's input had realised where they were when a mountain rumbled in the distance causing the street to tremble, they had realised they were in Pompeii the day before volcano day. This had both the Doctor and the Master explaining to her about fixed points in Time and how they could not be changed no matter what so she couldn't say anything to the locals as this was one, Pompeii being destroyed by Mount Vesuvius. It was strange to wander the streets and see people walking about and shopping as though they didn't have a care in the world not knowing what would happen the next day.

The four of them had spent a few hours wandering around Pompeii and going through another rumble off the volcano. They were going around in a circle to return back to the TARDIS to get away from there and see something else instead of being in this sort of danger, only to find when they got to where they had left her, the TARDIS was gone.

"Hold on." Harry told them all as he pulled the screen up on SATURN and started to input things into her, suddenly there was a bleep, then it gave them a fixed position on the TARDIS. It took them ten minutes to arrive at where SATURN was saying the TARDIS was it seemed to have somehow ended up in someone's house, Harry quickly closed SATURN down and hid her under his clothing. They knocked on the door and it was answered by a gentleman who invited them in he introduced himself to the four of them as Caecilius a marble sculpturer, designer and creator who was currently working for the city government at the moment, Caecilius then explained to the four of them that he had bought the work of art from a stall on the edge of the market they were keeping it next to the stall on the edge of a side street and he got it for a bargain. It turned into an argument between the Doctor and Donna when the Doctor informed Caecilius using his psychic paper, he was from the marble inspectors and would have to take the wooden art off him while it was checked over and that it shouldn’t really be near to the work, he was doing for them. Donna tried to push them to get out of Pompeii and the Doctor was arguing back with her. The doctor and Donna had just got into a quiet argument where Donna was refusing to leave Caecilius and his family which was a wife and two children one a son and the other a daughter to die with Mount Vesuvius about to explode the next day and the Doctor who wanted to get her the Master and Harry all back into the TARDIS straight away so they could leave when another man turned up. He was introduced by a servant.

"Announcing Lucius Petrus Dextrus, Chief Augur of the City Government." The servant introduced the man. Caecilius introduced the four of them by who they had told him they were called Spartacus for the Doctor, Antonia for Donna, Master for the Master who refused to use a made up name and Maximus for Harry who chose that name remembering the film Gladiator, they were shown the work Caecilius had worked on for the Chief Auger which was the work he was doing for the city government. The Doctor and Master got into a discussion with Lucius of how they looked more like stone circuits then after seeing the state of the daughters arm an argument broke out between the Doctor, the Master, Donna, Lucius and the daughter of Caecilius. When she asked, if that was his opinion of her arm as a Doctor?

"The female soothsayer is inclined to invent all sorts of vagaries." Lucius spoke with contempt.

"Oh, not this time, Lucius. No, I reckon you've been out-soothsayed she seem to be able to see a lot better than you can!” The Master told him with some humour.

"Is that so... men from Gallifrey?" Lucius asked the three Time Lords.

"What?" The Master, the Doctor and Harry all demanded as one.

"Strangest of images... your home is lost in fire, is it not?" Lucius carried on talking to the three Time lords.

"What is he doing?" Donna asked looking at the Master and the Doctor.

“And you, daughter of... London." Lucius spoke with contempt for Donna.

"How do you know that?" Donna demanded off him.

"This is the gift of Pompeii. Every single oracle tells the truth we see all we need to see and more besides." Lucius answered Donna in a very snotty attitude.

"That's impossible." Donna spoke shook up while looking at Lucius with a shocked look on her face.

"Doctor... She is returning." Lucius told the Doctor.

"Who is? Who's she?" The Doctor demanded off Lucius this time.

"And you, daughter of London... There is something on your back." Lucius told Donna next, he seemed to be enjoying shaking the four of them up with his so called knowledge and predictions of the future.

"What's that mean?" Donna asked in a very shaky voice trying to get Lucius to elaborate.

