Healing and Gifts
Harry woke up feeling pretty good the next morning despite the fact that he had been woken up in the middle of the night by Teddy. He stretched and realized that he was in the bed mostly alone. Teddy was missing as were quite a few of his bonded. The only ones left in the bed with him were Peryton and Zenith. Harry grinned, he was sure that was done on purpose. He rolled over closer to his Air Prince and started nipping at his neck and gave a please trill when Perry responded with a moan and a tightening of his arms.
"Good Morning, Little Warrior," Harry heard Zenith growl out. Harry purred and arched into the claws he felt lightly scratch down his back. "I truly hope that your exuberance never fades." Harry purred into Perry's neck at the words.
"So do I," Perry agreed. The little Submissive began to kiss his way down the Royal's neck and gave a pleased trill when suddenly there were no longer any clothes separating the three of them. Harry took his time playing with Peryton while Zen slowly drove him mad with need. By the time Zen guided Harry to ride their Prince, he was afraid he wouldn't last very long.
Thirty minutes later his bond with Peryton had clicked into place and he had enjoyed another round with his Gheyo as well. Harry was laying contentedly between the two of them when there was a soft rap at the door and Draco strolled in with a smile. Harry smiled back and reached for his Pareya. Draco pulled him out of his cuddle pile and held him close. Harry happily wrapped arms and legs around the blonde as he was given a sweet kiss and then carried to a bathroom where the tub was already full of hot water and bubbles.
"Morning, Drake," Harry said as he was lowered into the tub.
"Morning, Scarhead. How did you sleep?" Draco said as he grabbed a washcloth and started to clean Harry. The Submissive basked in it. He had never been pampered like this and he was not going to complain about it.
"I slept great even with waking up in the middle of the night to Teddy. Had a great morning, too," Harry told him. Draco snorted and pressed a kiss to Harry's head and they were silent for a bit longer. Harry had actually started to purr at the sensation of having his hair washed for him. Draco smiled indulgently and promised to make sure that Harry was pampered like this more often. He deserved it and if no one else catered to him this way then Draco would make sure that at least he did.
"All right, Darling it is time to get up and head down to breakfast. They were close to finishing up when I came up here to get you ready," Draco said softly and Harry stood up and allowed the Pareya to get him dry and help him into his clothes. Then he was sat down on a chair and Draco fixed his hair with intricate braids and braided his bonding chord into it. When Harry looked into the mirror he could see all of the scales and trinkets poking artfully through the braids and he loved the way it looked.
"It looks great, Draco. Thank you," Harry said and rewarded the Pareya with a kiss. Draco blushed and tucked Harry under his arm and the two of them headed down to breakfast together. Harry was greeted by a toddler who squealed in delight and giggled when Harry picked him up and tickled him before holding him close and rubbing their noses together.
"Mornin, Daddy," Teddy said with a big grin.
"Good morning, Teddy Bear. Are you ready to eat breakfast?" Harry asked his sweet boy. Teddy nodded and then reached for Draco. The blonde happily took the boy from Harry's arms. Teddy had been far more affectionate toward Draco and Magnus since they had done the blood adoption. It was like something instinctual in Teddy told him that Harry, Draco, and Magnus were his fathers. Harry was happy that the toddler was adapting so well to their new family as a whole. Teddy was growing fast bonds with Orion, Ethan, and Alec as well.
"Hey there, Loveling. We waited for you," Jun said and pulled Harry into a tight hug. Harry hugged her back just as tightly.
"You didn't have to," Harry told her when she pulled away. Jun smiled and tapped him on the nose.
"Of course, we did. That is what family does," Briar stated as he took his turn hugging his new grandson. Harry blushed and nodded. How was he to know what a real family was supposed to be like? But he was sure happy to learn. Harry pulled back from the hug and was placed in the empty seat next to his Alpha. He reached back up for Teddy who was settled in his lap. A plate was sat in front of them that was piled with double the amount they would probably be able to eat together. Harry just smiled and accepted the fact that it would probably be like that for a while until his bonded were convinced he was healthy.
"So what are your circle's plans for the day?" Briar asked as everyone was finishing up.
"Well Raspen and Perry need to go in to catch up on all of the work that they have missed," Harry answered. "I am sure that Rath and a few others will go with them."
