Death's Court and Family
Harry was standing in Death's court looking up at a very handsome man with red eyes and dark hair sitting on a throne. Hadrian had spoken to the Hellhound yesterday about his new submissive and had been instructed to bring him the next day for him to be examined by someone from their court.
"Tell me your name, Boy," The man stated and narrowed his eyes when Harry flinched. "Why do you flinch? Are you afraid?" He asked curiously. The Submissive kept his head bowed and shrugged trying to appear casual.
"My Uncle was a very abusive man, Sir. He only ever called me Boy or Freak. Being called Boy is a bit unsettling for me," Harry said quietly but honestly. He felt his circle shift and a gentle hand was placed on his back in comfort. He relaxed his shoulders.
"Look up at me," The man said again in a much gentler voice. Harry lifted his head and made eye contact with the red-eyed man. His face was blank but his eyes were soft. "I will endeavor to never call you Boy again. Now, tell me your name so that I may address you properly." Harry smiled brightly at the man.
"Harry. My name is Harry," He told the man happily.
"Thank you, Harry. I am Lord Aiden. I am the First Hellhound and Death's favored. I am told that you carry two Death Seals and a Soul Seal. Will you consent to let one of my Mages exam you to see what can be done?" Aiden asked. Harry nodded.
"Yes, Lord Aiden. Thank you for helping me," Harry said kindly. Then the man sent someone out of the room.
"He will bring someone shortly. Now tell me what you know about the seals," Aiden asked.
"The soul seal is connected to a prophecy seal and one of the Death seals. They have been on me since I was fifteen months old. A terrible dark wizard was told a prophecy that he assumed told him that I would grow up and defeat him. So he attacked my home and murdered my parents before trying to murder me as well. His Killing Curse rebounded from me and killed him instead. A piece of his soul broke off and embedded itself in me. I have carried a piece of his soul inside me since that night. He created many Horcrux so that he could make himself immortal. I hunted them down and destroyed all of them and then I killed the man in a final battle two weeks ago. The only piece of him that is left is the piece inside of me," Harry told the Hellhound Lord.
"That is quite the story, Little One. I have a feeling that isn't half of the stories that you have to offer," Lord Aiden said. Before Harry could respond a young man with magic dancing around him stormed into the room scowling and yanking his robe out of a dog's mouth. The dog yipped and danced around the man trying to catch his robe again.
"Get your pup under control before I feed him to something nasty," The man spat out in frustration. Harry hadn't taken his eyes off of the large black dog. It looked like a grim. It looked just like he remembered Sirius looking but healthier. Harry whimpered softly and all eyes turned to him. The Grim stopped and looked at him as well. Then he was changing into a man that Harry thought he would never see again. He gave a choked sob and took a step forward. There was just no way.
"Harry, oh my Pup. Look how grown you are. Come here, Love," Sirius said and opened his arms. Harry sobbed again and rushed into his arms. Sirius held him tightly and let him cry into his chest. Sirius looked up to Lord Aiden. "How is he here? He didn't fall through the veil did he?" The Hellhound shook his head no. Sirius breathed a sigh of relief.
"He is a Dragel. He inherited a while back and gave a soulscream two weeks ago when he was fighting The Dark Lord," Charlie stepped forward to explain. Sirius nodded and pulled Harry back just enough so that he could look into his face.
"Hey, Pup. That is enough of that now. Dry your eyes. I am ok, see," Sirius coaxed him.
"I am so sorry, Siri. It was all my fault. I got you killed. I am so sorry," Harry babbled at the man. Sirius smiled and just kissed his head.
"Of course you didn't. You were tricked and it was a trap that anyone would have fallen for. I am your only weakness that they could get to. Of course, they used it against you. I fell through the veil fighting to protect you. I would not have it any other way. Do you understand? Nothing is your fault. I love you so much, Pup," Sirius soothed him.
"Well, that is the most calm I have ever seen him," The scowling man said. Harry smiled and looked up at his Godfather.
"Have you been terrorizing the nice people, Siri?" Harry asked teasingly.
"I get bored. You know me, Pup," was Siri's reply. Harry laughed out loud then.
"He is your child?" Lord Aiden asked calmly. Sirius smiled and nodded.
"He is mine. Not by birth, unfortunately, but he is mine just the same," Sirius told Aiden.
