Little king

James started cooking dinner. I watched him from the counter. He put on a music. I laughed as he danced and sang. I imagined what it would be like if we would get married. He’s cooking while I play with our kids. We’d show them the field. We’d spend hours there. He’d give me small kisses every time he could. And after the kids fell asleep we shag all night. He’d bring me coffee in the morning. He’d take me on dates. I’d buy him flowers. We’d tell them we met when we were teenagers and fell in love at first sight like in the movies. I’d teach the kids french. We’d call Sirius and Remus to take care of the kids while we go out. They’d grow up with Sirius and Remus’ children. They would have the best childhood, way better than I had. When they get a little older I’d teach them how to play the piano. We’d travel the world, we’d visit every place they want. They’d bring their girlfriends or boyfriends for family dinners sometimes. James and I would go out for a week and let them be and we’d fight with them because they made a party even though we said no party, but honestly we’d just laugh about it. Barty, Evan, Sirius and Remus would be their uncles. We’d have a house in England and here, in France too. When we’re in England they could visit their grandparents. It would be beautiful.

- Is everything alright, love? – James asked.

- Yeah, why? – I said.

- You were really quiet. – he walked to me and hugged me.

- I thought about our lifes later. If w eget married. – I said.

- Marriage? Should I go buy a ring now or? – he laughed.

- Not now. Later. A few years from now. – I said.

- I’d marry you right now if that’s what you want. – he wispered.

- We still have a lot of time. We met a week ago and you’d already marry me? – I asked.

- Yeah, I know I’m gonna love you forever. And you brought up the marriage topic. – he said. This man, this man is like a dream. He’s just so… adorable, amazing… perfect.

- If you’d propose to me right now I would say yes. – I said. – I’d always say yes.

- The food is ready if you wanna eat. – he said.

- Let’s see how good of a cook are you. – I said.

It was delicious, he’s good at everything.

- Can I have this dance? – he asked after we finished eating.

- Why not. – he grabbed my hand and pulled me in. He put his hands around my waist and I put mine around his neck. He was good in dancing too. At the end of the song he kissed me.

- I love you – he wispered to me.

- I love you too – I wispered back. – Can I take you out on a date?

He nodded fastly.

- Where? – he asked.

- Surprise. – I said. This made him smile.

I grabbed his hand and led him out of the house. We walked through empty streets. We arrived to a flower shop.

- Wait here, I’ll be back in a minute. – I said and walked in the shop. When I walked out of the shop I had a bouquet of flowers in my hand. – This is yours.

- Thank you. 9 roses, does it mean something? – he asked.

- It means I want to be with you forever. – I said.

- I-I don’t know what to say. These are beautiful. And you are… perfect. And I wanna be with you forever too. And I-I… - I stopped him.

- You don’t have to say anything. But come on, we need to walk a little more. – I said. He started telling me stories about his friends and family. He told me what he talked about me to Peter at the party. Of course he didn’t tell him it was me, but he told him everything. James and Peter are childhood friends. They grew up together. James was there for Peter when no one else was. That’s James, he always puts others in front of himself. – This isn’t as beautiful as the field, but this is my favorite place. Second favorite.

- What’s the first? – he asked.

- Your arms. – I said. – I feel like I could melt every time you hug me.

We still had to walked a little bit. The sun was going down.

- We’re here. – I said. It was a lake. It looked beautiful in the sunset’s orange light.

- It’s gorgeous. – he said.

- When I was smaller I always came here when my parents fought. This was peaceful. The only noise was the birds and the fish. – I sat down.

James sat down next to me and wrapped his arm around me. We watched as the sun went down.

- That’s Regulus. – I pointed at a star. – And that’s Sirius.

- You really shine. – he said. – What do you know about your star?

- Regulus, also known as Alpha Leonis, is the brightest star in the constellation Leo the Lion. – I started. - You can locate Regulus at the base of a star pattern that appears like a backwards question mark. This pattern, known as the Sickle, makes up the head and forequarters of Leo the Lion. Regulus is one of three bright stars to make up the asterism known as the Spring Triangle. It’s the 21st in the list of brightest stars in the sky. It’s most visible around February 18. Regulus is the only 1st magnitude star to sit almost squarely on the ecliptic, which marks the path of the sun, moon and planets across the sky. The name Regulus is from the diminutive form of the Latin rex, meaning little king.

- Little king, it fits you well. – James said.

- I’m not little. – I said.

- Yeah, yeah, sure. – he smiled. – You know a lot about astrology.

- Yeah, like I said, I read a lot. I have a lot of books about astrology, I find it interesting. – I said. – There are so many things in the sky undiscovered. There are different universes.

- I don’t know a lot about universes, but I’m sure if there are people in them, we definitely found each other in every single one. – James said.

- I don’t know, I think it’s enough if one Regulus has to deal with a James. – I said.

- Hey!

I started laughing and kissed him.

- I hope every Regulus found his James, but there’s no way they’re as amazing as mine.

- Yours. I’m yours and only yours.

- And I am only yours.

I don’t know when, but I fell asleep. Right there, in the light of the stars, in the soft grass, in his arms. I’d stay here forever. When I woke up we were still lying on the grass. It’s sunrise. James is still sleeping. I can’t move. His holding me really thight, like if he wouldn’t then I would dissapear, but i won’t, I’d never leave him.

