Hogwarts : The Bangtan Episode
Summary
Jungkook is a first year at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Haunted by ghosts of his past, he struggles to meet friends and fit in until a ray of sunshine Slytherin, and a Hufflepuff with infinite hair colors step in. Throw in a genius (but people-stupid) Ravenclaw, a terrifying and maybe evil Slytherin who just wants to sleep, a Hufflepuff who is all fun and games until he tries to hurt you on the quidditch field, and a Prefect who's face lives up to it's name, and you've got yourself Jungkook's new life.I wonder what would happen if bad people started lurking and doing bad things around our beloved ragtag social project.Their ages are totally not accurate to book ages, so just make them older teens in your head.

An hour before

“Okay, we’ll be back soon. Write if you need anything-” Namjoon said while leading Hoseok into the hallway. They quietly shut the Hospital Wing door, walking slowly towards the kitchens where Jin should be.

“Why do you think Jungkook hit that pole?” Hoseok asked, hands in his pocket.

“No clue. He looked tired, but it’s really unlike him. I’m sure we’ll hear the reason when he wakes up,” Namjoon shrugged. Hoseok nodded, absentmindedly kicking a small pebble at his feet.

“You think him and Jimin are snogging?”

“Oh totally,” Namjoon replied. “I saw them.”

No way.”

“Yes way. It was this Thursday, and I was going for a jog past the forest, trying to think of ways to write to the Ministry, when I heard something in the trees. It sounded like struggling, so I went in there, and saw Jimin play-wrestling with Jungkook’s wolf form. He ran away all weird and shit-”

“Like Baywatch?”

“What?”

“Uh,” Hoseok rubbed his neck. “Was Jimin running in like, slow motion? And was his hair and ass bouncing all hot like?”

“I didn’t look at his ass. But, I guess so?”

“Knew it.”

“Anyway,” Namjoon said. “He escaped Jungkook, only for the Gryffindor to transform, body tackle Jimin against a tree, and then they were like, swallowing each other’s tongues. It was disgusting.”

“Oh please,” Hoseok laughed. “Don’t act like you and Jin don’t do that too.”

Namjoon sputtered and turned red.

“Well, no, uh, I mean yeah, but-”

They rounded the corner, crossing the entryway to the Great Hall. Footsteps got loud from behind them and Jin jogged up to them.

“There’s the man,” Hoseok chuckled. “Hey Hyung, do you like Namjoon’s tongue?”

“Hoseok!” Jin said angrily, out of breath. “We have to go-”

“Don’t avoid the subject,” Hoseok said. “I asked if you like his tongue.”

“You IDIOT!” Jin screeched, grabbing both of their ears and dragging them away. “We have to go NOW! I’ve got everything packed, where are the kids-”

“Ow, ow, ow, Hyung please, ow, ow-” Jin let go of Namjoon’s ear and kept marching towards the staircases. “Jin please, what’s going on?!”

“It’s Junki! He’s escaped!”

What?”

“I visited the kitchens, and it turns out Teeth was murdered recently. She had all these letters on her that proves Junki is free, and I ran into Yoongi in the fire in my common room! He called to say he heard his parents whispering about Junki, and that he’s trying to get the Ministry to come help. He doesn’t know if Junki is going home or coming here, but we have to get out!”

“That. . . that doesn’t make sense,” Namjoon said.

“What?”

“How did he escape? Recently too? It’s uncalled for, we haven’t heard anything from Azkaban since Jameson and Lee got out, along with the dead photographer who went there and-holy shit.

“What?!”

“It’s Junki.” Namjoon said, going pale.

“What do you mean?” Hoseok said, giving Namjoon a weird look.

“The killer. It’s always been Junki. From day one. That’s why he knew about Yoongi. That’s why Seok Jung was targeted, and because Junki is a death eater, he’s trying to get the stone to contact Voldemort.”

“But that doesn’t make sense, what’s that Alvis guy have to do with it?”

