if you get a scar your soulmate gets a superpower
Tattoos count as scars what the tattoo is the soulmate can create said object and if it's an animal they get a guardian
Mental and emotional scars also count these are based off the type of emotional and mental scars
Also people with the same scars don't always give their soulmates the same powers
Edit I should clarify. people. Can get the exact same scar in the exact same way And it still gives their soul mates different powers. It depends on how. the person who got the scar. Views it. The emotional power behind that scar. is a big factor on how it affects the soul mate who gets the power.
Which also means that if the scar heals the power disappear for the soulmate and again vice versa
The pure angst potential that this has
Now this prompt could work in any fandom but I'm imagining it with Batman and Superman as soulmates as I said the pure angst potential
Because the only thing that can hurt Superman is kryptonite so the power that Bruce would probably be having would have to do with kryptonite which would mean Superman would most likely not be able to go to him because he quite literally would be an agonizing pain yes I know I just don't feel like staying Batman and Clark either and I'm really tired while writing this but ain't I always tired ignore me anyways the way I'm imagining this is either one the first time they meet I don't know how they met like what age but I'm imagining they met as children before Clark or Superman I don't care i'll be changing names up for that would be before Clark ever got hurt by Kryptonite so that when they meet again as Batman and Superman instead of Clark and Bruce he's gonna think that Batman is his only and he's not gonna realize his identity until much much later and you know how secretive Batman is with his identity
