Chapter 1- To Gringotts
Four Days Later (The 3rd)

Harry looks at his phone and the message his friend sent. He replied quickly.
Sorry Sage smth came up. I'll be there next time.
Harry turned his phone off before entering The Leaky Cauldron.
Tom greets him as he enters the inn. "Mr Potter, good to see you." Harry's been coming to the pub more these holidays as the Dursley's decided to go on vacation somewhere, Harry didn't care to ask. "I've told you so many times Tom, it's Harry, not Mr Potter." Tom laughs.
"Just going through to Diagon alley?"
"Yessir."
"You know where to go then." Harry gives a two-finger salute to Tom before going out the back and entering the alley.

Harry entered Gringotts and went up to the closest free goblin.
"What business do you have with us today?" The goblin asked without looking up from what he was doing.
"I have an appointment today at 12 with Gornuk."
The Goblin looks up. "Name."
"Harry Potter." Harry ignored the people who turned to stare at the mention of his name.
"Follow me." The Goblin says. Harry follows the unnamed goblin through multiple marble hallways until they finally stop and the goblin he was following opens a door. "In here, Mr Potter. Gornuk will be with you soon."
The goblin leaves, closing the door behind him. Harry turns his phone on and realises he had missed texts from his friends in their groupchat.

Charlie: u better explain urself potter
Alyx: HOW DARETH THEE
Finnik: u just said that outloud and txt it
Alyx: IDC! HARRY POTTER EXPLAIN NOW!
Red: WE PLANNED THIS FOR YOU AND YOU DIDNT EVEN SHOW
Sage: guys calm down
Red: SHUSH
Alyx: SHUSH
Harry: I told sage i was busy
Red: LIKE 10 MINS BEFORE!!!
Alyx: WE SPENT SO LONG PLANNING UR BDAY AND U IGNORE US! SHAME ON YOUUUUUUUU
Red: shame
Alyx: shame
Finnik: shame
Sage: shame
charlie: shame
Harry: why are yall ganging up on me now!
Glitch: guys we literally got some soda and a few bottles of soda
Glitch: we can do it another time
Harry: hail my saviour!
Harry: sorry guys gotta go
Red: DONT YOU DARE GO OFFLINE POTTER WE'RE NOT FINISHED YET
-Harry has gone offline-
Alyx: son of a bitch!
Harry puts his phone away when he finally hears the door open again. He stands up as a goblin enters. "Gornuk I assume?" Harry asks, bowing slightly and holding his hand out. Gornuk smiles a toothy grin.
"You would be assuming correct Mr Potter."
"It's just Harry please. No need to be so formal with me." Gornuk looks mildly surprised.
"Harry it is then." Gornuk and Harry sit down.
"What's this about an inheritance?" Harry asks. "I was never told I had one."
Gornuk looks at Harry. "All heirs of noble houses have to take an inheritance. If the parents are alive it happens when the witch or wizard turns 17. But as you have no magical family remaining, you were meant to take your test when you turn 11 so that you could take over as lord of your house."
Harry looked shocked. "I wasn't aware my family was a noble house, how is this test done?"
Gornuk seemed to gesture to something and another goblin came in carrying a case. "We simply draw your blood, which allows us to get all information about you. Family, vaults, property and any potions or spells used on you from the day you were born to present."
Harry voiced how impressed he was.
"Yes, magic is indeed impressive, especially magic of the goblin kind."
Gornuk reached out for Harry's arm. "Now if you don't mind, lets begin."