“I bet. . . fuck, I bet Junki killed Alexander when he came to take pictures of Azkaban. He must’ve escaped using Alexander’s likeness or something, took his place at home. He probably planted Alvis who was the real Junki’s father, and used an Unforgivable curse to make him kill that seeker-”

“But what about Jameson and Lee?” Jin asked. “Why did they die?”

“A distraction!” Hoseok said, eyes lighting up. “Junki didn’t care about them, he only wanted to make sure he found the stone. He must’ve poisoned them, letting them get away and think they were safe. Then they died. So he came here, and has been looking for it-”

“The painting,” Namjoon said suddenly. “We should check the painting.”

The three boys started running, and Jin gasped. “Why the painting?”

“Taehyung’s dreams. They’ve all been right. Everything he told us. The only thing we never checked was the painting-” They rounded the corridor corner, only to find the painting missing.

Shit, shit, shit-”

“We have to contact the others,” Namjoon said, pulling the paper out of his coat. He quickly scribbled a message onto it, then he shoved it back in his pocket. “We should go protect them in case Junki acts tonight, but shit. It’s Junki. We can’t fight him-”

“I’ll fly to the Headmistress,” Hoseok said. “I don’t care if she finds out. He’ll kill the others if I don’t. The game hasn’t ended yet, but maybe I can keep them all safe outside-”

“Go, go!” Namjoon shooed Hoseok away, and the youngest transformed, flying through a nearby window.

“We need more help. We can’t hope to beat him,” Namjoon said. “I’m going to go get Yoongi. His family’s manor is like, ten miles away. It’ll take me twenty minutes. I’ll come back with help, you should go protect the younger ones, they’re in the hospital wing. Jungkook crashed into a pole and I doubt Junki is there already-”

Jin grabbed Namjoon’s shoulders, smashing their lips together. Namjoon was frozen at first, his brain running too quickly to slow down and enjoy it. When Jin pulled back, he rested his forehead against his boyfriend’s.

You’re so smart. You figured it out. Please be safe. I love you.”

“You too-” Namjoon whispered. “Be careful. I don’t know. . .  I just, I. . . I don’t know what I’d do without you. You’re all I have left.”

“If we. . . if we make it out of this,” Jin muttered. “I’ll help you with your parents.”

Namjoon leaned back, eyes wide.

“How do you-”

“It doesn’t matter. I know. You’re not alone, and we all love you so much. But go. We need to get help. I’ll stall Junki the best I can until Hoseok or you get back. Please, hurry-” Jin pecked Namjoon’s cheek and lightly pushed his chest towards the window. “Go.”

Namjoon took one last look at Jin and nodded, turning his head awkwardly and transforming into an owl. He soared out the window and took off into the night, and Jin watched for a few seconds, wondering if he’d ever see him again. Hopefully.

He wished he could stay there by the window, watching in peace as Namjoon flew off. He wished it wasn’t like this, that they had to be the ones to save the school. They had been forced into such a horrible place, but Jin knew they had to do this. Hogwarts needed them. He took off at a sprint, wand in hand.

He remembered his mother used to tell him not to run with his wand, that he might trip and fall. It was such a soft memory, Jin couldn’t help but wonder if he’d ever see her again. He hoped so, because she'd be able to write another best-seller about his year. Maybe it’d have a happy ending, one where he got to live in peace with his friends. He silently wished for any ending except a traditional wizard story ending, because then, he knew he would be running towards his doom. It wasn’t like he wished to meet death, it was something he never had on his bucket list, but they needed him. Jin would be damned if he lost his friends to some pathetic jail bird creep.

Jin made it to the Hospital Wing in record time, slowing to a stop when he saw the wall and door. Junki must have forced his way through, because the entire wall and wood door was cracked. Dust and rubble lay on the ground in heaps, and Jin had to carefully step over it. He stuck low to the ground and close to the wall, unsure of what exactly he was about to encounter.

Sounds of struggling caught his attention and Jin peaked around the corner.

