I feel it coming down
well that was weird Regulus thought as he walked up the stairs
He was about to walk into James and Lily's bedroom when he heard Harry start crying.
Regulus turned around and walked into Harry's room where he saw him crying in his crib.
Regulus jumped up onto the windowsill and looked down at Harry. He could hear someone walking up the stairs and towards Harry's bedroom.
The door creaked open and Regulus was surprised to see that it was Remus who walked in. He beelined straight for Harry's crib and he pulled the baby into his arms as he whispered a lullaby to him.
Harry calmed down and eventually fell asleep again, Remus placed him back into his crib before he faced Regulus.
"Hello Regulus," Remus said as he crossed his arms," Fancy seeing you here.
Regulus's heart stopped
"You know we're all looking for you right?"
This can't be happening Regulus thought
"You know, I find it quite funny that you thought no one would notice," Remus carried on smirking while he stared at the frightened cat, "After all you are terrible at keeping secrets."
This is happening Regulus jumped down from the windowsill and faced Remus his guard up
"But, I could just be talking to an actual cat. Hell, I could be having a psychotic break, it was bound to happen." Remus chuckled.
Regulus tilted his head and he took a step away from Remus. He noticed that Remus didn't have his wand and he stopped.
Remus stopped smiling, "I'm not going to hurt you Regulus, your family is weird but you all have your reasons. I won't rat you out, I promise."
Regulus took a deep breath before he walked towards Remus. He stared up at him for a second, contemplating his options before he decided to hell with it.

Remus stared down at the black cat.
If this isn't Regulus I'm definitely going crazy he thought
He waited for something to happen but the cat just kept staring, Remus was losing hope and he was just about to leave when he saw the cat changing.
He gasped as Regulus transformed from the cat and stood before him.
"Well looks like you found me," Regulus whispered his voice sounding hoarse from disuse, "Please don't tell anyone."
Damn he needs therapy Remus thought
"I won't tell anyone." Remus promised again and Regulus sagged with relief.
"Thank you," Regulus sighed before he stopped and asked shyly, "Can I have a hug?"
He really needs therapy
"Of course." Remus replied, opening his arms as an invitation.
Regulus took one step forward before crashing into Remus' arms.
They stood like that for a while, at one point Regulus had started crying but Remus didn't comment on it.
"I just want you to be safe," Remus whispered after a while, "Can you promise that?"
Regulus sniffled. "No," He answered, "But I will try."