"Even the word Doctor is false. The real names of the males are all hidden. They burn in the stars and the suns the power they hold is too much, hidden from all even the Cascade of Medusa herself. You are all Lords, sirs. Lords.... Of…. Time…. And…. Death!" The daughter exclaimed looking at the Doctor, the Master and Harry together, before collapsing onto the lounge seat she was sat on. All bar Lucius ran towards her, they eventually got her settled into bed, Lucius had already left making his servants carry out the blocks of marble for him. The skin on the girl’s forearm was damaged, it felt like stone and as the Doctor investigated, he realised it came from the stem vents. He found out that it was the soothsayer's idea to use them here when rebuilding after an earthquake that had hit Pompeii seventeen years ago and was used to help bring out the gift of foresight in the seers. As the sky started to darken as it was now turning into the late evening the Doctor and Master made a plan to find out what was going on.

The four of them split up the Master, the Doctor and Harry left leaving Donna to stay with Evelyn as they had eventually learnt she was called along with Metella, Caecilius wife and Quintus their son. While Donna was on her own with Evelyn, Donna tried to talk her into getting all of her family to leave Pompeii that night and not return for at least a few days. Evelyn contacted the sisterhood when Donna started telling her what would happen to her and her family the next day if they stayed, Pompeii would be destroyed by the volcano that kept rumbling and making everything shake killing her and her family along with everyone else in Pompeii. The Sisterhood decided they needed to capture Donna and destroy the vessel of the false prophecy.

Meanwhile the Master, the Doctor and Harry had managed to track down Quintus, Caecilius' son, and got him to get them into Lucius' house for them to have a look around at what he was doing he was up to something with the marble slabs he was having made and they wanted to find out waht, it cost the Doctor a gold coin, but it got Quintus to help. After climbing through a window, they moved a curtain back that was across one wall to find all different marble slabs Quintus made a comment about how Lucius had lied to everyone. Lucius had been told his father he was only using him for the work, but Quintus could see at least four different craftsmen workmanship had gone into making the slabs that were now in front of them. The Master and the Doctor with the help of Quintus moved the stone tablets together but placed them into a different pattern and could see the control circuit for an energy transfer, Lucius turned up with two armed guards just after they had finished creating the pattern for an energy transfer circuit board using marble of all things they now knew what it could do but not why it was being made out of marble slabs.

The Doctor demanded to know what they needed marble slabs to make circuits of an energy transfer, but Lucius wouldn’t answer them instead he ordered the two guards with him to kill the four of them even though Harry looked like a child to everyone. As the guards went to attack on the orders of Lucius, the Master grabbed Lucius' hidden arm and snapped it, a stone hand to elbow came away while Harry knocked the other two guards out with a flick of his hand using True Magic at each of them as Quintus went to hit one over the head with a vase. After the Master had demanded to see the rest of Lucius’ arm, the Master, the Doctor, Harry and Quintus could see it had affected him up to his shoulder so far. The three Time Lords and Quintus managed to escape after that when Harry used True Magic again with a flick of his hand the stone tablets rocked on the frame they were set up on. Lucius was more concerned over the tablets than them shouting for his household servants to help him as he went to stabilise the frame that the slabs were on, what they didn't know until they were two streets away was that once Lucius had stabilised the frame and the marble works he had called out to the 'Gods' to help him stop those who had tried to ruin the work he was doing for them.

The three Time Lords and Quintus stopped running after the two streets and slowed down to a walk, only to hear a loud roar from somewhere underneath them, they ended up running back to Caecilius and Quintus' home, they tried to get everybody in there to leave but it was too late, a monster jumped up out of the grate that Evelin used to help with her sight cracking the marble stone floor all around it, it was so big it reached the roof.

The Doctor demanded everyone get water while a servant fell down onto his knees in front of it begging it for its blessing, all that got was a burnt to nothing servant when the monster breathed out at him. No one noticed in the ensuing chaos that Donna was being kidnapped by the Sisterhood. Four buckets of water were thrown at the monster in one go, one each from the Master, Harry, Caecilius and Quintus. When the room settled from the steam the water produced the monster had been reduced to rock which turned to dust as it crumbled onto the floor. The Doctor explained why it had happened that they were made out of stone dust with an inner layer or magma, throw water on and it reduces itself back to dust. As soon as they realised Donna wasn't there Harry quickly used SATURN to find her, luckily, he had used SATURN to get them both to her house that she shared with her mother and granddad as well as back to the TARDIS when they had done their shopping after dropping the TARDIS off to be refilled so SATURN had her pattern in its memory. The three Time Lords were off running yet again to the main temple of the Sisterhood this time.

