Summary
What if the marauders gen were born in 2010? If Severus didn't meet Lily before Hogwarts? If Severus's father forbade him from going to Hogwarts? It's 2023 and after his father died thirteen year old Severus Snape begins his first year at Hogwarts, though with his fellow third years thanks to extensive studies. Things are incredibly different this time, though, without him there the first two years, the addition of technology, and removal of Voldemort. It helps that Lucius Malfoy almost immediately bought him new clothes, school supplies, hygiene products, and more upon meeting him.Updated every Wednesday Eastern Standard TimeWhat things have changed? Stayed the same? How will friendships develop? Will the marauders be so antagonistic to Severus this time? And, without Voldemort, are the Death Eater kids really so bad this time around?(Most ships and stuff don't develop until much later as this fic is going to cover all of their 3rd-7th years. I couldn't tag everything, as a result any triggering stuff will be at the start of each chapter and the first chapter will just be a list of things like autistic characters and will grow overtime.)

First Saturday Post Classes Pt. 1

Saturday, September 9th, 2023

Severus woke up at 7:00 A.M. to find Lucius in the same state he was every day that week. “Why are you up? It’s Saturday.” He croaked.

Lucius stopped walking with a sigh. “Oh, good! I was scared you’d sleep in even longer than you usually do!”

“I was planning on it.” Severus groaned. “In fact, I’m going back to sleep now.”

“No you’re not.” Lucius walked over and gently pulled the smaller boy out of his bed and into a standing position. “Go get ready so we can get some breakfast.”

Severus thought about disagreeing, but instead stomped over to the closet and into the bathroom. Lucius was making him way too soft.

The two boys made it to the entrance hall after breakfast at 8:05, Lucius in jeans and a Slytherin tee-shirt, and Severus wearing a cropped metalic blue hoodie with ‘happy’ written in white cursive on the front(it was ironic, fuck off and leave him alone)and black jeans.

“Where are we going?” Severus asked through the sleeve of his hoodie as he attempted to wipe the last of the butter off his face.

“Where do you want to go?”

Severus shrugged, still wiping at his mouth. “Where’s Evans?”

“Probably asleep.” Lucius admitted, much to Severus’s annoyance.

“Why aren’t we asleep?”

“I always get up at 6:00.”

“But, why? That’s so depressing.”

The blonde shrugged. “Always have.”

“I usually don’t get up until 11:30 at the earliest.” Severus complained. “I don’t even know what a person is supposed to do with sixteen hours of time. That’s how many’s left if you sleep eight hours, right?”

“It is. And there’s plenty of things.”

“Like what?”

“We could go to the library, or the lake, or could do our homework, or—”

“You’re the most boring person I’ve ever met.” Severus declared before walking off towards the front doors.

“Where are you going?” Lucius asked after running to catch up with the other.

“Somewhere interesting.”

It took until 8:30 for Severus to find ‘something interesting’, but once he did it was a gold mine. “Ey, is this that forbidden cause it’ll like make you full on die forest amplifier-wall said we can’t go into cause he doesn’t want us having fun?”

“I—what—yes….But what the fuck does ‘amplifier-wall’ mean?”

“Y’know the headmaster.” Severus answered, leading the way towards said forbidden forest.

“Dumbledore?” Lucius asked. “Why did you call him amplifier-wall?”

“That’s his name.” Was Severus would say before entering the thick wall of trees.

“Um, I really don’t think this is the best place for us to go.”

“Then go study.”

Lucius did not go study.
