"Fwutterby "
Regulus is bored, Siri told him to sit down and they're going to have some lessons but it's so boring, his old tutor at home is much more engaging than the teacher here, he lets out a little yawn and slumps his head on Siri
"Sleepy?"
"Uh huh"
"me too"
Reggie giggles silently and snuggles closer to Sirius as he lets out another yawn, he heard his big brother yawn too and a minute later, both are slumped asleep
"Reg, hey Regulus" he feels poking on his cheeks and frowns but it's just Remus and he said that the class is over , Sirius is still asleep though
"Shhh" Remus said and he pokes Siri on the nose he made a funny face and sleeps but Remus kissed his cheek
"Moony, five minutes"
"Class is dismissed Pads"
"Siwi! Up now" Regulus pokes Siri on his cheek repeatedly
"Okay Okay I'm up! What do we have next?"
"Transfiguration" Remus replies helping Sirius with his things, while Sirius picks up Regulus
"Wanna walk?" Sirius asks
Regulus pouts
"Don't wanna"
"Come on you're big now, you should walk" Remus tries to coax
"Don't wanna get wost" Regulus doesn't like walking because when he would , they would walk away and run without him and Regulus' has little feet he can't walk that fast yet , and mummy doesn't hold his hand when he walks too but then he's gonna get lost and he doesn't like that, it's scary
"You won't get lost , I'll hold your hand" Sirius slowly puts him down, he did hold his hand and Regulus now feels better
"Let's go?" Remus smiles at them
"Okay" Reggie nods
Sirius did not let go but Regulus still can't keep up a bit , he really doesn't like his little feet right now
"Here I'll hold your other hand" Remus offers a hand and Reggie takes it
It's better now, he can keep up with both, he even wants to do some skippies
"Siwi, can we do skippies?"
Sirius looks at him and then thinks
"What do you think Moony, let's do skippies?"
"Pwease?"
Remus looks at both of them a little confused
"Ah Reggie,Moony doesn't know skippies, teach him " Sirius chided earning a little glare from Remus which he returned by playfully sticking out his tongue
"Kay! Wemus, tis easy, I skip then you swing"
"Okay… are you sure this is okay? Sounds a little dangerous "
"Oh come on Moony it'll be fun"
"Pwease Wemus! Pwease"
Remus looks at the two of them giving him the eyes, and he concedes
"Okay, okay"
"Yay!"
Peals of laughter echoed the halls as they pass by with their little game, Regulus would jump a bit then both Sirius and Remus swings him a bit, both joining in the laughter
"We're here" Sirius announces and though Regulus still wants to do his skippies, it's time for another class again, he has to sit down and be bored again, he pouts as he sat beside Sirius
Turns out, transfiguration is better than the earlier subject , Regulus looks fascinated as the students transfigures some objects into animals
There's a snake, a bird, an otter, a ferret
Sirius transfigured one of his things into a bird that fluttered on Regulus' head
"it's a biwd! It's a biwd! Siwi do wit again"
"Yeah let's make another animal, what do you want?" Sirius asks him
"Snake!"
"Why a snake?"
"Want the cute one, the wittle snake! pwease, can you make gween too?"
"Alright!"
Regulus happily watch as the quill Sirius made him hold turned into a small green hognose snake,it slithered a bit on Reggie's arm before it reverts back into a quill
"Mowwee!" Reggie requested
"I…"
"Oh wow! Wook Siwi fwutterby! Too many!"
Sure enough butterflies are flying around the room, it was James who transfigured a bunch of ripped parchment into this wonderful display
A monarch butterfly flew near Regulus and slowly perched on his little nose , the toddler just watched all wide eyed, before the little butterfly reverted into a little piece of parchment, he looks at Sirius who's looking at James who's giving him a thumbs up
"Nice one James!" Sirius praised returning the thumbs up, and then the chattering continues after and James with a wide grin thanked McGonagall as the professor awarded some points
Regulus frowns at James who he's glaring at again, he's really too smiley, but he did make the wonderful butterfly display, Regulus still doesn't like him too much
"Well done! Well done students, now before I dismiss you, I want you to make an essay about the next chapter of our lesson, to be passed on our next meeting, alright, You are dismissed"
The students left the room ,James and Peter joined Sirius and Remus and Reggie, still talking about the butterfly display James made at class earlier
Regulus who's now being carried by Remus looks at James
"Fwutterby" the toddler spoke and the four adolescents looks at him, their chatter pausing
"What is it Reggie?" Sirius asks
The toddler points at James his brows a little furrowed
"Fwutterby, pwease do wit again"
James blinks at the toddler and then Remus, Peter and Sirius laughs
"You mean you want James to do the butterfly again?" Sirius pries and the toddler pouts his cheeks puffing up and pinkish
"Yes"
" Aww Reggie, of course , I'll do it again when we go back to the dorms but does that mean we're friends now?"
Reggie scowls
"No, too smiwey!"
James smiles wider
The toddler turns and just placed his head on Remus' shoulder as they laugh
"Alright, knock it off now, let's go before we get late to potions" Remus tells them
" You guys see that ? See how the little gremlin can get Moony to his side"
"Probably because he's cuter" Peter says with a shrug
Sirius lets out a dramatic gasp
"Peter! Even you! Prongs back me up here"
"Sorry Pads, Kinda agree , little Black is cute"
"You're supposed to be ony side! Traitor… ughhh fine, can't blame him, everybody likes Moony "
"Second that!" Peter pats him on the shoulder
"Hey! Wemus say we gotta be wate!" Regulus calls
"Welp you heard the gremlin let's go"
They raced to their next class
