Chapter 3
I wake up to the sounds of birds singing outside of my window causing me to groan before getting up gracefully. I get out of bed and slip on my slippers before I head off to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I strip off my clothes and put the shower on before getting in and washing myself. 15 minutes later, I get out of the shower and put on a bathrobe before walking out of my bathroom and heading straight into my dressing room. I get out my wand and whisper, " Exaresco,'' before watching how my wet hair slowly dries. I put my wand away and take off my bathrobe before putting my undergarments on and putting a white crop top on with a white hoodie over it. I then tuck it in a matching tight skirt before I put on white air Jordan's trainers and slowly combing through my hair. I then use wandless magic and do my hair in wavy tight curls.

I put some make-up on before I grab a white backpack and enchant it to be bottomless and weightless. I then put my Hogwarts uniforms in there and some other stuff I forgot to pack before I hear mom calling for me. I quickly put my wand in the backpack before leaving my dressing room. I look up and see Tally cleaning my room before she notices me and bows causing me to shake my head." Morning, heiress.'' She says tiredly and I smile at her as I pick up my suitcases." Morning Tally.'' I say before walking out of my room with my two suitcases. I walk down the stairs and straight to the living room where mom was waiting for me." My beautiful girl. I'm going to miss you so much.'' She says as she pulls me into a hug and kisses my forehead." I'll miss you too, mom.'' I say as I pull and she nods before smiling gently at me." Your father's has a meeting so I'll be dropping you off.'' Mom say as she gets her wand out causing me to nod." Yes mom.'' I say before grabbing her hand just as she apparates to where the train is. I open my eyes and see a red train and a lot of families surrounding us." Now, sweetheart. Stay away from the headmaster. Ok?'' Mom asks me and I nod before putting my pureblood mask on." Of course mother. I'll see you in the holidays.'' I say and she nods before looking around and giving a quick kiss on the cheeks before clearing her throat." Goodbye Lexi.'' Mom uses her nickname for me and I smile at her." Goodbye mother.'' I say just as she apparates back home, I guess. I look around and put my pureblood mask on before walking through the crowd of people and getting onto the train, looking for Hermione and her friends. I knock on a compartment and hear a sweet voice say," Come in.'' I open the compartment door and step inside and see Hermione, a redhead and blonde girl who seems to be in a dreamy state of mind.
" Alex, you came. Meet Ginny Weasley and Luna Pandora Lovegood, my two friends. And girls this is Alexandra Diana Salvatore, she's transferring to my year.'' Hermione explains and the two girls nod." So what house do you want to get in?'' Ginny asks me curiously and I think for a moment." I suppose Ranvenclaw or Slytherin, would suit me well.'' I answer her and she nods before biting her lips as I put my suitcases up on the shelves." I'm a Slytherin but my mother wasn't really excited about that.'' Ginny says and I nod before looking at her carefully." Prejudiced?'' I questions and she sighs bitterly before nodding." By the way. I love your outfit Rhea.'' Luna says and I look at her in surprise and slight shock." Thank you Moon.'' I say and she smiles at the nickname before going back to her book. The train horn then blows telling us that the train is going to leave. I sit down besides Luna just as the train starts moving before getting out a book from my backpack and reading the title ' Advanced Ancient Runes ' just as I open the book, the compartment door opens and I see a pair of ginger twins, a dirty blonde haired boy and a nervous looking boy." Hey love.'' The dirty blonde guy says as he heads towards Ginny and the nervous looking boy smiles gently at Luna while one of the twins wink at Hermione causing her to lightly shake her head.
Hermione clears her throat and looks at me before looking at the boys." Boys, this is Alexandra Diana Salvatore, and Alex this is Fred Weasley my soulmate. And his twin brother, George Weasley. Neville Longbottom is Luna's soulmate and finally Cormac Mclaggen is Ginny's soulmate.'' Hermione introduces us and I nod at them before going back to my book." So Alex have you found your soulmate?'' George asks me curiously causing me to slightly stiffen up before shaking my head." No, I haven't.'' I answer him and he nods before looking down." Well, you never know you could meet them at Hogwarts.'' Fred says and I shrug before nodding." We're going to hang out with Lee. See you at Hogwarts.'' Neville says and they all nod before the boys leave the compartment." When is the old lady coming?'' Ginny questions Hermione who just rolled her eyes at her just as an old lady pushing a trolley full of sweets opens the door." There she is.'' Hermione says and Ginny sheepishly apologizes as I stand up and grab some Chocolate frogs, 2 treacle tarts, a few liquorice wands and a cauldron cake before paying the lady who nods at me before Ginny goes after me. I sit back down and offer some to Luna which she gratefully accepts. The next few hours passes by as we all talk about Hogwarts and by we I mean Hermione, Ginny and Luna while I was just reading my book and listening to them.