"Harry is here to have Cethin take a look at him. There are seals on him that are harmful and we are going to see what we can do to remove them," Lord Aiden explained to both Sirius and Cethin. "So if you would please step back a moment so that the exam can be done." Sirius nodded. He kissed Harry's head again cupped his cheek and then stepped away to stand with Harry's circle.
Harry stepped forward toward the grumpy man and waited to be told what to do. Cethin stepped forward and looked Harry in the eyes.
"Do you consent to allow me to run scans on you to determine what steps need to be taken to remove your seals?" Cethin asked seriously. Harry nodded. "I need your words, Submissive."
"Yes, I give my consent," Harry said quietly. Then nodded and made to cast his spells.
"Our Healer wants you to know that he is magic-sensitive. His magic lashes out when it gets overwhelming. He broke a portal and almost plummeted to his death only seconds after getting here because his magic lashed out at the unfamiliar magic," Ariki spoke up.
"Of course, you are. You could have mentioned that yourself you know," The Mage scolded him. Harry looked down and bowed his head.
"I am sorry. Quinn told me to remember to tell someone. I meant to tell you but then..." Harry trailed off and glanced toward Sirius.
"That is perfectly understandable, Harry. No need to apologize, you aren't in trouble," Lord Aiden spoke up. Harry smiled up at the man and then turned back to the Mage. He just rolled his eyes.
"No, you aren't in trouble. Now, let me take a look at you," Cethin stated only slightly nicer. Harry nodded and waited. He felt the wash of magic across his skin and shivered slightly. After a few moments of running scans and then looking over the papers he turned to Aiden.
"What is it?" Aiden demanded.
"You are going to have to summon, The Lady," Cethin told him with a grimace. Aiden just looked amused.
"Then we shall. Prepare for the ritual. Do what you need to do," Aiden told him. Cethin moved to do just that when the room darkened and a shadowy portal opened near Lord Aiden. Out stepped a tall figure in robes that looked familiar to him. The hood was pulled over the face and it could not be seen. But the hands were skeletal and holding a very large scythe in one hand. Everyone in the room bowed and so Harry did as well.
"My Lady," Lord Aiden said respectfully. "I guess you knew you were needed." He smirked. The figure looked at the Hellhound and then turned from him to stare at Harry.
"I felt one of my Children here," She said in a scratchy voice. "He has finally arrived. Come forward, Dear Childe." She beckoned Harry forward. Harry moved to stand at the foot of the stairs that the throne was sitting on. He lowered his head still. "Are you afraid, Childe?"
"No, Lady I am not afraid. You don't feel like someone I should be afraid of," Harry told her honestly. She made a sound that Harry thought must have been a chuckle. Harry felt a shift in magic around him and glanced up to see a beautiful woman with bone-white skin and dark eyes staring down at him kindly.
"What do I feel like then?" She said in a voice that was much more pleasant and kind.
"The only way I can explain it is like Family. You feel like comfort, kindness, and love. Like Family," He told her. She laughed again and this time it sounded much more like a true laugh. She walked down the steps to him and placed her empty hand on his cheek. She lifted his head up to look at her.
"We are family in a way. You are my, Chosen Childe. You have proven yourself worthy of my blessing by collecting all of my Hallows. Your world has the story wrong of course. It doesn't make you the Master Of Death. It makes you a Childe Of Death. You will gain certain magics but you must discover them on your own. Now, what can I do for you, Childe," Lady Death explained.
"There is a piece of a soul inside me that doesn't belong. It is connected to a Prophecy Seal and a Death Seal. My bonded and I came here to have them removed. As well as the other Death Seal," Harry told her. She looked at Harry and smiled.
"That is an easy thing to take care of, Childe," Then she pressed her once again skeletal hand to his forehead and then pinched the air as if she were pinching something other than air. Harry felt the tingle of magic. He winced and his knees buckled as a dark shrieking mass of smoke was pulled from him. He would have hit the ground but a pair of strong arms wrapped around him and kept him from falling. He didn't realize he had tears streaming down his face but made no noise.
When it was over Death pressed a gentle kiss on his head and the pain was gone. Harry sighed and went to move but the arms around him tightened. He looked up at Death in concern.
