Diagon Alley
The ride to the Weasleys was awkward to say the least.
Midnight was mad at me because I put her in my trunk. So she was just ignoring me as she was on my lap.
George was trying to make small talk with me while sitting too close for comfort. He kept saying how it looks like I've changed or how I looked different. How I was more noticeable.
I had absolutely no idea what he was going on about and I really didn't care.
Harry was ignoring me, talking to Ron for what it seemed like hours. But it was to be expected I suppose.
But a glimmer of hope was a ahead or for it just to continue in a different place.
It was the Weasley's home ahead. It looked like three houses just connected together almost the size of a tower.
As we got closer we started going down and I got out as soon as possible.
That was a car ride I honestly never wanted to repeat again.
Midnight jumped out with me and walked to the door of the house as if it was her own home.
I was about to laugh to myself about it until I looked at Harry and he seemed the same.
Fred went in first while Harry and Ron followed. I stayed behind but Geogre started to be up my bum, so I started to hurry inside.
The inside of the house is what I would have expected in a magical family's home.
"Where have you been?" Mrs. Weasley making me jump back into George.
"Harry, how wonderful to see you dear" I'm going to suppose she didn't see me.
"Beds empty! No note! Car gone! You could've died! You could've been seen!" She was scolding at the Weasley boys.
"Of course, I don't blame you, Harry dear" At this point I just ignored all of them and looked behind me for Midnight. Instead I came to eye contact with George looking down at me. So then I immediately turned to the front.
"They were starving him, Mum! There were bars on his window!" And I suppose I wasn't there then.
"Well, you'd best hope that I don't put bars on your window, Ronald Weasley" it was kinda funny seeing Ron scared to death.
"Care for a spot of tea, Harry?" Once again I'm not here couldn't help but roll my eyes.
Then I heard someone come down the stairs. "Mummy. Have you seen my jumper" it was Ginny Weasley.
"Yes dear. It was on the cat" her mother said lovingly as Ginny was wide eyed at Harry.
Harry said "Hello" but she ran away.
"W-what did I do?" He said confused.
"Ginny. Been talking about you all summer. Dead annoying, really" hmm interesting and I decided to investigate.
I started going up the stairs before Mr. Weasley came through the door. I'd rather deal with one Weasley girl instead.
As I get off the stairs I see a flash of red hair going into a room and I follow it.
Ginny was packing away as I crept into her room.
"He doesn't bite you know" Ginny jumped as she turned toward me at my words.
"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you but my brother he doesn't bite, I could help you talk to him if you wanted" I giggle to myself as Ginny looked horrified.
"I don't know what you mean" Ginny started to continue packing trying to pretend I wasn't there.
"Are you excited for Hogwarts?" I signed trying to make conversation but I myself had no positive thoughts on Hogwarts besides Neville really but I'm sure for Weasley Gryffindor royalty it was exciting for her.
"Yes very" Ginny said continuing her packing not looking at me. I leaned against the frame just watching her visibly making her uncomfortable.
Then we heard Molly "girls come down we'll be going to diagon alley in a minute."
Geogre brought up my trunk, I ended getting up dressed with Ginny. She actually tried to start a conversation but I wasn't very interested and it was pretty short lived by the time we were downstairs.
"You first, Harry dear" Mrs. Weasley as she offered Harry a flowerpot. At the bottom is a layer of very soft dust. Me and Harry frowned in confusion.
"But Harry's never traveled by Floo powder before, Mum" neither have I.
"Floo Powder?" Harry and I looked at each other confused.
"Oh, well, you go first, Ron. So that Harry can see how it's done. Yes. In you go. That's it" I just kept trying to get Harry's attention because the idea of going into a fireplace was disturbing to me but he was ignoring me.
"Diagon Alley!" Ron disappeared.
"You see? It's quite easy, dear. Don't be afraid. Come on. Come on. In you go. That's it. Mind your head. That's right. Now, take your Floo powder. That's it, very good. Now, don't forget to speak very, very clearly" Mrs. Weasley waving Harry over to the fireplace.
"Wait can I go with him at the same time?" I say not wanting to be left without him.
"Oh sure dear just stay close to him" I hurry over to Harry.
"Diagonally" I heard Harry nervously say and before I knew it I was in darkness. I was outside but it was like the sunlight wasn't making it through something. I was in an alley, there was a random fireplace in an alley. Then I walked out of the alley and the minute I did a man was staring at me. Well I think he is a man. There was something about him that wasn't muggle or something different from wizard. He was very large and scary looking and he was looking at me like I was going to be his next meal.
"Well hello pretty" my arm was grabbed by an old woman wearing rags, her hair completely white and had warts all over her. I didn't know if I'd be better off with her or the man still staring at me.
"Come now pretty.. come with me" now I was starting to be dragged I was frozen it wasn't registering in my brain what was happening.
"Come now hag we want the girl" then a group of men I didn't notice before were coming out of the shadows. The man from before was still staring and I noticed he had gotten closer.
"No I saw her first she's mine" she pulled me so close I could smell her breath, it smelled like blood.
"Technically I saw her first" now the man finally spoke and the hag stepped back, the group of men stepped back as well but not their leader.
"Look ugly obviously we all saw this girl at the same time, not many come down here looking like her" now he pulled me away from the hag to him. He pulled me very close to him now to his chest, he smelled my hair inhaled it and gave a long breath out. He had long hair that looked like it was a rats nest and his clothes were dirty and discolored.
"You see I think she best come with us because she'll be alive at the end of the day you two just want her for lunch" He chuckled and I finally started to understand my situation but I was still paralyzed I couldn't understand why.
The hag was just standing there now for the show of it all. But the man just stood there looking like he was assessing his options while the other one had turned his attention back to me.
"You're so pretty, how did a girl as pretty as you get down here hmm?" He was stroking my hair with his one hand and had his other on the side of my neck with his thumb making circles into my skin. I didn't understand why I couldn't move and I couldn't say anything.
"Ha a mute well you won't need to be talking much anyway and don't you like them screaming ugly?" His men laughed as he turned me my back against him me now looking at the towering man standing very close to us.
"She'd scream for me" the man was now roughly grabbing my face as the other now was holding me tighter. And just before I thought they were going to start fighting I heard an ever so welcome voice at this time.
"Let her go this instant" Draco Malfoy came walking up like he owned this bloody place but the men that seemed they were about to fight over me were now chuckling slightly together.
"Oh now isn't it the malfoy heir why don't we just take a bow" the man holding me pulled me into one and the large man did slightly they were now sharing a joke.
"Unless you want me to tell my father of your disrespect you'll do as I say" Draco was trying to make himself look so superior to them but at the same time it looked like it came naturally.
"Oh why bloody not I don't think I've shagged one that bloody young before anyways" the man that was holding me now pushed me over to Draco into his arms but I heard a hiss from the other man.
This garnering a laugh from the other "You should keep a better watch over your things Malfoy" taking his eyes off the one man back to me looking me up and down to get one last look.
"Believe me I will" Draco now is pulling me away from them. I could hear the men in the background, the large one talking about the malfoys. They were watching me as I left until I couldn't see them anymore.
I hoped I'd never see those men or this place again but deep in my gut I feel like I'd see them again, I'd be back down here again.
