A black hole

I have missed you so very much since the last time we spoke. I wish I’d known just how much I’d regret leaving you. I wish I’d known to stare into your eyes for a moment longer, lean into your touch and beg you to never leave me, like I have you.
I feel like a black hole gone rogue. Endlessly tunnelling through space and time, no purpose. Nobody really knows that much about black holes, you can’t see them, they are practically invisible, forever elusive. I am a black hole. What is known, however, is that once you pass the event horizon there is no escape from the empty void beyond. Know that I left to protect you from that void, JFP. I love you.
I miss you every day. Those last memories together that you will scarcely remember live on in my memory eternally. I never wanted to leave you. Perhaps when all this is over we’ll reunite, and maybe the love you once had for me could return. Until then, I’ll always think of you until the end of time, until the universe implodes, and forevermore.
I’ll stare out of a window, waiting for a your curly brown hair and those dumb red muggle shoes you always used to wear (converlse’ you used to say?) and infinite days will pass me by as I wander the universe, lost without you. I love you infinitely, JFP.