"Not yet, Childe. Now I need to break the seals," The Lady told him. Harry nodded and leaned back into the person who was holding him from behind. He closed his eyes and felt the magic flow across his skin again and then he felt the pain start. He felt when the three seals broke and then he felt like he was on fire. He whimpered, whined, and chirred for help from the pain. The person behind him rumbled and growled comfortingly and Harry tried really hard to concentrate on that noise instead of the pain. Finally, Lady Death pressed another kiss on his forehead and the pain was dulled.
"Are we done now, Lady?" Harry asked with a whimper. She caressed his cheek and smiled at him gently.
"One last thing, Childe. I am not going to remove the second Death Seal. Instead, I am going to change it. It will be my personal seal. It will alert me when you are in danger of death and I will come for you. It will offer you protection," Lady Death told him. Harry gave a small whimper.
"Will it hurt?" He asked looking up at her pitifully. She cooed at him.
"No, Childe. This time it will not hurt," Death promised. Harry nodded and leaned back into the body behind him again. He felt the prickle of magic and then it was done. He blinked up at Death and she smiled again. "I told you it wouldn't hurt this time."
"Are we all done now?" Harry asked.
"Yes, Childe, we are all done," Lady Death told him. She headed back up the stairs. For the first time, Harry noticed that the throne was empty. He heard a chuckle and looked up into the smiling face of The Hellhound.
"Oh, hi," Harry said with a blush. He heard a few chuckles around the room.
"Hi, I am going to let go now. See if you can stand on your own," Aiden told him. Harry nodded and Aiden loosened his arms and pulled away. Harry wobbled but only for a moment and then he was standing on his own just fine. Aiden only waited a moment more and then he made his way back up the stairs to his throne.
"Well, that is the only reason I needed to be here. Look after my Childe, Hellhound. He is important to me," Lady Death said and then she opened a portal and stepped out of the room. Harry felt a body press back into his and looked up at his Alpha.
"Now, if that is all?" Aiden asked. Harry nodded. He didn't think there was anything else.
"Wait," Harry said suddenly. "Sirius..." He started. He didn't know how to ask what he wanted. His grandpa Briar stepped forward.
"He is welcome to come home with us, Darling. If Lord Aiden has no objections," He told his grandson. Harry beamed at him.
"Thank you, Granddera," Then he looked up at Aiden again.
"So you are related to two of my hounds and Childe to our Lady. Plus you are soulbonded to a Reaper. You have a lot of ties to this court, Little One," Aiden said with a smile. Harry smiled back. "Your father is welcome to go home with you. As long as he knows that he must still come when I call."
"I promise to come when you call if it means that I get to go home with my Pup," Sirius promised. There was a snort from the mage.
"You mean he is leaving? He won't be here to torture the court all of the time anymore?" Cethin said with glee. Sirius laughed.
"Don't let him fool you. He is actually in love with me. He is going to miss me," Sirius said and winked at the Mage who rolled his eyes and scowled at him.
"You wish," Cethin spat. Harry just laughed. Merlin he had missed Sirius so much.
"If that was all, you may go now," Aiden said with a smirk. Harry nodded and smiled at the man.
"Thank you so much for all of your help and for making sure I didn't fall. We can come back and visit can't we?" Harry asked.
"You are always welcome here, Childe of Death. This is Our Lady's court therefore it is yours," The Hellhound told him.
Harry turned around and went right back to Sirius.
"Will you come with us?" Harry asked. "We are staying with my grandma and her circle." Sirius looked startled.
"Which grandma, Harry? Lily's family was muggles and James' family is dead," Sirius asked confused.
"Turns out Mum's family wasn't muggles. She and Aunt Petunia were stolen as babies and left with Muggles. My grandma and Grandpa are Dragel. They live here in Nevarah," Harry explained.
"Are you staying here now too?" Sirius asked. He had so many questions about what life had been like for his pup since he had been gone. Harry smiled and hugged Sirius tighter.
"Can we talk about it at home?" Harry pleaded. He was tired now they had removed a horcrux, broken three seals, and altered another.
"Of course, we can Pup," Sirius gave in. Harry smiled and then turned to Orion, trilled at the Alpha, and then held out his arms. Orion smiled and rumbled at him before picking him up bridal style and heading out of the room. Sirius and their bonded following closely.

"Daddy," Teddy squealed when they entered the house. Draco sat him down and Orion placed Harry down and watched as the boy toddled as quickly as he could into Harry's arms. "Missed Daddy," Teddy said after he rubbed their noses together.
"I miss you too, Teddy Bear. Were you good?" Harry asked the toddler. Teddy nodded his head yes and smiled brightly.