" We should change now considering that we're reaching Hogwarts soon.'' Hermione says as she stands up and gets her Hogwarts uniform out and we all follow her lead. We face the corner as I spell the door shut so no one can walk in on us changing before I quickly change out of my clothes and put on my new Hogwarts uniform. Once I've finished changing, I sit down and pull my high socks up before tying my black high heels boots laces. A few minutes later, the train stops and we stand up and get our luggage from the shelves above us. We walk out of class when I feel a pull down the corridor which I just shrug off before following the girls out of the train. As I step out of the train, I see a giant man calling for the first years." Come on Rhea.'' Luna says as she grabs my hand and pulls me over to a carriage that's has Thestrals ties to them. I look at them for a moment before getting onto the carriage and sitting down next to Ginny with Hermione and Luna opposite us." So, are you going to be sorted with first year or what?'' Ginny asks me and I shake my head." Yeah, I guess so.'' I answer her and she nods in response. We continue to make small talks as we make our way to Hogwarts with me looking around in awe. As the ride ends, we get off the carriages and make our way inside the castle when someone calls out my name." Miss Salvatore.'' I hear a feminine voice so I turn around and see a stern-looking teacher in front of me." I'm professor McGonagall. You shall be sorted into your house when all the 1st year students are finished with their sorting.'' Professor McGonagall says and I nod before she turns around and walks up the stairs and waits there for a moment when we suddenly hear some excited chattering. I quickly put a pureblood mask on just as a lot of kids come up the stairs with a giant man in front of them." Professor McGonagall, here are the first years. I'll leave them with you now.'' He says before walking through the doors. McGonagall makes a speech about how the houses will be your family and blah, blah, blah, before she finally leads us in with me at the back of course.
A rusty old hat suddenly starts singing about the 4 houses before McGonagall began reading out names for them to be sorted. A few minutes later, the first years have all been sorted and now McGonagall calls my name causing me to walk up to the stool gracefully and sit down while she puts the hat on my head causing me to shiver slightly." Well, hello there Alexandra. You're heart is brave, your rather smart and ambitious as well as cunning. The sorting hat continue to name my qualities before he finally comes to a decision and shouts out my house." Better be Slytherin.'' The hat shouts aloud making the green table politely clap for me. I take the hat off my head and give it to McGonagall before walking gracefully to the Slytherin table sitting next to Ginny. Dumbledore then says his little speech before allowing us to eat. As I was eating and occasionally talking with Ginny I could feel some people staring at me so I look around and see 5 boys and 2 girls staring at me with awe making me quickly realize that they're my soulmates. I widen my eyes as I look at them for a few more moments before I look back down at my food still in shock of seeing my soulmates. Ginny raises her eyebrows at me but I just shake my head and she nods before we both go back to eating our dinner. Once dinner was finished, I followed Ginny to the Slytherin common room where I'll be staying not noticing 7 people following behind us.
Ginny leads me into the Slytherin Common room saying the password and I look around in awe looking over the common room." And this is the Slytherin common room.'' Ginny says and I nod before collapsing down onto a couch." I'm tired.'' I say and she sighs before shaking her head." So am I. Which is why I'm going to bed. I suggest you do the same.'' Ginny says before getting up causing me to wave goodbye at her." Goodnight.'' I say and she returns the gesture before walking up the right staircase and going to her room. I pull my Advanced Ancient Runes books out before I begin to read over it not noticing my soulmates sitting down surrounding me." What book are you reading?'' I hear a male voice asks me and I feel a shiver run down my spine before I just shrug it off." None of your business.'' I say before turning over a page." Rude, I just wanted to get to know my soulmate.'' The voice says again and my head snaps up only to see that I'm surrounded by my soulmates." Hey love.'' A boy with curly hair says to me and I smile hesitantly at him." How about we introduce ourselves. I'm Daphne Greengrass. That's Pansy Parkinson, Theodore Nott, Lorenzo Berkshire, Draco Malfoy, Mattheo Riddle and Blaise Zabini.'' The blonde girl says while pointing at them all as she speaks." And you?'' Pansy asks me curiously and I straighten myself up before introducing myself in a confident voice." Merry met, I'm heiress Alexandra Diana Salvatore. From the Most Ancient and Noble House of Salvatore.'' I sat and they nod before looking at me closely causing me to look down avoiding their eyes.
" I should go to my dorm. It's getting rather late,'' I say as I close my book and stand up making them all stand up as well." Of course love. See you tomorrow.'' Lorenzo says before kissing my forehead. I look wide eyed at him before quickly making my to my dorm room. I look for my dorm and find it next to Ginny's thankfully. I go in and see my suitcases on my bed. I use wandless magic to unpack my belongings before I change out of my uniform and into my green PJs. I get into bed and close my eyes before it takes me a couple of moments to actually fall asleep with my soulmates in my mind.
