He finally had finished. The perfect fall bouquet.
It'd only taken him a couple of hours.
Severus checked his watch. Hermione would be home soon. She had told him she didn't want him to buy her any presents this year.
Well he hadn't bought her anything… No, he'd gone out and picked every single flower from the fields himself.
A technicality, but he had respected her wishes while also getting her something.
Now to wait for her reaction. He stayed hidden, leaving the bouquet on the entrance table.
"YOU SNEAKY SLYTHERIN!"
Severus smiled.