- Good morning – he said trying to open his eyes.

- Did I wake you up? – I asked.

- No.

- Okay, good. I don’t wanna wake you up. You look really cute when you sleep. – I said.

He sat up. His hair was full of grass.

- What? – he asked when I started laughing.

- There’s something in your hair. – I tried to get the grass out of his hair. I looked at him for a little bit. I like looking at him. Just watching him, nothing else.

- What? – he asked again.

- You look beautiful. Your messy hair, your tired eyes, your little smile, it’s just beautiful. – I said.

- Really?

- Really.

He kissed my cheeks.

- What is this? Kiss me properly. – I said. He kissed my lips, pushed me to the ground. I grabbed his shirt and pulled him down to kiss him. I was really turned on. I took off my shirt, then his. He started kissing my neck. – James, my body is already full of hickeys.

- I’m sure there’s place for a few more. – he said between too kisses. He went from my neck to my collarbone to my chest to my abs , he took off my pants and started kissing my inner thighs. He went back to kissing my lips while he moved his waist to mine. I let out small moans. He took off his pants and didn’t even waited. He put his cock inside me. He was moving so fast, oh gosh.

- Fuck, James! – I moaned in his mouth. I wrapped my legs around his waist to be closer to him. – Shit

- Aren’t you affraid somebody will hear us? – he asked.

- No, there’s shit – I moaned. - nothing oh fuck – I moaned again. – in miles. Fucking hell, James! I’m gonna cum.

He stopped.

- Wait. No, don’t stop. – I said. He took my cock in his mouth. – Fuck! – And I came. Now I took his cock in my mouth.

- Oh, fuck! Yes! – he moaned. – Shit! – he came. We started dressing up.

- I think we should go now. What we did wasn’t really legal. – I said.

- Can’t we just stay for one more minute? – he asked.

- The puppy eyes won’t work on me. – I said. – Get dressed!

- They won’t put you in jail, you’re the king. - he said.

- Don’t be so sure about that. - I started dressing up.

- You should come to my house. I don’t wanna leave Sirius and Remus alone for so long and I don’t wanna leave you alone. - he said.

- Okay - I said. He grabbed my hand and we went to his house. It was huge. He barely comes here and he has such a huge house.

- James, you’re back. - Remus said. - Hi, Regulus. Wait what? Regulus?

- Hello, Remus. - I said.

- So you two… so that’s where you’ve been yesterday. Does Sirius know? - Remus asked.

- Yes, he knows. - James answered.

- What do I know? - Sirius asked.

- That your brother fucks your best friend. - Remus said.

- I don’t fuck his best friend, - I said. - he fucks me.

- I think I’m gonna vomit. - Sirius said.

- You’re so dramatic. - I rolled my eyes.

- You are too, love. - James said.

- Whos side are you on, dear? - I asked.

- Yours, of course. - he said. – Let me show you around.

He showed me the house, at the 4th floor I thought I would pass out. Then we went to his room. It was red and golden. He had magazines all over his unmade bed. His clothes were ont he floor. His room was just as messy as him.

- Sorry for the mess, I didn’t have time to clean up. – James said. He put away his magazines and sat down on the bed.

- It’s okay. – I said. – Is that a guitar?

- Yeah, I have plenty of them. – he said.

- Can you play something to me? – I asked.

- Yeah, of course. I- I - he mumbled. – I actually wrote a song.

- Let’s hear it then. – I smiled at him.

- It’s not really good. – he said quietly.

- I’m sure it’s beautiful. – I hugged him from behind.

He took his guitar. He seemed a little nervous.

- It’s okay to be nervous, you don’t have to play if you don’t want to. – I wispered.

- I want to. – he said. He took a deep breath and started playing. - We could leave the Christmas lights up 'til January, this is our place, we make the rules. And there's a dazzling haze, a mysterious way about you dear. Have I known you 20 seconds or 20 years? – he sang. - Can I go where you go? Can we always be this close forever and ever? And ah, take me out, and take me home. You're my, my, my, my lover. We could let our friends crash in the living room. This is our place, we make the call. And I'm highly suspicious that everyone who sees you wants you. I've loved you three summers now, honey, but I want 'em all. Can I go where you go? Can we always be this close forever and ever?
And ah, take me out, and take me home. You're my, my, my, my lover. Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand? With every guitar string scar on my hand. I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover. My heart's been borrowed and yours has been blue. All's well that ends well to end up with you. Swear to be overdramatic and true to my lover. And you'll save all your dirtiest jokes for me. And at every table, I'll save you a seat, lover. Can I go where you go? Can we always be this close forever and ever? And ah, take me out, and take me home. You're my, my, my, my. Oh, you're my, my, my, my. Darling, you're my, my, my, my lover.

I listened to him singing. He has a beautiful voice.

- It was beautiful. – I said. – But three years?

- Yeah, three years ago I came here for vacation. I was walking in the forest when I saw you. You were with Sirius. You were crying. Your arm was full of scars. And Sirius said something and you smiled. The light in your eyes lit up again. Ever sincet hat moment I knew I’ll love you for the rest of my life. – he explained.

- I was crying and you still fell for me? – I asked.

- And I fell more and more for you every moment since then. – he said.

- You’re the best boyfriend I could ever have. – I said.

- You deserve the best. – he said. I kissed him. After that he pulled me into a hug. – I love you. – he wispered.
