____
Two changes to roll format this chapter.
1) Delayed rolling for potential Perks until the end of the chapter.
2) New ‘weighted’ roll. Instead of all Perks having equal chance of being selected, I altered the percent likelihood of selecting a Perk which will advance my planned storyline. For this chapter, the Perks in the “Cloak” section of my spreadsheet (which relate to survival skills, hunting, navigation, etc.) were heavily weighted so that there was a 70% likelihood of selecting a Cloak Perk, 10% likelihood Wand, 10% Stone, and 10% Chosen One (Personal Reality section is still locked).
After rolling for a Cloak Perk (like I had hoped), I then rolled to select for a Perk within the Cloak group. Result was-
Cloak: Marksman: Hawkeye [Marvel What if…] for a total cost of 200 CP

Cloak: Marksman: Hawkeye [Marvel What if…] (200)
Perhaps you prefer fighting from afar? No matter the tool, from bows to rifles to even darts and golf clubs, you are a true master of ranged combat. Even ricocheting shields would be easier for you as predicting the trajectory of your projectiles becomes child's play. It really makes you wonder about the definition of “unpowered” if you can headshot a dozen Ultron drones while they’re flying from a kilometer away. As an added bonus, this gives you the skills to craft and utilize specialized ammunition.
Bonus Perk: In My Universe… (Free)
You have to admit, being visited by a multiversal being or your alternate self would be pretty unbelievable, even in a world of superheroes, magic, and comic-book science. It’s a good thing you’ve got such a trustworthy face. So long as you tell the truth, people will accept your strange nature. You can still hide information by omission, and they still might need some time to warm up with you, but should you reveal your multiversal origins, you’re much more likely to be believed.
Bonus Perk: Like Lavender (Free)
You have looks befitting the silver screen! Whether you’re the actual God of Thunder or just a Chip & Dales dancer that looks like him, you’ve got an appearance that will turn heads, even in this world of superhumans. As an added bonus, you’ll find these looks are much easier to maintain. Whether you’ve been thrown through a brick wall, are covered in zombie chunks, or are straight-up dead, you’ll always be clean and smelling fresh!

Discussion-
Stacimalibu: Now I feel bad about the gods and deities in that world. It became a tragedy, and wonder about their story.
In a lot of ways ASOIAF is a post-apocalypse fantasy world in which the gods LOST the big battle.
There is evidence everywhere that things have gone seriously wrong. Several ancient civilizations abruptly died or went insane/feral. There are disturbing Lovecraftian structures and whispered rumors of "The Deep Ones" throughout the world. Several of the gods seem to have been corrupted and gone insane (ex. Drowned God, The Great Stallion). Powerful elemental magics are only used for destructive purposes. There are various flavors of undead and resurrection. Insanity and sadism seem to progressively develop in those in leadership positions.
Conversely, the history of the world indicates that things were once a lot more positive and high fantasy. Essos was once home to a great civilization GRRM modeled after Tolkien's Númenóreans. The Valyrians were once champions against Ghiscari slavers. Huge civil engineering projects were once fairly common in both Westeros and Essos. The Vale once had knights riding atop griffons. Etc. Etc.
I've seen some great fics in which Harry Potter has to save a world in which the good guys lost and Voldemort or Grindelwald won. One of the overarching plots in this fic will be that Branwen is expected to save a world(s) in which the gods lost. But the Celestial Forge system is capable of handling that level of threat... if the protagonist can survive long enough.
