Okay so you know how in most fan fictions it's Jason adopting Danny? what if it was the other way around?
And I imagine it would be during his Red Hood days right before he reveals himself like he just started up his whole crime lord Escapade and Danny sees this corrupt ectoplasm in this baby halfa in his mind because this is aged up Danny In case that wasn't obvious you can have Danny B however old you want he's just got to be old enough where he could be a dad but for my idea he would Be one of the Ancients
Do know that for the word "Ancients" I had to search for a lot longer than it took for me to think of this idea because I didn't remember how to spell it and I can't pronounce it Anyways!
And Jason is just confused as to why This kid is trying to befriend him because I'm going off of the head Canon after Danny died he doesn't age and if he does it's like really really slow like so slow that it would not have took in any effect yet maybe after a couple of hundred to like 3000 years but he's not that old yet I'd say he's only like 120 for this and he became an Ancient simply buy how powerful he is
Which would also be going off of the head cannon that his ghost king
And another thing that Jason is confused is why he feels Danny is a parental figure instead of him being a parental figure because ghost cores I'm awful with words.
And Danny probably going through stuff because he's been alive for so long and most of his friends and family have probably moved on by now and are living there afterlives or you can put a angst Exterminated them and Danny has been working really hard to make it where the ghost zone doesn't go to war with this earth we haven't gone to the Justice League yet because he thought they already knew it because these laws have been in place for well over 100 years now
When in reality I imagine that the Justice League just didn't spot it because it was 1 of those really old laws that they probably didn't deem to be dangerous which by the way not true
And as they grow closer, they both notice things that are off about each other Danny already knows why but Jason doesn't and that just making him more confused and possibly suspicious.
I'm gonna skip all the drama even though I don't want to because I love drama so past the main point of the story we get to around the end where the identity reveal comes in because I love the identity reveal like favorite tag.
Somewhere in all the drama Danny reveals himself to Jason and Jason comes clean about his plans possibly Danny helps kill the Joker because he's over 120 and he's the king of the ghost he's probably got different morals because I love my morally gray characters.
So, Jason's like this person has done more for me than Bruce or Batman or B however you want to name Batman or Bruce you get out of what I mean.
And one of this is going on in the background batman and Robin which would be Tim have been investigating hood and Phantom and they couldn't find any information on either because there was a big Block out for Amity Park in literally not on the map anymore there are mentions of phantom in history but they really can't get anything out of that information and then for hood all I got is League of assassins so the common information
Everything comes to an end with a battle I don't know what Villain or rogue you will choose but world calamity level kind of stuff you could even change up what I said before about the Joker and make the Joker the final villain.
So, the red hoods helmet gets damaged, and he takes it off when he thinks no one is looking other than Danny who is in Phantom At the moment as he takes it off Danny transforms into human form and that makes more misunderstanding pile up on its own but either way, they see Hood's face and it spiral from there, but this is getting around the end.
So, someone in the Justice League spots this and reports it back with video evidence because they got cameras of course they do and then the rest of the drama went unfold and that would be the end.
For the person who spots this I'm imagining it was actually from Justice League dark it was either Constantine or Zatanna because they got magic and they could probably ask for that and they're both wondering why the Ghost king is with this mortal who they otherwise can't really sense because he's a baby halfa and his core was corrupted with the Lazarus being corrupted ectoplasm So he's got like a really weak signal going on at the moment but they can sense the claim on him from the Ghost King of protection
So, they showed the Justice League, and the rest of Justice League dark and Batman recognizes Jason which turns into a big chase trying to find Jason who is currently comfortably at home with Danny.
Well Captain Marvel panics in the background thinking he's gonna be called out on his BS!
And if I'm being honest, he probably could be called out because Danny's actually older than he looks and the rest of the league have pieced that together too.
I didn't mention it, but Jason and Danny definitely have the um autonomy scar.
That's all I've got I've run out of ideas for this it's got a lot of my tropes in it though