"I will go with Raspen and Lukas will go with Perry. Other than that we are not technically allowed to guard them. It can cause issues with instincts and such. So right now while our circle is settling they will allow it afterward they will not," Rathal responded. Harry looked confused.
"That doesn't make sense to me. Who would be more motivated to protect them than someone who is bonded to them?" Harry stated what he thought was obvious. Orion chuckled next to him.
"I know it doesn't make sense. It is just how it is," Orion told him and pressed a kiss to his head. Harry leaned into him and accepted it even though he just didn't agree.
"That is four of you. What about the others?" Jun asked.
"Quinn wants us to come to his family compound so that all of us can be given proper checkups by him and his family. Non-negotiable, anyone that is not required to be somewhere else, is coming with us," Harry informed the others at the table. "I am not going to argue or resist any of you and what you think I need to get healthy. I will do everything that needs to be done to make sure that it happens. I expect the same thing from everyone else as well. My health is not the only one that is important." Harry looked around the table and made sure that he made eye contact with each of his new mates. He wanted them to know that he was very serious.
"I need to check in with the Cunninghams but that can be done afterward," Hadrian announced.
"I will need to report to Alcandor. I have been lax in my duties being away so long and I need to take care of things," Alec spoke up. Harry nodded. "If it makes you feel better I will see a healer while I am down there today and bring back the report for you to look over." Quinn nodded in acceptance of that and so did Harry.
"I believe that most of us just need to let our places of business know that we have been involved in a soul-scream and we will be given at least a month to settle with our new circle. That will give us time to register as a circle, find a home, settle our finances, and all of the other things that will need to be handled," Ethan added.
"So then that means, other than Alec, Raspen, Rathal, Perry, and Lukas, everyone is coming with us to the Kalzik estate," Orion stated. There were a few grumbles but no one protested outright. Their Submissive and Alpha were in agreement and not taking no for an answer about this. Harry smiled brightly and finished feeding Teddy the last bites on their plate.
"I would like to come with you, Harry if that is ok with you? I want to see the seals that have been placed on you so that I can see what needs to be done to remove them," Jun spoke up. She was very proud to see that her grandson was not going to allow his circle to walk over him about something that he felt strongly about. Harry smiled and nodded.
"Is it ok Quinn? If my Grandmera comes with us," Harry asked his healer. Quinn nodded and smiled at Harry.
"Oh, speaking of seals, has anyone sent a message to the Peverell clan to see about getting that one removed?" Ethan asked.
"As far as I know, messages have been sent. None have been replied to. I am going to request a meeting personally with them to see what is going on," Peryton replied this time.
"Why haven't they responded?" Harry asked. He was afraid that maybe they hadn't responded because they didn't want to know him.
"I don't know, Loveling but we are going to find out," Perry responded.
"It's ok if....if they don't want to know me," Harry said with his eyes turned down. "I am happy with you all here and the family that I have found already." Orion reached over and lifted his chin.
"I am sure that isn't it, Love. Even if it is, it is their loss. You are a wonderful person and they would be lucky to have you as a part of their family," Orion told him. Harry smiled up at him.
"Thank you, Alpha," Harry said and pressed a gentle kiss to his lips. Harry didn't know how he had managed to get so lucky but he was thanking every deity that he had ever heard of for the people he had been given.
"Well, it sounds like everyone has a plan for the day. Let's get it started," Briar said with a smile. He could see that his newly found grandson had a wonderful new circle that would take care of him the way that they should. He couldn't have asked for anything better.

Harry looked around in awe of the home that they had ported to. The Kalzik estate was huge and had many smaller houses on the property that Quinn explained were for circles to stay in when someone required a lot of healing and needed to be near their circle. He didn't get much time to look around before a group of people came out of the main house and headed toward them.
Harry watched as Quinn's face brightened and he smiled happily as the small dark woman in front pulled him into a tight hug while two men stood hovering over them both. The Submissive stood with his Alpha cradling his son while the four of them exchanged greetings and talked for a moment. Then Quinn turned around and reached out a hand for Harry to come forward.
Harry this is my Mera Surajini, my Father Hiram, and my Sire Patrick.
Then Quinn turned to his parents and indicated Harry and Teddy.
