Obsessions
You know how people get obsessions with, like, either people or objects or fictional stuff
Example, I obsess over white and black hair with either blue or green eyes. Characters, it's not always concrete on either, but the main. gist of it.
Another example I obsessed over music and arts and craft. Lately, I have been obsessing over crocheting projects I have crocheted at least 7 purses already.
What I always find funny is when a character has an obsession. in a show that obsession lasts until the end of their life. Like, Yeah, some obsessions really do last until the end of their life. But at the same point, most of the time, the obsession lasts for a couple of months, and then you find a new thing to obsess over. Or is that just me?
Like I can obsess over something anywhere from a week. to two years.
Example of what I mean. I started getting into fan friction and I read nothing but my hero academia fan fiction for 2 years and a half. before that I watched nothing but Naruto and bleach. for a year straight.
And considering I actually got pretty far into both for my Shore short. attention span. 22 seasons of bleach and all of Naruto. plus 200+ episodes of Shippuden. I'm pretty proud of myself for that
Anyways, back to the point. Here's the definition.

the state of being obsessed with someone or something:
"she cared for him with a devotion bordering on obsession"
an idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind:
"he was in the grip of an obsession he was powerless to resist"

Most characters that people obsess over typically. are the obsessive type. Also, typically they usually have traumatic back stories.
Honestly, the reason I was thinking about this is I found it odd that all the characters I obsess over have had some very specific things.
I'll give three examples. These three examples of what I mean. I was thinking of it. touya Todoroki otherwise known as Dabi. Jason Todd, otherwise known as Red Hood. and Danny Fenton Otherwise, known as Danny Phantom.
I really shouldn't have to say why these three thick out, but There's quite a few reasons
And honestly. I could care less what they actually did for the first two. I have emotionally fallen for all of the characters I obsess over. Like I'm a ride or die character. Once I like. actually get it down. And if you're in the this person, there's not much they could do to make me not like them
And honestly, it says quite a bit about me when I love. the LOV in MHA more than I like the heroes.
Another character I have kind of obsessed over. Eren yaeger.
Then again, another example. on what I mean when I say very little
1 nothing to do with children 2 No non-con. 3. No abuse See my simple 1 2 3 rule. There have not changed ever
If I'm being honest, that's really all I had. because I am an obsessive person.
This is just me rambling on. Yes, I know. I'm more into character analogy than I am into. most other. aspects of fandoms. I love. reading the theories and I love coming up with them.