Taehyung was the first thing he saw. He was unconscious, dust coated his face and hair. It seemed he had fallen and hit his head, for a few red blood drops had stained the floor around him. His hair had turned black and dull, and for a second, Jin wondered if he was breathing. The next thing he saw was probably the most horrific.

A man who looked uncomfortably like Yoongi had Jimin pinned against the floor, hunched over him and whispering something to him. Jimin was kicking and struggling, but they must’ve been there a while because Jimin was slowing down and losing his will to fight. Jin raised his wand, ready to fire something at Junki, but he paused. What if he hit Jimin?

He chose not to, he had the upper hand right now. Junki didn’t know he was there, if he could just get to Jungkook’s bed-

It was then that Junki stood up, towering over Jimin on the ground. The little Slytherin lay still, eyes closed and unconscious. Jin prayed Junki didn’t do anything to him, but it was hard to tell.

Junki was much taller than Yoongi. He was probably around Jin’s height, but much more muscular and crazed looking. He was incredibly pale and clean looking, except for the dark red that he wiped from his mouth. Jin held back a gasp. The blood was on his shirt and the floor, dripping from his chin. Jin took another glance at Jimin, horrified to see the younger one was paler than usual and what was that red smear on his neck-

“I know you’re there,” Junki said, staring right at Jin’s hiding place. “It’s okay. You can come out.”

Jin didn’t move a muscle. Was he supposed to? He wasn’t sure, they never taught him what to do in an active hostage situation in DADA.

Slowly, he stepped out from behind the corner, gripping his wand. He kept it pointed at Junki, who watched him with almost bored eyes. From here, Jin could see him even better. He looked just like how he remembered him as a seventh year, cold and apathetic. His skin had no warm hues to it, and even his dark circles were gray. He wore an entirely black outfit, with his dark hair swept back out of his face to show his sunken cheeks and sharp features. If he wasn’t actively standing over Jin’s friend, he might've said Junki was attractive, because he certainly was, but something about the blood dripping down his chin made it hard to admit that.

G-get away from him.” Jin found his voice and stepped closer, keeping two hands on his wand.

“A Gryffindor? Unsurprising,” Junki hummed. “You. . . you look familiar.”

“K-Kim Seokjin.”

“Ah,” Junki said, a small smile creeping onto his face. “Yes, I’ve seen you around. The library with my little brother. Quidditch game announcer. Kissing the smart one in the abandoned charms classroom. Late night Prefect patrols. And recently, in the kitchens, talking to lovely little Wooly.”

“Y-you stay a-away from him!”

“I wouldn’t touch that rat, don’t worry. He has nothing I want. He’s not even a wizard, so I couldn’t care less.”

I don’t believe you. You killed T-Teeth.”

“Teeth? Oh,” Junki let out a laugh that sounded more like a bark. In the moonlight from the window, Jin caught a glimpse of his long fangs that sparkled. “The. . . difficult house elf who knew where it was. Yes, unfortunately she was more perceptive than the rest of her kind. Very stubborn too.”

“You slaughtered her,” Jin whispered, tears in the corners of his eyes.

“She wouldn’t talk,” Junki shrugged, as if torture and murder were normal responses to silence. “Much like your friend here-” Junki lightly nudged Jimin’s head with his boot. Jimin’s head turned to the side, and Jimin saw the bloody mess that was his neck.

“It was a shame,” Junki said, leaning down and holding Jimin’s cheeks in his hand. “He was such a pretty little thing. A Slytherin too. Shame though. He could’ve joined me.”

“He’d n-never!” Jin spoke up, stepping closer. He didn’t know how, but he had to keep stalling, and get Junki away from Jimin. The man must’ve seen Jin trying to get to Jimin, so he casually stepped away from him and leaned against the end of Jungkook’s bed. Jin quickly stumbled forward, keeping his wand pointed at Junki’s neck.