This is my wonderful soul-bonded Submissive, Harry, and our circle child, Teddy
Harry didn't get the chance to greet them before he and Teddy were pulled into the woman's arms and held tightly.
"It is so good to meet you, Harry. You are a handsome one, aren't you?" Surajini cooed at him and then she pulled back and tapped Teddy's nose making him giggle. "And you are absolutely adorable. I am so happy to meet you both."
As soon as they were released from Surajini they were pulled into a tight hug by Patrick. Harry could see who Quinn looked the most like. Patrick had the same blond hair and teal eyes that Quinn had. Harry allowed the hug and was happy that Quinn's family was so accepting of them.
"I am happy to meet the both of you as well, Little One. You look like you have called a strong circle to you that will keep all of you safe," Patrick stated and Harry smiled up at the man as he was turned and pushed into the arms of Hiram as well. Hiram hugged him just as tightly as the other two had.
"Welcome to our family, Little One," Hiram told him and pressed a kiss to his head and then did the same to Teddy. Then it was like after the three of them had greeted him the rest of the family took that as a sign. Harry and his new circle were quickly swept up in the excitement of the Kalzik family. Harry did love the acceptance from them, but at some point Teddy was lifted out of his arms and he wasn't sure who had taken him and it was all a little overwhelming.
He looked around to see if he could spot Teddy but couldn't see him and he gave a small trill. Just before panic could set in he felt a gentle hand on his shoulder and looked up into the eyes of Bharin the tall Dragel who had come to Hogwarts after his soul scream for Quinn. He smiled kindly down at Harry and then gently guided him into the arms of Orion. Harry sighed happily and trilled up at his Alpha.
"Thank you, Bharin," Orion said to the Gheyo.
"He looked overwhelmed," Bharin stated calmly. "Sometimes my family isn't sensitive to what someone may find overwhelming. They are just excited that Quinn has a circle to call his own now."
"We are happy to have him. He is lovely," Orion said with a smile. Harry trilled up at Orion while he was still looking around. "What is it, Little Warrior?"
"Teddy," Harry managed to breathe out. Bharin had a look of understanding and quickly looked up and around. Then he smiled and strode off. A moment later he was striding back toward Harry with Teddy in his arms and gently placed the smiling boy into Harry's arms. Harry trilled gratefully and snuggled Teddy between his and Orion's body.
"Quinn's older sister Dyshoka had him. He was being fussed over by all of the girls," Bharin told them. "Let me see what I can do to get everyone calmed down." Then the tall Gheyo Joker was striding away toward Hiram. Harry felt Orion rumble down at him and he trilled back.
"Better now?" Orion asked gently. Harry nodded and laid his forehead against Teddy's. Harry realized they hadn't been approached by anyone and looked up to see that a few of his Gheyo were standing around them gently redirecting anyone who came toward them that wasn't part of their circle. He smiled at the sight of it and the knowledge that his bonded were taking care of them.
Then Harry heard a sharp whistle and everything quieted down. Hiram was standing with Patrick and Bharin.
"Ok Kalziks, let's settle down and get organized for the healing appointments. If you are not involved or helping with that please go about your day so that we can get this show on the road," Hiram announced and then there was the bustling of people and quite a few of the Kalzik children hurried off to the house or off to do whatever with their days. Harry breathed a sigh of relief when things calmed down. He looked up when there was a gentle hand on his shoulder. He smiled up at his Grandmera.
"All right, Darling?" Jun asked. Harry nodded.
"Yes, I am ok now. It was just a little overwhelming and I couldn't find Teddy," Harry told her. She smiled knowingly and pressed a kiss to his head.
"That is perfectly understandable," Jun soothed him. "Now let's go and see what the plans are." Harry nodded and allowed Jun to lead him toward Quinn and his parents. Orion was walking close behind him.
"Sorry for all of the chaos, Little One," Hiram said with a smile.
"It's alright," Harry told him, smiling back.
"It was just a little bit overwhelming for him. He has a very complicated past. He has been alone and on the run since he was sixteen and then was in a battle before his soul scream. He isn't used to so many people and then he lost sight of Teddy," Orion explained.
"Oh, I am so sorry. We should have considered that it might be too much," Surajini said with a frown.
"It's ok," Harry told her. She smiled gently at him.