"Was good, Daddy," Teddy told him. Then he looked back at Draco as if to say 'tell him'. Draco laughed.
"Edward was very good. A perfect angel," Draco said and he kissed Harry and Teddy.
"Good boy, Teddy," Harry said and then he turned to introduce his son to his Godfather. Then he frowned. His arms tightened around Teddy and he looked at Sirius. Technically, Sirius was Teddy's father. Since he was alive he could take him. He would probably insist on taking him since Harry was so young still. Teddy squirmed.
"Too tight, Daddy," Teddy whined. Harry let out his breath and loosened his hold on the toddler.
"Sorry, Teddy," Harry said quietly and kissed him.
"What is the matter, Love?" Draco asked concerned.
"Sirius," Harry said while still looking at his Godfather who was watching him with concern. "He is Teddy's third. Teddy has a living biological parent." Harry said with a small choked sound. Draco just wrapped his arms around both of them. Sirius stepped forward and looked at Harry like he had lost his mind.
"Pup, I have been dead from your world for too long. There is no way that he can be mine," Sirius stated calmly. Harry just nodded. Ethan stepped forward.
"Actually, sir, there is. Dragels have three parents always. A bearer who carries them, a Sire who is the other part of their DNA, and a Third someone who only offers magic. Teddy's Bearer could have carried your magic inside for years. Then when Teddy was conceived your magic would have helped with his conception," Ethan explained. Sirius looked shocked.
"Who were his parents, Harry? You said I was the only one living," Sirius asked. Harry looked so sad.
"Mooney and Tonks," Harry told him quietly. Sirius looked so hurt.
"Mooney is dead?" He asked. Harry nodded and was silently crying again.
"I am sorry, Siri," Harry said. He shook his head.
"Harry, how long were you alone?" Sirius wanted to know just how many people his pup had lost.
"A long time, Siri. Hermione and Ron went on the run with me right before I turned sixteen. Ron left us and then it was just me and Hermione. When I was seventeen Remus, Tonks, and Andy were murdered and they gave me custody of Teddy. Six months later Hermione was murdered by Death Eaters. Teddy and I were on our own for six months before the final battle and I gave my soulscream," Harry told him. Sirius strode forward and wrapped his arms around Harry and Teddy. Draco hadn't moved back fast enough and had been included in the hug.
"Oh, Pup. I am so sorry," Sirius told him. Harry nodded and sniffled.
"Are you going to take Teddy away from me?" He almost whispered. Sirius looked at him and smiled.
"No, Harry. I am not taking your boy away from you. He is your son, Pup. He doesn't even smell like me or Mooney. He smells like you and Baby Malfoy and a different werewolf. You have already blood adopted him didn't you?" Sirius asked.
"Yes, we did it before coming to Nevarah. It is what Remus and Tonks wanted. They left me notes and all of the proper paperwork," Harry told Sirius. "You really aren't going to take him from me?"
"No, Pup. He is your son. You have been caring for him and he is clearly being taken good care of despite being on the run. Besides, it isn't like I won't be around him. Since he is your boy. That makes him my Grandpup," Sirius said with a grin. "Though I am far too handsome and young to be a grandfather so we might have to come up with something else for him to call me."
"Thank you, Siri. You have no idea what that means to me. Teddy is my son. I love him so much, it would have killed a piece of me to let him go," Harry sniffled. Sirius just wiped his tears and let go of them.
"No need for thanks. Why don't we all just sit down somewhere instead and you can introduce me to your lovely circle and tell me about what has been going on with you since I died," Sirius said with a cheeky grin. Harry laughed and then they directed Sirius to the sitting room where Jun was already relaxing. "Wow, she is definitely Lils' mum." Sirius said with a whistle. Jun looked up and stood when she saw Sirius.
"You knew my daughter?" Jun asked. She held out her hand and Sirius took it.
"Yes ma'am. I had known her since she was eleven. Beautiful, feisty, and the smartest witch I ever met. James chased her for six years before she finally gave in and agreed to date him. The two of them were so in love it was gross. They got married straight out of school and when this little one was born they were over the moon. Even planned on leaving Britain to keep them all safe before Dumbledore convinced them to stay. We were almost free. The five of us were going to run away to America and raise Harry far away from the war," Sirius told her sadly. "Then the day before we were supposed to leave they were betrayed and murdered. I was sent to prison falsely and Remus disappeared because of depression. He tried to get custody of Harry but Dumbledore refused and wouldn't tell him where he was. It was a giant mess."