He fell to his knees, frantically checking Jimin’s pulse. Luckily, he felt it, faint and soft, but it was there. He wasn’t dead, not yet anyway.

What do you want?” Jin hissed, feeling his anger take over the fear. “Why have you been torturing us all year?”

Junki laughed, crossing his arms. It might’ve been intentional, but Jin’s eyes glanced at his forearms and saw the toned lines of muscle under sparkling white skin.

“I want the stone. But you already know that, in fact-” Junki walked around to Jungkook’s side, where he gently brushed his hair back with long, clawed hands. “This one found it.”

“No, he didn’t!” Jin said. “He’s been looking forever, torturing himself to beat you to it. If he found it, it’d be long gone-”

“LIES!” Junki roared with laughter, doubling over. Jin jumped to his feet, standing in front of Jimin’s body in protection. “HAHHAHA! You act like such a team, but you all lie! To me! To the teachers! To each other!”

“What are you talking about?” Jin muttered, getting scared again.

“This-” Junki grabbed Jungkook’s neck and held him up, limp in his grip. “This boy found it. Along with little Taehyung-” Junki tilted his head towards Taehyung’s body. “And they didn’t tell you.”

“No, no. . . they wouldn’t-”

“But they did,” Junki smiled, dropping Jungkook’s body back on the bed. “I watched them burn the painting from the castle. I knew it was there, ever since that fucking elf told me so while I slit her throat. She hid it there, coated it in garlic sauce from the kitchens, just to keep me away. She knew I was here, and she knew she couldn't fight me. She was using you all to get the clues, to stop me, like you actually HAD A CHANCE!” He let out another round of hyena-like laughter. “Finally, they burned it, took the fucking stone and ran with it! I couldn’t find them all day, but oh, Jungkookie here. . .” Junki laced his fingers in Jungkook’s hair. “He just can’t stay away from a Quidditch match.”

You made him run into the pole,” Jin said.

“Of course I did,” Junki said. “Just like I killed those students and framed Alvis.”

“They were all Hufflepuff,” Jin said, stepping closer. “Why.”

“Oh, easy really-” Junki let go of Jungkook and pointed at Taehyung. “Him of course. I knew he was my ticket to finding the stone ever since he started writing letters to his little siblings. Mail is so easy to read here at Hogwarts. It was only a matter of time before he started getting dreams I could easily see with legilimency. Then, it was all a waiting game. Soon, I’ll be led by the Dark Lord once again, and the world will be as it should.”

You’re a monster.” Jin felt a tear creep down his cheek, fear making his arms shake.

“Oh, I am.” Junki gestured to his face and bloody shirt. “But you haven’t seen the monster yet.

He took a step away from Jungkook, and Jin panicked, stepping back. The Death Eater had a sinister smile on his face, the hunter had cornered his prey. Months of the chase, finally he could take the kill. Jin’s heart thrashed in his chest, a million spells and ideas crashing in his head, but nothing escaping his mouth. He wouldn’t even let a spell loose from his wand before Junki cut him open, he was a goner, it was over. He’d never see Namjoon’s dimples again, or smell the pie in the Great Hall. He’d never hear Hoseok’s laughter during the holidays, and he’d never get to apologize to Seok Jung for everything he’d said.

Back the fuck up you sociopath.”

Jin’s head whipped to the door, shocked to see Yoongi standing there. He was slightly taller than Jin remembered, but other than that, he had not changed.

“What happened to Hyung?” Junki hissed, pausing a few feet away from Jin.

“You don’t deserve my respect,” Yoongi spat, eyes never leaving his brother’s. “Get away from my real Hyung.”

Junki’s lip curled at that comment, but he stepped back, now standing over Jimin again.

Yoongi walked over, stepping in front of Jin.

I have the wand here, shouldn’t YOU be behind ME?” Jin whispered, noting that Yoongi didn’t even bother taking his wand out. Yoongi chose not to respond.

“You look ugly as fuck. Who did that to you?” Yoongi tilted his chin at Junki’s bloody shirt and fangs.