"All right, Harry will be coming with me and Quinn. Everyone else will just wait until they are called by one of us to be checked out. Quinn has given us your first scans that he did after the soulscream so most of you just need a basic scan and nothing more. It should be fast going and then you can go about your business or wait around for your Submissive to be done."
"My Granddera will come with us if that is ok and Orion please," Harry spoke up. Surajini smiled at him.
"Of course, Harry. Your Alpha is one of the ones that had a very good scan he doesn't need to be seen by anyone. Now do you feel comfortable letting Teddy go with one of your bonded to be seen to? From what I can tell we are going to be attempting to break a seal or two it will be safer for him to not be in the room. Is that going to be ok?" Surajini asked gently. Harry nodded.
"I will take him, Love," Draco stepped forward. Harry nodded and handed Teddy to Draco after kissing them both. "We will all look after him and keep him safe while you are busy. Don't worry."
"Thank you, Drake," Harry said.
"Oh, for the rest of you. After you have had your check-up and been released you may go and do what you need to. Talk to family settle affairs whatever you need to do. Just make sure to be back at the Evanson Estate for dinner," Orion instructed their circle. 'Yes, Alpha' was heard throughout their bonded. Then Harry was being led away by Surajini and Quinn with Jun and Orion following.

Harry was lying on the exam table while Quinn and Surajini did their in-depth diagnostics on him. He had promised no fussing and so he was determined not to. He tried to ignore the gasps from Jun and Surajini as they looked over his results. Orion was gently rubbing his arm and remained a source of strength for Harry as they waited for the others to decide what they were going to do.
"Ok, so first thing we are going to do is remove the Blood Seal. Then, depending on how you feel, Juniper is going to remove one of the Evanson Seals. The other is runic-based and will be a bit more complicated. It isn't causing you any trouble so it will be fine to leave it for now. The three that are connected will be more complicated. Since it has to do with the soul seal, I would suggest speaking to Death's Court," Surajini explained to him. Harry nodded his understanding.
"That all sounds fair. Whatever you and Quinn think is best. Also, if it is possible I would like to talk about a permanent link with Quinn so that we do not have to be touching to talk. He needs at least one person in our circle with whom he can speak freely. He also mentioned communication cuffs and I would like to see about getting some made for our circle for those that do not feel comfortable with a permanent link," Harry informed the Kalzik Submissive. She smiled brightly at Harry and kissed him on his forehead.
"We can take care of that before you leave today. We will teach one of your mages the way to do it. That way you don't have to keep coming here if someone else decides that they want to do it also. How does that sound?" Surajini asked. Harry nodded.
"That sounds great. Quinn is ours and he deserves to be able to freely communicate with all of us," Harry stated matter of factly. Quinn blushed and then gripped Harry's hand.
Thank you, Submissive mine.
"No thanks necessary, Quinn. I meant it," Harry told him.
"We are also going to put you on a few potions and Quinn is going to take control of your diet so that he can make sure that you are receiving all of the proper nutrients that will battle the severe malnutrition and bone deficiencies that you have. I am also going to encourage you to take blood from your circle far more often than a normal Submissive would need to. You have been denied blood and proper care for a long time and now we need to make up for that. Do you understand?" Surajini informed him.
"OK, I understand. I have already promised my circle that I will do everything that I am told to do when it involves my health. I want to be whole and healthy for them and for my son," Harry agreed.
"First things first. You only need to relax and let Quinn and I work on safely removing the Blood Seal. I was told that it came from a Blood Quill that you were forced to use. Now while it was forced you did voluntarily pick it up and use it so it will be a bit harder to remove," Surajini told him. Harry nodded. He gave Orion and Quinn a look and received looks of encouragement from both of them, so he laid his head down and closed his eyes to relax. He felt a soft pat on his shoulder and then felt the magic prickle across his skin. It was a bit like ants dancing across his skin.
I know that it is uncomfortable for you. You are magic sensitive but there isn't any other way to do this particular thing. We will rub an ointment on you before we leave here today that will settle you.
Harry nodded and tried his best to relax again. Then he felt the magic slip under his skin and began to search for where the Seal was sitting inside of him. It took a few more minutes of feeling the magic push and pull at something inside of him and then he felt a ripping inside of him and heard someone screaming. It took a moment for him to register the fact that he was the one who was screaming and when he did, it was like a gate had been opened and all he could feel was pain. He heard a commotion and a sharp whistle before he thankfully blacked out.