Once they got there and got into their main place of worship the Doctor and Master did most of the talking including freeing Donna. She was being her creative self when they first heard her voice, and her sarcasm wasn't much better with what she was shouting about, at the priestesses that had tied her down on the alter that they were going to use to sacrifice her on, believing it would stop the false prophecy. The Doctor demanded an audience with the High Priestess which he didn’t give them much choice in granting him and seeing the state the High Priestess was in the Doctor mentioned how far they had fallen since the first Sister Sibyl had been in charge of the Sisterhood. The High Priestess looked like she was totally made from stone and Donna said so out loud with her usual sarcastic attitude but there was also shock there as to what the woman looked like.

"Exactly. The people of Pompeii are turning to stone before the volcano erupts. But why?" The Doctor demanded the new High Priestess tell him.

"This word, this image in your mind. This volcano... What is that?" The High Priestess asked.

"More to the point, why don't you know about it? Who are you?" The Master demanded off her this time.

"High Priestess of the Sibylline." The stone woman answered the Master still lying in her bed.

"No! I'm talking to the creature inside you. The thing that's seeding itself into a human body, in the dust, in the lungs, taking over the flesh and bone, organs and all bodily functions, turning you it into what?" The Master explained and then asked the High Priestess, but she was obviously turning into something else.

"Your knowledge.... Is impossible." The High Priestess replied.

"Oh, but you can read our minds, you know it's not. I demand you tell me who you are!" The Master told her getting annoyed and angry her voice changed, now she spoke as a Pyrovile.

"We... Are... Awakening." The Pyrovile said through the High Priestess.

"The voice of the gods!" The priestesses shouted as one.

"Words of wisdom, words of power. Words of wisdom, words of power." The sisters started to chant and carried on like this even as the Doctor and Master spoke over them.

"Name yourself! Planet of origin. Galactic coordinates. Species designation according to the universal ratification of the Shadow Proclamation." The Doctor demanded of them, now he knew he was taking to whatever the seers were turning into and Harry could feel the Master and the Doctor in front of him getting angry, the Doctor had the full oncoming storm out in force.

"We…. Are…. Rising!" The High Priestess replied this time to the Doctors demands.

"Name Yourself!" The Master demanded instead of the Doctor and then the Master pulled a water pistol full of water out of one of his pockets. like Harry and the Doctor, he had bigger on the inside pockets. Squirting her with it which caused her to burn up where he hit her in the face making her cry out in pain.

"Pyrovile!" The High Priestess shouted after the pain stopped, sending the other sisters into a chant of their name.

"Arbitrator, get the grid open over there, Donna, you help him, the Doctor and I will keep an eye on the Pyrovile inside of her!" The Master ordered both Harry and Donna. While Harry and Donna were doing that, the Master and Doctor were grilling the Pyrovile on why they were in Pompeii and what they hoped to accomplish. The Master and the Doctor found out their home world had gone missing and so they would turn this planet into a new one for themselves. They had come down in their escape pod thousands of years ago but manged to reform for the dust they had turned into upon impact seventeen years ago, to be what they were now. The Doctor connected it to the earthquake Pompeii had had seventeen years ago also. It had awoken the Pyrovile and they had managed to reform themselves. Soon all four of them were down the grate running towards where the volcano was located on the outskirts of Pompeii in Mount Vesuvius.

"That's why they don't think there is going to be a volcano tomorrow because there won't be." The Doctor explained to Donna as they were running.