“Such a respectful dong-saeng. Mom and dad would be thrilled to see us talking again.”

“Answer the question dipshit.”

“Jameson actually. Lee watched.”

“Didn’t know they were vampires,” Yoongi said, eyeing the faint marks on Junki’s neck.

Neither did I.

The room was silent for a minute, and Jin didn’t want to, but he winced in pity.

“Why are you still here? You’ll be outnumbered in minutes, you’ve had plenty of chances to kill them and take the stone.”

“I agree,” Junki muttered. “But unfortunately, little Jimin here made that impossible. He hid it. So, we’re at a stalemate until someone gives me the fucking stone.”

“You screwed yourself then,” Jin found the courage to speak. “No one knows except him, and you made sure he wouldn’t wake up for a while.”

Maybe-” Junki smiled. “Or. . . there’s always my original source.” He turned his head towards Taehyung, who still lay on the ground. Yoongi grabbed Jin’s forearm and pulled him along, walking in front of Taehyung’s body. He pulled his wand from his robes, and trained it on Junki.

Where’s Namjoon?” Jin whispered.

Getting help. I apparated here.” Jin wasn’t sure how or when Yoongi learned to do that, but he wasn’t going to question something he was grateful for. At least Yoongi acknowledged he was there.

“Step down,” Junki said, stepping closer. “You can still join me. I know mother and father see it in you, and so does everyone else. You just have to step aside.

“You don’t though, do you? Yoongi said. “You knew from the minute the sorting hat hesitated with me that I wasn’t like you. That’s why you ignored me for years. That’s also why you knew it was me who ratted you out to the Ministry. You don’t want me to join you.”

“You know what?” Junki said with a tired laugh. “You’re right. I hate you, and even if you did join me, I would’ve slit your throat in your sleep just LIKE I DID WITH THAT FUCKING ELF!”

And just like that, Yoongi attacked. He sent numerous white spells towards Junki without a sound. Junki deflected them, sending the spells crashing into the walls and floor. Jin threw himself to the ground, covering Taehyung with his own body in fear something would happen. He ducked his head, afraid to watch as the walls and floor shook with each spell the brothers fired.

Sounds of cracking and shattering objects around them forced Jin to drag Taehyung’s body towards the wall, away from the fighting. In a moment of panic, Jin slapped Taehyung’s cheek.

“WAKE UP!” Taehyung didn’t wake, so Jin sent a stream of water from his wand into the younger’s face.

With a start, Taehyung sprung up, jerking forward with wide eyes.

“H-hyung what’s-” A large chunk of the ceiling crashed down against the other wall, and Tae screamed, realizing what was happening around him.

“It’s okay, it’s okay! Help is coming, but we have to get Jimin and Jungkook-” Jin said, casting a spell above his head as more rubble fell around them. Yoongi sent a massive crack in the floor towards Junki’s feet, but the older brother jumped out of the way, leaving Jimin unguarded.

Accio Jimin’s coat!” Jin yelled, and unfortunately for poor Jimin, his body came speeding across the room towards the two boys. His head hit the floor a few times and he was covered in dust and rubble by the time his body made it, but they had him.

“Hyung!” Taehyung was sobbing now, tear tracks clearing rubble dust on his cheeks. “W-what’s w-wrong with him?! Why’s t-there s-s-s-so much blood?” Taehyung held his hands up from where he grabbed Jimin’s shoulder, only to have them coated in red.

“It’s Junki,” Jin said, ripping his sleeve. “He’s a vampire, he got J-Jimin.” Quickly, Jin washed the blood away and covered his neck with the torn sleeve. “We need to stop the bleeding, but I don’t know any spells. Tae, look after him-”

Taehyung was panicking, his chest heaving up and down.

“Tae, come on-TAE!” Jin yelled, grabbing the younger boy’s hands. “I need you here! Yoongi needs you here!”