"Well that was intense," Orion said as he settled back down next to his now unconscious Submissive. They had nearly had a huge problem. Surajini and Quinn had forgotten to place up silencing barriers around the room and their entire circle had attempted to break down the door when Harry started screaming. Orion had whistled to get their attention and then soothed them all by letting them know what had happened. It had taken a few minutes but they finally returned back to their own appointments.
Orion had also asked one of the mages to stay so that they could be taught the spell for communication. He also asked Hadrian if he would speak to someone in the Death Court about the seals on Harry when he went to speak with them.
"Yeah, just a bit," Juniper answered him. It had been hard for her to see her grandson in that much pain. They watched as Quinn began rubbing an ointment into Harry's arms gently. He continued to rub the ointment into his arms and chest while they waited for him to wake up.

When Harry opened his eyes again he felt light. It was like he had been weighed down by something or was infected and now he was clean. He smiled and trilled happily when Quinn pressed a kiss to his lips.
How do you feel?
"I feel great actually. Like I was dirty or infected and didn't even know it until I was clean," Harry told him. Quinn looked relieved.
"Any pain or discomfort, Darling?" Surajini asked. Harry shook his head no.
"No, I don't feel any pain or discomfort," Harry told her.
"That is good news," She replied.
"So, the Blood Seal is gone?" Harry asked.
Yes, Love. It is
"Great, what's next?" Harry asked.
"Are you sure you feel up to keep going?" Orion asked his Submissive. Harry smiled and nodded.
"Like I said, I feel great. I can handle it," Harry told him.
"Okay, but first I want you to let me take you outside so that the others can see you. They were upset by your screams of pain and have refused to leave until they are satisfied that you are fine," Orion informed him. Harry smiled and nodded. Orion lifted him into his arms bridal style and strode from the room. As soon as they were outside Harry was passed to his Beta who sniffed him and kissed him gently. Then he was either passed around or gently touched or kissed by his entire circle so that they could all see for themselves that he was fine.
Harry was grinning from ear to ear as he was carried back into the exam room and placed on the exam table. It was so nice to be so worried about. Orion kissed him and then sat back down in the chair next to him.
"All of my Pareya want the permanent link with Quinn as well," Harry told them once he was settled again. Quinn looked startled and his mother wrapped an arm around him.
"That is wonderful, Harry. I am glad to know it," Surajini stated while Quinn seemed to be in a bit of shock. He hadn't expected any of them to want a permanent link with him. Only two of his siblings had agreed to it so he hadn't expected people who barely knew him to agree.
"Are you ready for me to remove one of the Evanson Seals?" Jun asked after a moment. Harry nodded and laid back down to relax. He felt gentle magic dance across his skin and then a small snap inside and then Jun was sitting him back up. Harry looked really surprised. Jun chuckled. "Were you expecting pain?"
"Yes, the last one hurt so bad and this one was a simple snap and done. No pain or discomfort. What is the difference?" Harry asked.
"The first one was placed on you with dark magic meant to hurt and corrupt you. This one was placed out of love and is common practice for Dragels to place on their young. It is just normally removed before they reach a certain age. It is why they are removed by family. Less pain and complications. That is why we are petitioning a Peverell to remove that seal," Jun explained to him.
"Your Teddy has a similar seal placed on him by the Black family. It should be removed before he is three," Surajini explained. Harry nodded that he understood. "Ok let's call in your Pareya and whichever mage has decided to learn the spell. We will get your links established and then you all can go on your way after you have taken your first dose of the medicines that I want you to begin taking."
Harry waited patiently as Orion called them all in. Draco, Fred, George, Ethan, and Riven came into the room. Teddy had been left with Magnus. Riven watched carefully as the runes were placed and the incantation was done for the link. He was also given a paper with the instructions and runes on it. Quinn smiled brightly as each of them took the chance to speak to him through their link to make sure they were working properly.
"Before you go we have a few things we would like to gift your circle. Will you come with us up to the main house?" Surajini asked.
"Of course," Harry said and was not surprised when he was swept into Orion's arms to follow Surajini, Hiram, and Patrick up to the house. They were settled in a sitting room and waited as a pretty box and a scroll was brought into the room.
