That night
Regulus sat on his floor contemplating his next move. He had no idea what to do next, he couldn’t talk to anyone because they all hated him, but he needed to get help.
He felt a sharp pain in his arm, and he looked down to see his body covered in scratches and blood. Ok, that’s not good regulus decided. He got up from his spot on the floor and he slowly ventured out into the hallway and down into the bathroom.
Regulus looked at himself in the mirror and saw that he looked like death. He had dark circles under his eyes and the scratches, blood, and bruises that showed from under his clothes helped make a ghastly image. He looked away from his reflection as he decided to take a bath.

After the bath, Regulus was feeling a lot better. He pointedly ignored his reflection as he made his way into his room again and he looked for some clothes.
After finding a suitable outfit Regulus made his way downstairs and he carefully looked into the kitchen. After seeing no one in there he made his way in and made himself some toast.
He slowly ate it sitting in his chair at the table as he thought about what to do next.
Everyone thinks I’m an evil death eater so I can’t go to them for help Regulus decided, although I could go to jam- No don’t do that he’ll try to kill you, you idiot! He looked around the room expecting someone to laugh at him for being so silly but then he remembered he was alone, in Sirius’s new house, as a death eater whom is currently hated by everyone.
Just then he heard the chimes from the ward that were around the house letting him know someone was coming. Shit! Regulus jumped up and ran upstairs, he threw open his door and grabbed his wand and the locket before he heard the door open. Double shit! Regulus cursed himself for getting so comfortable as he looked for a way out.
“I don’t…he’s…were blacks…but I need to….I’m his…” Sirius’s voice was muffled from downstairs but Regulus heard it nonetheless. They were looking for him. He started to hear footsteps coming up the stairs. “If I don’t find him here, We'll send an owl for them don’t worry,” Sirius yelled to someone downstairs. Regulus looked around his room for somewhere to go and his eyes landed on the window. Bingo.

The door creaked open , but Sirius found no one in the room. “Hey Remus, send an owl for them. We need to find him. Now” He said, he was starting to get concerned where are you, you petit salaud Sirius thought as he walked back downstairs to join Remus.

Regulus breathed out a sigh of relief as he got out from under the bed. Ok, where do I go now? He wondered Ugh! This is so going to suck Regulus thought as he found an idea.
He put his wand and his amulet into his pocket, and then he shifted into his cat form. His cat form was a cute black cat which James used to say perfectly describe- No! Stop that he hates you!
“I’m worried…no Remus…just wouldn’t.” he heard Sirius say as he jumped onto the ledge of his window. Goodbye Sirius, Regulus thought as he jumped from his window and onto the fence before he ran off into the cold night air.