"One day, if you don't mind, I would like to sit with you and hear stories about my daughter," Jun inquired. Sirius nodded.
"I would be happy to. Lily was wonderful," Sirius replied.
"Siri," came an anguished whisper from their right. They turned to look, and Regulus was standing in the doorway slack-jawed and in shock. Sirius stepped toward him.
"Reggie?" He said in awe. "I thought you had died?"
"I almost did. I tried to destroy the Dark Lord's Horcrux when I found out about it. I betrayed him to try and help the next person defeat him. I am only alive because of Jun," Regulus told him. He needed his brother to understand that he wasn't evil. That he had tried to help. Sirius stepped closer.
"You tried to destroy a Horcrux? You turned against him?" Sirius asked. Reggie nodded.
"Siri, how are you here? They told me you died," Regulus stepped closer as well.
"I did die. But when I fell through the veil in the ministry it spit me out in Death's court here on Nevarah. I am a Hellhound now," Sirius explained to him. "Come here, Little Brother. Let me hug your neck." Then he held out his arms and Regulus only hesitated for a moment before he was being squeezed tightly by his big brother. "I missed you, Reggie."
"I missed you too, Siri," Reggie whispered. Everyone gave the Black brothers a moment to themselves and settled in the sitting room to wait so they could all talk together. Harry was currently draped across Fred, George, and Blaise. Teddy was playing on the floor with a few of Jun's other circle children. It was funny for Harry to think that those little kids were actually his aunts and uncles.
Finally, they pulled away from talking quietly together and joined the others. Regulus went to sit by Jun and Sirius sat down next to him and across from Harry.
"All right, Pup. It is time to tell me about your life since I was gone. Don't leave anything out. I want to know it all," Sirius said and then relaxed back to listen. Harry and his bonded told him everything. They only paused for lunch and then kept going until they finished and introduced Harry's circle to Sirius.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Good news, Darling," Peryton said as he swept into the room about an hour before dinner. Harry perked up from his spot on the floor with Siri and Teddy where they had been playing. The Air Prince leaned down to kiss him and then ruffled Teddy's hair.
"What is it, Perry?" Harry asked when the royal was seated.
"I finally got a meeting arranged with the Peverells," Perry told him with a grin.
"Really?" Harry exclaimed. "Can I go too?"
"Of course, you can if that is what you want to do," Perry told him. Harry nodded.
"I want to, Perry," Harry stated. Perry just smiled again.
"Then you can go with me It will be in two weeks. The meeting is early so we can go after breakfast and then you can either come back home or do whatever else you all make plans for. Now introduce me," Perry pointed to Sirius. Harry grinned.
"This is my Godfather, Sirius. I thought he was dead. Turns out that when he fell through the veil he ended up here as a Hellhound. He has been in Death's court. He will probably be staying here from now on if he wants," Harry introduced. "Siri, this is my Prince Peryton."
"I thought you already introduced me to your two Gheyo Princes," Sirius asked confused. Harry laughed.
"No, He isn't a Gheyo. He is literal royalty. He is the Prince of the Air Court," Harry corrected.
"You are bonded to an honest to Merlin Prince and you are only just now telling me?" Siri teased. Harry held up two fingers. "What does that mean?"
"Two, I am bonded to two honest to Merlin Princes. Raspen is the Crown Prince of the Earth courts. It means that one day he will be King when his father steps down," Harry grinned when Sirius sputtered. "I know it is a lot for me too."
A week later Harry was sitting in a room playing chess with Draco when Quinn walked into the room looked like he had a lot on his mind.
"What's the matter, Quinn?" Harry asked him while he waited for Draco to take his turn.
I am curious about something and with your permission, I would like to run a test to see if there is a way that we can get your Third's magical signature from you. I think there might be a way to track that signature if they are alive and find them.
"You really think you could do that?" Draco asked. Quinn nodded.
I was talking to my Mera about it earlier. She gave me the spell to try. Can I cast it when you are finished with your game?
Harry nodded with a grin. He might have a living parent. That would be nice. Draco just scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"You might as well do it now. He isn't going to be able to concentrate on a thing now other than that," Draco teased. Harry blushed and shrugged. It was true after all.