"What do you mean?" Donna asked. But before anyone could answer they were in the main chamber and Lucius was there asking for blessings for the work he had done with the cult of Vulcan. When Lucius saw the four of them, he shouted to the Pyrovile to kill the four of them as they were unbelievers and were there to stop their glorious work. The Master ended up spraying another Pyrovile with his water pistol to get past the Pyrovile that were in the chamber and all four of them jumped into the escape pod the Pyrovile had come down in first the Master then Harry followed by Donna and then the Doctor. The Doctor sealed it shut behind himself as soon as he was inside with them all cramped inside of it looking it so the Pyrovile couldn’t get in.

"Could we be any more trapped or cramped for space?" Donna asked the Doctor and Master with her usual attitude. The Doctor was sat in the front of the pod with Donna next to him and Harry and the Master crammed in behind them. Then Donna felt the heat rising in the escape pod they were in or what the Doctor thought was one.

"Little bit hot!" Donna commented next with her usual sassy attitude.

"See? The energy converter takes the lava, uses the power to create a fusion matrix, which welds Pyrovile to human. Now it's complete, they can convert the millions of humans that are on the planet in this time seventy five AD." The Doctor explained with sadness in his voice.

"But can't you change it? With these controls?" Donna asked concerned for the people that were turning into stone like Evelyn and any others that might also not knowing what was totally going on, but the three Time Lords did now.

"Of course I can, but don't you see? That's why the soothsayers can't see the volcano. There is no volcano. Vesuvius is never going to erupt. The Pyrovile are stealing all of its power and they are going to use it to take over the world they will be able to convert everyone on the planet into a Pyrovile with the heat from this volcan alone as I said around one hundred million people all turned into a Pyroville." The Doctor explained again with sadness in his voice.

"But.... You can change it back?" Donna asked next worried and still not totally understanding.

"I can invert the system, set off the volcano, and blow them up, yes. But... That's the choice, Donna. It's Pompeii or the world, I have to choose one or the other." The Doctor explained to Donna looking at her so she could see his face.

"Oh, my God." Donna replied in shock when it sank in what the Doctor meant.

"If Pompeii is destroyed then it's not just history. It's me. I make it happen." The Doctor spoke really upset this was yet another civilisation the Doctor would have to burn so the universe would live on.

"But the Pyrovile are all made of rocks you said, maybe they can't be blown up by the volcano." Donna suggested nearly begging it to be true.

"Mount Vesuvius will explode with the force of twenty four nuclear bombs. Nothing can survive it. Certainly not us." The Master explained to Donna not at all happy with the situation they now found themselves in.

"Never mind us!" Donna shouted at the Master.

"Push this lever and it's over. Over sixteen thousand people dead by my hand yet again." The Doctor explained to Donna. The Doctor seemed so uncertain as to what to do, unwilling to take responsibility for so many deaths, even for the sake of the whole planet. Donna put her hand on the Doctors shoulder. They looked at each other, Before either could do or say anything Harry spoke.

"iswaswillbe I was given the option to do this or" Harry started to explain as he pushed the leaver that the Doctor had pointed out would set the volcano off only he didn't get to finish as all hell broke loose. Those with the gift of foresight screamed in agony as they saw the future change and a new prophecy of Pompeii being destroyed was created.

"Get out before it rolls again!" Were the first words coherently heard after the volcano erupted. It was the Master who shouted them out at the other three in there, and he was pushing Harry in front of himself to get Harry out of the escape pod door the Master had just opened. They all piled out and looked behind them, lava was flowing out of the top running down the sides of the now active volcano.

"Arbitrator, set SATURN up to return us to the TARDIS doors, now!" The Master demanded next as soon as they were all out. Everyone grabbed him and two buttons and a twist of the knob on the control unit to alter their course and they were all stood in front of the TARDIS doors.

"Help us!" Were the first words they heard shouted at them as they landed in front of the TARDIS and when they turned around, they could see ash settling everywhere and all of Caecilius' family surrounding Evelyn, his wife, son and himself were crouched over her covering her.

"Please help us we don't know what going on!" Caecilius spoke again worried for not only himself but mainly his family.

"Compassion, remember Doctor." Harry told the Doctor gently. Hearing that the Doctor took a deep breath and looked over to the family of four.

