Parental Trauma (part 2)
"Obliviate me."
Hadriana watched as the Dark Lord processed her request, blinking a few times before: "Pardon?"
"Obliviate me. Remove my memory," Hadriana all but demanded as she crossed her arms in front of her.
"What memory? What happened?" Tom asked as he stood from his chair and walked towards her, his hands immediately reaching out for hers.
Hadriana's lower lip trembled. "I saw Dad and Pepper in a...a compromising position."
To somehow prove her point, the hologram screen in her mindscape played the exact moment she walked in on her Dad and his girlfriend.
Tom watched the scene play out before turning his attention to her and Hadriana saw a brief gobsmack expression on his face. "Please? Obliviate me?"
The Dark Lord blinked before erupting into pure, unadulterated laughter. Tom was openly, genuinely laughing to the point of wheezing and having to hold her tighter for support. She pouted, being too incredibly annoyed that he found amusement in her situation. After what seemed like forever, his eyes alight with pure amusement focused on her traumatized ones. "No."
"Noooooooo. Please, Tom!" She grabbed his arms but the Dark Lord had a different idea in mind as he picked her up and sat her on his lap on the couch in front of the fireplace. "I'm traumatized, you've got to obliviate me!"
"There, there, you'll survive," Tom chided as he ran his fingers through her hair, his chest still shaking with laughter.
"Bloody bastard. I hate you," Hadriana grumbled with as much heat as she could while Tom's arms tightened around her.
"You're a bastard too, darling."
"Hmp."