"Are you sure, Drake?" Harry asked just to be nice.
"Of course I am," Draco laughed. Harry grinned and turned to Quinn.
"Can we do it now?" Harry asked him.
We can do it now.
"Awesome, I am ready when you are," Harry said and moved to a couch when Quinn directed him.
Draco will you go and get Hadrian? He will be the fastest one to trace the signature.
"What if the signature leads him to Earth? Didn't they basically make Earth a Forbidden realm?" Harry asked curiously.
I already talked to Rathal and Peryton about it. They have given permission if our search takes us to Earth.
"You thought of everything before you told me about it didn't you?" Harry said with a grin. Quinn blushed.
I didn't want to get your hopes up if we couldn't do it.
"Thank you, Quinn," Harry said just as Draco and Hadrian strode into the room.
"Draco explained what you are doing. I am ready when you are," The Shadow Ace stated. Quinn nodded.
Ready, Darling?
Harry nodded and then grinned and closed his eyes when he felt the magic dance across his skin. He felt the scan and then felt a small amount of magic extracted from him and pulled into Quinn's hands. When Harry opened his eyes Quinn was whispering a spell over his hands and a small pretty ball of green and blue magic. Quinn nodded to Hadrian and when the Ace nodded back Quinn released it. It bobbed in the air for a moment without moving and then slowly began to move. Hadrian followed it as did the others. It seemed to be searching. Then it began to vibrate as it moved outside and Harry watched in amazement and joy as the little ball of light floated straight into Sirius Black and his whole body glowed for a moment.
"What was that?" He asked them and rubbed his chest where the light had entered him. Harry ran up to him and hugged him tight. "What did I miss?" He said as he wrapped his arms around Harry.
"Quinn wanted to try a spell. One that would locate Harry's third by using their magical signature from Harry," Draco explained. Sirius looked down at Harry and up at Draco.
"His spell led to me?" Sirius said quietly. Harry nodded his head yes. "He is mine. My actual son and not just my Godson?" Sirius wanted to make sure he understood what they were saying. Quinn and Draco nodded and Sirius lifted Harry up and spun him around. "Imagine that, Pup. I am your dad. I always knew you were mine. I expect for you to call me Dad now or something close to it. No more that Siri nonsense. I won't answer to it from you anymore." Harry laughed and looked up at Sirius. His Dad. He had a living breathing Dad.
"Are you going to ground me if I don't?" Harry taunted.
"You bet your ass I will. A week for every time you call me by anything else," Sirius told him with a stern face.
"Oh the horror," Harry exclaimed. "You have been my Dad for two whole minutes and already threatening to ground me. You are so mean to me. Do you even love me at all?" Harry wailed.
"Cheeky Brat," Sirius said and then they both dissolved into laughter. Harry and Sirius were both so happy. Harry couldn't believe how truly lucky he was. Life here in Nevarah was going to be great.
Orion and Ariki had been gone for the day with Quinn's Father Hiram and his Sire Patrick. They were looking at properties to see if the Kalziks already owned one that would work for their circle. Mentors had been found for all of the Dragel from Earth and they were also in negotiations with a few military circles to start training to become an official military circle or something similar. Harry had thought that he would be turned off by the thought of training to fight but he wasn't. He wanted to learn to do it and he wanted to learn to do it properly and with the backing of his circle. They were also going to start introducing him to the pits once he truly learned to handle himself in a fight. He was so ready.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Harry was nervous, today was the day that the meeting with the Peverells was scheduled for. Rathal, Hadrian, Orion, and Sirius had come with him and Perry for the meeting. They were currently waiting in Perry's office it was time and the Peverells would be there any moment. The head of the clan had not been able to make it but they were sending someone in their stead. Finally, there was a rap at the door and Peryton called for them to enter.
The first man through the door was tall and had pretty grey eyes that marked him as an Air type. Harry had learned to tell the difference in the feel of magic from the different ranks. This man was an Alpha. He strode forward and bowed to Perry before looking at the others in the room. Then behind the man came another with messy brown, curls and looked so much like...
"Dad," Harry whispered and stepped forward before he even realized he had. The man stopped and looked at Harry shocked. Harry felt hands on his shoulders and he was pulled back against Sirius' chest.
"No, Pup. It isn't James but damn if he doesn't look exactly like him," Sirius said sadly. Harry nodded but didn't take his eyes off the man.
"What is going on here?" The first man demanded.