“It’s just like my dreams!” Taehyung cried. “I can’t-”

“Yes, you can! You have to be brave Tae! We need you! Please, tell me where the stone is, please!

Taehyung was shaking madly, curling in on himself, but he managed to point at Jungkook’s bed.

“A-above. Th-the light.”

Jin nodded, using his wand to knock over a nearby bed and use it as a barricade.

“I’m going to get Jungkook, stay here.

Taehyung nodded, digging his fingers into Jimin’s shoulders and pulling him into his chest. Jin grabbed Taehyung’s wand off the floor neary and forced it into his hand.

You’re brave. You are so, so brave.” Jin squeezed Tae’s hand and jumped over the bed, surveying the damage. Yoongi and Junki were still locked in combat, but now they were incredibly close together. Junki had to be only five steps away from Yoongi and his defense shield, the spells highly concentrated and bright at such a close range. It was as if a firework display had gone off in a two foot box, showering the entire room in heart and sparks.

Jin sprinted across the room, dodging a few random spells and debris. He made it to Jungkook’s side just as Yoongi missed a spell that hit his shoulder, sending him onto one knee. Adrenaline and muscle memory hit Jin, and he was firing a spell at Junki without hesitation. The red light hit his shoulder, distracting him just long enough for Yoongi to stand up and fix his shield. Jin blocked a hastily sent spell from Junki, then threw Jungkook over his shoulder and hustled back to his makeshift bunker. He threw the body down for Taehyung to look at, then looked back over the bunker’s edge to see a horrible sight.

Junki stunned Yoongi, launching at the younger man and pinning his shoulders to the ground. It was vicious, as Junki began slashing and tearing Yoongi with his claws. The human was no match for the strength of the vampire, and blood quickly sprayed the air. Jin raised his wand and arm, ready to act when suddenly, a massive falcon flew through a broken window and collided with Junki as a human.

Hoseok hit him repeatedly with punch after punch, but he was quickly kicked backwards where Yoongi jumped up in front of him. His face was a bloody mess, dripping into his eyes and mouth, all over his clothes and the floor. Hoseok gripped Yoongi’s hand from the floor behind him, fear all over their faces. Junki stood up, his nose bent in a strange direction. He had no blood coming from the talon scratches on his face, and Jin wondered how they were going to kill him.

Aaaaand another one appears,” Junki sneered. “Our little illegal mudblood falcon, back from snitching.”

Hoseok was breathing heavily, scared and a little crazed looking.

“You know,” Junki said, pointing his white wand from Yoongi, to Hoseok, to Jin’s bunker.

“If you all were just good little Slytherin Purebloods, I might’ve actually been able to let you live! HA! But no, now I get to take out the trash before meeting with the Dark Lord. Can’t have him see what a disaster has been keeping him from his return!”

“You stay away from them!” Yoongi yelled, stumbling in place. “This is between US!

Jin knew already this wasn’t going to end well. Yoongi was losing too much blood, and he could see Hoseok helping him to stay standing. Junki wasn’t injured, and now he was angry.

“You know, I wanted to dignify you with a valiant death. Something worthy of the Min name. You put up a fight, but I see it now-” Junki pointed his wand at where Hoseok and Yoongi were holding hands. “This place has made you soft. A mudblood? Really? I don’t give two shits if you’re gay, but A MUDBLOOD?”

Junki began forward, wand aimed at Yoongi’s heart, his face contorted into an evil sneer as the words “Avada Kad-” slipped from his lips. His body contorted to the side, crashing into the beds next to him from the impact of a blue spell.

Yoongi collapsed to the ground in exhaustion, and Hoseok dragged him over to Jin as a new opponent entered the Hospital Wing.

Seok Jung stood there, wand pointed at the pile of rubble where Junki’s body lay. Namjoon ran into the room behind him, jumping over the tipped bed and hugging Jin.

“It’s okay, the Ministry is on their way.”

“You’re father?” Jin asked, eyes wide. Namjoon nodded.

