Making A New Friend
With a pop, my parents and I appear in front of our mansion/future home I look at my parents and see that are making their way inside causing me to follow after them, only a few steps behind them. We make our way to the living room and both my parents look at me smiling lovingly at me." Diana, your father and I will be sorting through some paperwork. We suggest you go to Diagon Alley and buy all the required equipment and uniform you may possibly need.'' Mom says and I nod my head at her before looking at dad." I'll unpack my belongings first and then I'll go to Diagon Alley. If that's alright with you?'' I ask my parents and they nod before looking at each other, communicating through their eyes." Of course, my pearl.'' Dad says before kissing my forehead causing me to slightly smile." Have a good day. Mom and dad.'' I say before leaving the living room.
I see a house elf cleaning the wall so I clear my throat and the elf jumps before she turns to look at me." How can Tally help young mistress?'' The house elf asks me and I smile at her." Well, Tally for starters you can show me where my room is.'' I ask the elf but it came out like an order so she nods before walking towards me." Tally could apparate young miss there, if she likes?'' The elf says and I nod in response as she gently grabs my hand and apparates me to my new bedroom." This is heiress room. May Tally leave now?'' She questions nervously and I nod" You may leave, Tally.'' I say and she disappears within a blink of an eye. I see my suitcases on the bed and sigh tiredly before using wandless magic and a non-verbal spell to unpack my suitcases. I then walking into dressing room and look at the full body mirror before I use wandless magic to change my clothes into a blue crop top with full sleeves and black jeans with black heels boots. I then put my hair in a crown braid hairstyle before grabbing a bottomless purse and walking out of my dressing room. I then walk out of my room and walk downstairs tp the fireplace before grabbing some white powder and standing in the fireplace.
" Diagon Alley.'' I make sure to pronounce it clearly and throw the powder in front of me before I appear in a rather busy street. I look around and smile slightly before putting a pureblood mask on and making my way to Madam Malkin's clothes shop to get my new Hogwarts uniform. As I make my way to her shop I bump into a curly brown haired girl who apologizes to me straight away." I'm sorry.'' She says before looking up at me." It's alright. Could you perhaps show me to Madam Malkin's.'' I ask her cautiously and she instantly nods her head before smiling gently at me." Of course, please follow me. I'm Hermione Granger by the way.'' The girl 'Hermione' says before leading the way to the shop." Merry met. I'm heiress Alexandra Diana Salvatore. From the most Ancient and Noble House of Salvatore. Pleasure to meet you miss Granger.'' I say nodding at her and she seems slightly surprised before she nods back. We make our way through the crowded place and reach Madam Malkin's shop." If you don't mind me asking, what school do you go to?'' Hermione asks me curiously and I look at her." I'll be transferring to Hogwarts.'' I answer the girl and she nods" I'm sure you'll enjoy it. There's 4 houses: Gryffindor for the courageous, Ravenclaw for the intelligent, Hufflpuff for the loyal and just and finally Slytherin for the cunning and ambition.'' Hermione says and I nod as we walk into the shop.
" Ah, a new customer. What would you like dear?'' A lady, who I'm guessing is Madam Malkin, questions me." Hogwart's uniform, please.'' I answer her and she nods before telling me to stand on the stool so she can take my measurements." Will you be willing to perhaps show me around?'' I ask Hermione and she smiles politely as she nods at me." Of course, I have nothing to do for the day.'' She agrees making my lips twitch up not that she notices. We talk for a while as Madam Malkin continues to take my measurements before she hands me my Hogwarts Uniforms." That'll be 30 galleons.'' She says and I nod before getting my card out of my enchanted purse." I'll pay with card.'' I say and she nods before scanning my card and writing down my name before giving me a nod. I walk out of the shop with Hermione before taking a breath while looking around." Time to get some books.'' I say and Hermione visibly brighten up." Ooh, Follow me.'' She says before walking with a skip in her steps. We walk into a book store and I look around for the books I'll need and as well as books I find interesting.
I get the books I require for school as well as a few that caught my eyes. I pay for the book and put them into my enchanted purse before walking out with Hermione hot on my tail." What shall I do now?'' I wondered aloud and Hermione looks around before her eyes stops on something." We could visit the ice cream Parlour.'' Hermione suggests and I nod before following her to the ice cream place." I'll go order and you can find a place to sit.'' Hermione says and I nod once again before telling her my order." Blueberry ice cream with whipped cream and frozen blueberries at the top.'' I tell her and she nods before walking away to the counter while I find a table in the corner away from public eye. A couple moments later, Hermione comes back and sits in front of me." Our order will be here shortly.'' She says and I nod as she begin to tell me a bit about herself, Like how she's a RanvenClaw and her friends Luna Lovegood who's really smart and sweet. and Ginny Weasley who's really courageous and cheeky. Shortly after, a woman comes and hands us our order while smiling gently at us." Have a lovely day dears.'' The woman says before serving other witches and wizards.
We start talking while having our ice cream and once were done we pay for our order and leave the shop and surprisingly we see that it's getting dark." Well, I suppose I'll see you tomorrow on the train.'' I say to Hermione and she nods before smiling at me." I'll save you a seat.'' She says and I nod before walking towards the Floo." Of course. Good night Hermione.'' I say and she repeats it back to my before I yell out 'Salvatore Manor' making sure to pronounce it clearly as I appear in my living room. I quickly walk up to my room and freshen up before letting my hair down and putting an elegant blue gown on. I slip into some blue heels and walk out of my room and to the dining room I see mom sitting on the right side of dad. I quickly sit on the left side of dad and wait as the elves come and serve us our dinner. We ate in silence and I kept noticing mom and dad exchanging looks throughout dinner thinking I hadn't noticed but I did.
After dinner had finished, I excuse myself and look at dad who nods at me before looking back at mom. I walk out of the living room and to my room feeling really tired as I use wandless magic to change into my PJs. I get into my bed and close the light before slowly falling into a deep slumber.