"Alpha Henry, I need you to calm down. My Submissive is Empathic and negative emotions affect him in a hard way. Especially when he is emotional," Peryton instructed. The other man hadn't moved from where he had frozen when Harry called him dad.
"Henry, he has a Peverell Seal. I can see it," Not James said a little breathlessly. "Who is he?" Peryton pulled out a family tapestry and laid it on the desk. He pointed to the part he wanted them to see. Henry drew in a deep breath and turned his sharp eyes to his companion.
"Lewis, Love," Henry said and when Lewis didn't answer walked up to him. Lewis finally turned. "He is Aldor's great-grandson. He is your nephew." Lewis sucked in a breath and looked back at Harry.
"Who is Aldor?" Harry asked.
"My brother. He left the family and we talked for a bit but then he just disappeared. I have been looking for his family for so long," Lewis said. "Charles, he is your grandfather, yes?" Harry nodded but Sirius answered.
"Yes, Charles was his grandfather. He was a wonderful man and took me in when I was disowned and fled from my family," Sirius told the shaken man.
"Was?" Lewis asked.
"Was. He was murdered during a wizarding war just before James was," Sirius told him. The man looked heartbroken.
"Who is James?" He asked dreading the answer.
"My dad," Harry said quietly.
"You are the last of my brother's line?" Lewis asked. Harry nodded and then shrugged.
"Charles was an only son and James was the only son of Charles, and I am the only son of James. I have a son. Teddy. He is blood-adopted so technically he also carries our blood," Harry told the man. His uncle. More family.
"May I?" The man asked and stepped forward. He had his arms lifted like he wanted to hold Harry. Harry nodded and patted Sirius on the hand before walking into the man's arms. He held him tightly and breathed him in. His magic felt so familiar to Harry. It felt like family and home. He could feel the familial bonds between them. After a moment the man looked up at Perry.
"Why didn't you tell us why you wanted us to come? We would have come sooner, we wouldn't have waited two weeks to meet," Lewis told the Prince. Perry looked mad for a moment before schooling his face.
"We did. Many messages were sent when he found his Peverell seal. The connection was made rather quickly by one of his Pareya and myself. We tried many times sending messages to your Alpha and Submissive for a meeting. They only replied once to tell us to leave you alone that they were no longer accepting requests to validate missing family for you. We had to do it this way before they would agree to a summons," Peryton told Lewis.
Lewis looked at his Alpha with accusing eyes. Henry looked guilty.
"Is that true? You have been denying requests? I thought they had just stopped coming," Lewis said with a voice full of hurt.
"Lewis, they were always fake. You would get your hopes up so high only for them to be crushed. You were getting so depressed and we couldn't let people keep hurting you that way," Henry pleaded with him to understand. Lewis tightened his arms around Harry.
"But this one was real, Henry. What if they had given up asking? What if they had decided to just remove it themselves and never contact us again? I would never know him. My nephew and you and Cora would have been the reason why," Lewis said in a voice so full of hurt that Harry squeezed him and trilled up at him. Many rumbles responded to sooth him.
"We will discuss this at home later. Right now I want to spend time with my nephew," Lewis said by way of dismissing his Alpha. Henry looked like he might argue but instead headed for the door.
"You want me to leave?" Henry asked. Lewis nodded.
"I will be home later," Lewis told him without looking at him. Henry just nodded and walked out. Lewis took a deep breath.
"I want to know everything about you, Harry. Everything. Do you have plans for the day?" Lewis asked. Harry looked back at Orion who shook his head no.
"No plans," Harry told him with a smile.
"Then how about you and I and your bonded spend the day around the markets? We can get to know each other a bit. How does that sound?" Lewis asked. Harry nodded and beamed brightly when his Alpha nodded with a smile. "Will you be joining us Prince Peryton?"
"No, unfortunately I have work to do. Take care of my submissive and enjoy your day together," Peryton said with a smile. Harry went to the Prince and kissed him and nuzzled him a bit.
"I will see you at home, Perry." Harry said with a chirp.
"Of course, Darling. See you later," Perry returned and then the group of them were off so that Harry could get to know his new uncle and see a bit more of Nevarah. Harry was glad that this had worked out so nicely. Lewis was fun and Sirius said he was a little like James in personality after he had married Lily when he was more calm. It was a really nice start to his time in Nevarah. It could truly only get more fun from here.