“What about the students and Headmistress?” Jin asked Hoseok.

“She’s keeping them there. The professors are protecting the students and getting Ministry help as well. We just have to stall.”

“I think Seok Jung has that covered-” Yoongi groaned, holding his eye where a particularly long scratch was.

Jin glanced over the edge to see Yoongi was right. Seok Jung stood there, waiting for Junki to get up. He was in a black trench coat, his Ministry pin shining in the light. No one else knew, but Jin did. That was Jungkook’s brother’s jacket.

Junki crawled out from the rubble, nursing his shoulder where his clothes had been burned away. His white skin was charred and cracked, disintegrating.

You,” Junki spat, stumbling into the light. “I thought I killed you and made your body leave with a knife in it. I hit your heart.”

“You missed.” Was all Seok Jung said, his lips in a thin line.

“This time I won’t.”

Junki roared, sending spell after spell that crashed into Seok Jung. The auror blocked every curse, redirecting some, and extinguishing others. With a quick hand movement, Seok Jung sent all the beds on the far wall hurtling into Junki, who jumped and dodged each object. Pulling a page from the Dark Lord’s book himself, Junki shattered all the glass windows, sending them towards Seok Jung. He barely moved as they crashed around him, only life threatening ones were turned into bubbles.

The shattered glass moved around Seok Jung’s feet, twisting into long ropes that struck out towards Junki’s arms and legs. The Death Eater whipped them back with carefully aimed spells, defending himself expertly. Hoseok made a move to stand and help, but Yoongi grabbed his waist and pulled him down.

This isn’t our fight.”

Jin wasn’t sure this was anyone’s fight anymore, because of the sheer scale. The Hospital Wing was being destroyed, and he didn’t know how much longer they had before their makeshift bunker was destroyed.

“We need to get out!” Jin yelled, and Namjoon nodded. Together, the group started moving slowly closer towards the door, blocking wayward spells and falling debris. While Jin was dragging Jungkook, the youngest jerked awake.

Holy shit you have bad timing!” Jin gasped, tugging Jungkook’s dazed self along.

“Wha-what’s happening?!”

“It’s Junki! He’s free! He’s been the murderer the whole time! Seok Jung is dealing with it, but we have to get out-”

“NO!” Jungkook suddenly kicked out of Jin’s grasp, and he stood up. “That’s him!”

“What?!” Jin yelled, confused.

“Hyung, it’s him. HE KILLED JUNG HYUN!” Jungkook grabbed Jin’s wand from his hand, jumping over the bed-shield.

“KOOK! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!”

It was actually very clear what Jungkook was doing. He was avenging his brother. He must’ve seen reports or pictures of who killed his brother, but he never ran into the name. Maybe Jungkook knew all along it was Yoongi’s brother, and maybe Yoongi himself knew, but chose not to share. It didn’t matter anymore, because Jungkook immediately sent stunning spells into Junki’s unexpecting figure.

Seok Jung was shocked but didn’t argue with the back up, helping Jungkook push Junki back towards the corner. Slowly, he was cornered, blocking spell after spell with little brake or moment to catch his breath.

Jin saw it coming before anyone else. Junki cast a pushback spell, gathered a second, and let out a massive spell that sent a power surge across the room. Its sheer force threw Jungkook and Seok Jung backwards to the floor, along with tons of rubble from the ceiling. Beds and cabinets screeched across the floor, sliding feet away and scraping the walls and ground. Paintings and posters flew from the walls, and all the dust on the floor was blown into the air making it hard to see.

Jin felt himself get pushed to the ground, and Namjoon’s figure fell on top of him, as their group was pushed back against the farthest wall. Taehyung screamed as a massive cabinet fell towards them, but Hoseok acted quickly, casting a spell and transforming the cabinet into long strips of cardboard which softly hit them.

The room was quiet as the smoke and dust settled. Namjoon climbed off of Jin and cast a spell, forcing the fog to disperse.