"We had these made for a time when Quinn bonded into a circle. There are a dozen communication cuffs in this box. This will at least get you started, the name of the person who made them for us and their contact information is in the box so that you may get more if you need to," Patrick said and handed the box to a grinning Harry.
"Thank you so much. This is a wonderful gift," Harry said. Then Hiram stepped forward and handed the scroll to Orion.
"This is a statement that we give to each of our children when they bond. It is a gift of one of our properties to your circle or money to help you purchase one that will suit your circle. We want to always make sure to give our children a good start in life with their new bonded," Hiram explained. Harry wanted to cry at the kindness that this family had shown them. Orion thanked him properly and told him that they would get with him at a later date to see what properties they had and then would decide from there if they had something that would cater to all of the different elements in their circle.
"Oh, Juniper I would like to throw a bonding party for them. But I don't want to step on any toes if one is already being planned," Surajini asked Jun.
"My Submissive and Pareya have talked about it but nothing has been planned yet. I will have them get in touch with you and then you can plan it together. We will also send any other family members from other bonded that are interested to you as well," Juniper replied. Surajini smiled and sat back happily.
"Thank you. I am happy to be included," Surajini said. "Now Quinn knows everything that you need for medications and everything needed for your proper recovery. We are all done keeping you held up here if you have things that you need to do."
"Honestly, I am very tired. I think I need to rest for a while," Harry told Orion. The Alpha nodded.
"We are going to take him home and let him and Teddy rest. It has been a stressful morning. Thank you for everything that you have done for us today. It is greatly appreciated," Orion told them. Quinn came back into the room at that time. He had been in his room collecting his things to move to their temporary home. He would not be living here anymore obviously. They said their goodbyes and then they ported back to the Evanson Estate.
Harry was carried up to their resting room by Orion and placed in the bed. Teddy was put beside him and Draco, Fred, and George curled up around them. Ethan was going with Quinn to help in the kitchen to get lunch ready and Orion was going to head out to take care of a few things. Kisten was staying behind with Xavier to watch over them because Orion, Hadrian, and Rathal had agreed that Harry was to always have at least a Gheyo with him.
When Harry woke up from his nap Maurice had come to spend time with him. They all had lunch and then Draco took Teddy so that Harry could spend time with Maurice starting his true education about Nevarah and what it means to be a Dragel. The others didn't have mentors yet but Raspen was supposed to be looking into it when he got the time today.
Everyone slowly trickled in from whatever they had been doing for the day. As they got home they would come to Harry and simply kiss or touch him before going about their business. Maurice explained to him that it would probably always be that way. That it was their way of greeting him and putting their scents back on him after being away for hours. He was told they would do the same things with Teddy. They had a lively dinner and then some went to bed while Harry stayed up to wait for Peryton and Raspen to return from their long days at work.
He had apparently fallen asleep while waiting because he was woken up when Raspen lifted him into his arms. Peryton was there as well as Lukas and Rathal. Harry smiled at them and snuggled close to Raspen as he was carried up to their room.
"What are you doing out of bed, Darling?" Raspen asked. Harry shrugged.
"I was waiting for you let to get home. I didn't want to go to bed without you," Harry told him with a yawn. He basked in the adoration he felt from the four of them and was asleep again before he was placed in a bed and the four of them climbed in with him. He was pretty sure they had taken him to a private room and not the resting room. He was okay with it though. He had missed the four of them and they had been away from him the longest today. He was perfectly settled now that everyone was home again.

Back on Earth
"That meddlesome child. He did everything that I needed him to do his entire life. I have been working toward this goal for decades. Then at the last moment, it is ruined because they decided to stagger their portals off the realm," An angry weathered voice growled out. Magic was flowing out of him and things were breaking around the room. This should have been the time that they were getting ready to take advantage of the rip between realms to finally take over that pesky realm of Dragels.
"Calm yourself. You look like a child throwing a tantrum," A man with red hair and feathers covering his body said in a chiding voice. "We are Torvak. We are patient. We will find another way." The first person scoffed and turned away from the newcomer.
"You know nothing. I have manipulated time and space for decades all so that I could find my perfect weapon. The perfect child to take us to Nevarah. Everything was planned perfectly and meticulously to reach the one moment in time that would give us the Rip that would open Nevarah to us.
