The year was 1975. The marauders were back for their 5th year at Hogwarts (One year before the prank). The resident 4 Gryffindor met up in their dorms after a long day of classes. Little did two of the Gryffindors know what was going to happen. It all began when James Potter, renowned mischievous Prankster, decided to test the boundaries of his friends' courage. Late one evening, inside the cozy Gryffindor common room, James gathered Remus, Sirius, and their loyal comrade, Peter Pettigrew, for a clandestine meeting.
"Boys," James declared, a glint of mischief dancing in his eyes, "I have a proposition."
The three friends exchanged curious glances, waiting eagerly for James to announce his daring plan.
"There's a dare that I've conjured, a test of bravery and vulnerability," James continued. "It involves Remus and Sirius, and a moonlit encounter by the shores of the Black Lake."
Remus, who had borne the secret burden of being a werewolf, felt a mix of trepidation and curiosity. Sirius, known for his fearless nature, raised an eyebrow in silent challenge. They both knew that there was no turning back once a dare was issued.
"What is this dare of yours, James?" Remus asked, his voice tinged with a hint of caution.
"Well my dear friends I simply wish for Siruis to give you your first kiss moony," James said his eyes lighting up. Remus and Sirius blushed as their eyes met. "Fine prongs. We'll do you dare just don't regret it when we get back at you," Sirius said getting his cocky attitude back and sending a wink toward a red Remus. The werewolf looked down, his heart pounding in his chest. A mix of apprehension and longing coursed through his veins. The notion of kissing Sirius, his closest friend, awakened emotions within him that he had long suppressed. But how could he resist the allure of the moon, conspiring to reveal their hidden desires? He took a deep breath to centre himself. "Very Well. Tonight then," Remus said hoping his voice wasn't wavering.
Later that night the two best friends meet at the Lake. "Sirius you don't have to do this. James was just being an ass and -mmph, "Remus started suddenly being cut off as Sirius cupped his face in his hands and pulled him into a loving kiss. Remus, not wanting to miss this moment kisses back his hands resting on Sirius's waist. After a few minutes, the two pulled away for air. "What was that," Remus asked. "I believe that was a kiss my dear moony,"Sirius said. "I know that, but I thought you didn’t want to ruin our friendship,”Remus said. “Oh Remus I always had feelings that were more than friendship for you,”Sirius said and smiled at his best friend. Remus blushed. “I love you too,”he said. “Let’s do that’s again,”Sirius said.
And then, under the watchful eye of the full moon, their lips met in a second tender, electrifying kiss. It was the sweetest of whispers, a secret shared only between them, time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in the unparalleled magic of that moment.