There in the center of the room stood Junki, holding Jungkook in front of him, his sharp wand tip resting against the Gryffindor’s neck. Junki’s long claws were tangled in Jungkook’s hair, keeping his chin tilted up towards the ceiling and neck on display. Seok Jung was nowhere to be seen.

THIS IS FAMILIAR!” Junki yelled, a horribly dry laugh bubbling up in his throat. “I can’t seem to remember. . .”

Jungkook struggled in his grasp, but Junki dug his claws deep into his scalp, earning him a small cry of pain from the Gryffindor.

Oh right. Your brother. What was his name again?”

JUNG HYUN!” Jungkook cried out, tears and small drops of blood sliding down his face. It was at this moment that a crowd appeared in the blown up entryway. It was a mix of horrified teachers and aurors, every one of them had their wands out. But with Jungkook in Junki’s arms, they had no clear shot.

Look-” Junki hissed, forcing Jungkook to turn towards the door. “They came to see you get gutted like the animal you are. HELLO MINISTRY! SO NICE TO SEE YOU ALL HERE!”

A few aurors stepped forward, horror on their faces at seeing the man who was supposed to be behind bars for the rest of his life.

“I see you all believe I’m real now, right? It was just A RUMOR THAT MIN JUNKI WAS FREE, NO NEED TO SEND OUT REINFORCEMENTS!”

“Step away from the boy!” Headmistress McGonagall yelled, stepping forward.

“NO!” Junki screeched, drawing a small line of blood from Jungkook’s neck. “GIVE ME THE STONE!”

“What are you talking about?!” She cried, everyone getting antsy.

“HAHHAAHHAH THEY KNOW! THEYYYYY KNOW!” Junki yelled in a horrifying sing-song voice, tilting his head at their small group. Jin saw the Headmistress glance at them in pity, before looking back. “THE RESURRECTION STONE OF COURSE! THEY HAVE IT! THEY HID IT! I WANT IT!”

“You will get no such thing!” She responded, pointing her wand higher.

“THEN I’LL WATER THE STONES WITH HIS BLOOD! MAKE IT FULL CIRCLE! MAYBE HE’LL SCREAM AND CRY JUST LIKE HIS BROTHER, OR MAYBE IT’LL BE SILENT JUST LIKE THE STUDENTS AND THAT ELF! HIS DEATH WILL CALL TO THE STONE, BRING THE NEW ERA OF THE DARK LORD!”

Step down!” She yelled back, and Junki roared, raising his wand.

“STOP!” Yoongi yelled, and Junki paused. “It’s in the light!”

A quiet murmur went through the room, and Junki glanced at the scone where Yoongi pointed.

Get it.”

Yoongi hobbled over, using his wand to break the light fixture and sure enough, he held up the stone. Junki’s eyes widened, Jungkook crying out helpless ‘no!’s as Yoongi walked closer.

“Jungkook for the stone,” Yoongi said.

Deal.”

Yoongi dropped the stone into Junki’s hand, just as he shoved Junki into Yoongi’s. Yoongi grabbed Jungkook and pushed him to the floor, so Yoongi was the closest to Junki.

The vampire had his fist closed tightly around the stone, his black eyes swimming with strange shadows. Yoongi wasn’t sure who exactly he was seeing, but there were plenty of people that came to mind.

It’s so clear. . . he’s right there-” Junki whispered, pointing to an empty spot to his right. “Just like. . . just like father said. He’s. . . he’s speaking to me-”

“AVADA KEDAVRA!”

A green light flashed behind Junki, and Yoongi watched the light leave his dark eyes. The stone fell from his hands, tumbling to the ground. Junki’s lifeless body fell forward, straight into Yoongi’s arms, Seok Jung standing behind him, tears rolling down his face as he lowered his wand.

Seok Jung had been only an arms length away from Junki when he sent the curse. With a shaky gasp of breath, Seok Jung nodded to Yoongi, then looked up at the aurors who waited behind them.

He apparated away before anyone said a single word.