"Come with us, you’ll have to leave most of your things, but we can get you out, you have less than a minute to get anything of extreme value you can carry to make a new life for yourselves." The Doctor told the whole family with authority. Then the Doctor placed his key into the TARDIS, looking at the other three with him and got nods of them all in agreement with his decision Harry gave the Doctor a small smile. Caecilius and Quintus ran around grabbing money pouches and fine tools for Caecilius job as well as anything made of pure gold, within less than a minute they were both back with a bag over each shoulder obviously one for each of the family and were helping Metella and Evely up. Harry pushed them into the TARDIS and was followed by Donna then the Master came up the rear shutting the door.

"It's massive inside!" Quintus spoke in shock, so everyone heard seeing the inside of the TARDIS.

"As I said we can take you out of here. Put your stuff down and hold onto the railing along there." The Doctor told them while pointing at the railing that went around some of the control room side.

"Arbitrator, Rome please just on the outskirts. Now!" The Doctor demanded next. Harry just nodded to the Doctor and ran to the console unit and inputted the details and releasing the break, they were gone and five seconds later they were rephasing back into being on the outskirts of Rome where they wouldn't be noticed.

"We are just on the outskirts of Rome just a day after what you witnessed in Pompeii, it leads credence to a story that you got out in plenty of time and made it here. That eruption, that type of mountain is called a volcano, it’s why no one knew what the name meant. It’s why we couldn't stop it from happening there was nothing we could do, were really sorry for everything you have lost but if it wasn't for the Doctor, you would unfortunately be dead a volcano kills all in its path until the lava settles. The Doctor saved your lives today but you can never tell anyone you left Pompeii later than it would take for you to travel to here by normal means. The household gods that you thought Evelyn was seeing which was turning her skin to rock is actually poison hopefully over time it will heal now, if it continues to spread you must have the forearm removed! At least an inch above the where the stone reaches, so keep an eye on it for that as I said if it does carry on spreading then it must be removed, or it will kill her it will cover her whole body eventually and as I said it will cause her death and it will not be peaceful even her outside would first start to turn into stone and then her inside organs will turn to stone until she eventually looked like that monster we killed that jumped through your grate she unfortunately would die in agony as she turned more and more so keep your eye on it and if it doesn’t heal remove it it’s is better to live disabled than die like that!” Harry informed them in graphic detail ensuring that they knew that Evelyn’s forearm may have to be removed with her hand if the skin didn’t start to heal.

"Well, Caecilius, Metella, Evaline and Quintus, enjoy the rest of your lives and make sure they have meaning." The Doctor spoke to them all.

"Thank-you Doctor for saving us, you and your family will always be in our prayers you saved our lives today." Caecilius told the Doctor shaking his hand then grabbing the Doctor to hug him for saving them. With that everyone else said goodbye to each other and the Doctor opened the doors for Caecilius’ family to be able to leave the TARDIS and move into the streets of Rome. Once they were gone Harry sent them into the Time vortex, Harry knew the Doctor and the Master wated to talk to him.

"Son you shouldn't have put that on your shoulders. I would have set the volcano off. The Doctor said upset that Harry had done that at his young age the Doctor felt Harry was the Master’s and his son and they were the adults the Doctor felt that either the Master or he should have done it, but Harry did it himself.

"I've already told you Pere it is my duty as you well know I gave you the passphrase as we agreed, however there maybe others out there just because their home world is gone doesn't mean they all ended up here. But either way there are times that I will have the option of having to make those calls. This was one such occasion. Yes, you could have pushed that lever both you and Donna could have done it together, it was between you and her, we were behind you, but you already carry to much guilt for deaths you feel you have caused, even sharing this one with Donna which is what she was going to offer to ease that guilt would have still weighed heavily on you. Harry gently explained to the Doctor. The Master and Donna were listening in.

"Okay you two it is done the fixed point in Time remained one. Son, go and start something to eat please while we three get showered and changed, then I'll look after it while you do the same. We'll stay in the Time vortex for a while. Then after food the Doctor and I want to talk to you in your room." The Master first told then both and then told Harry what to do while making his way towards the living areas on the TARDIS.
