Chapter 1
A/N: This first work is going to mainly focus on how the first book would have been seen from an outside perception while the others will focus more on the original plots. I do not agree with JK Rowling. I just like the books. I don’t own Stranger Things or Harry Potter. There are also some direct quotes from the books. Not everything is going to apply to canon including dates, events, and birthdays. Besides those I hope you enjoy!
April 16th, 1980, was as normal as a day could be in the middle of a war. The first wizarding war was raging on. It seemed as if the war would continue forever. A couple by the name of Lily and James Potter were expecting a child in early August and had been put under the fidelius charm. James’s best friends Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew were continuing to fight in the war. On this particular day however Sirius and Remus weren’t fighting and were in their shared apartment.
“You can’t go then that’s the night after the full moon!”
“I’ll be fine, Padfoot. Besides it’s for Dumbledore I owe him.” said Remus. Remus wasn’t a normal wizard as many would expect. He was a werewolf. A creature that's said to be a bloodthirsty killer. A werewolf like Remus, covered head to toe in scars from full moons, would never be allowed to go to Hogwarts under the Ministry but a man by the name of Albus Dumbledore was able to pull some strings to make sure Remus could have an education even though he would probably never be able to get a job in the wizarding world or in the muggle one.
“Remus you don’t-”
Knock Knock
“Were you expecting someone?” asked Remus.
“Deatheaters.” said Sirius, “Get out your wand.” They both swiftly took their wands out and held them towards the door. Sirius peered out the window.
Nothing.
Well, that couldn’t be we just heard knocking. He thought.
Sirius hesitantly opened the door. He looked around. Nothing again until he looked down.
A child? A small one at that. The child looked too small for any child to ever be. It was asleep seemingly peacefully.
“Sirius put your wand down.”
“It could be a death eater,” He replied.
“A child Sirius!” Said Remus exasperated, “Don’t be Daft! There’s a note with your name on it.” He picked up the note and handed it to Sirius. WIth a certain reluctance he opened the note.
Sirius Black,
You may not remember me, but my name is Elizabeth Loreli Taylor. I was visiting London for 4 weeks about 8 months ago and we met in a shop near the British Wizarding school.
We hung out for the night and the product of that is the reason I am sending you this letter.
This is your daughter. She was born a month and a half early on April 4th, 1980. She hasn’t been named so that is up for you to decide.
I am in the middle of my education at a muggle college and can’t take care of her. My parents and the rest of my family have passed and have given all of their inheritance to my brother who is a squib and who I do not have a good relationship with. So, I am now poor and don’t have the money to take care of her. I want to give her her best chance and that is with you.

Sirius read over the note one more time just to make sure he read it right. He folded it back up and handed it to Remus, not even bothering to look at him.
“Oh merlin,” cried Sirius.
“Godric” Remus said after reading the letter. “Sirius, grab your daughter.” Sirius then reached down and grabbed her off the ground. She had eyes awfully similar to his and a full head of blonde hair. “What are you going to do?”
“I don’t know Remus!” Sirius said as he stood in thought, “Remus, can you hold her while I owl James.”
Please come over urgently. It’s an emergency..

There was a knock at the door.
“Wow you got here fast.” Sirius said to James and a pregnant Lily at the front door.
“You said it was an emergency and to come over Padfoot,” said James.
“Urgently,” said Sirius.
“Urgently.” replied James.
“What’s the emergency?” Interrupted Lilly. Sirius looked speechless like a deer in headlights.
“You might just want to come in and look.” Remus responded for Sirius.
Lily and James then walked in and took a look at what was sitting on the couch.
“Sirius, you kidnapped a child!” yelped James.
“What no-”
Holy merlin Sirius, how did you even take this child!”
“James, no one-”
“Where did it even come from? Its parents are probably looking for him or her! SIRIUS WHY DID YOU KIDNAP A CHILD-”
“JAMES!” Lilly yelled, “No one kidnaped a child! Now boys what happened. Whose child is this?”
“Sirius's,” said Remus.
“I’m sorry what?” James and Lily said simultaneously.
“About 8 months ago I was hanging out with this woman at Hogsmeade, and things happened and now- that!” Sirius said, firing wild gestures around the room.
“Well… our son will have a friend?” That earned James a smack on the head from Lily.
“Well tell us?” Lily said. Sirius looked awfully confused, “Is it a boy or a girl?”
“She’s a girl.”
“What’s her name?” James asked.
“She doesn’t have one.” replied Sirius, “How about you and Lily pick her first name and Remus you can pick her middle name.”
“Well how about Delilah?” Lily replied, “That was one of our names if our son was a girl.”
“Yeah.” Said Sirius, “Remus?”
“You might not like this SIrius. What about Arcturus? After your brother.”
“Yeah,” Replied Sirius, “Delilah Arcturus Black.”
