It seemed like there would be a storm soon. Thunderclouds rolled ominously over the horizon, a sense of malice on the wind. Death could feel the darkness coming closer to this part of the world.
Many would die. It was inevitable and yet…he regretted it. While death wasn't something one could avoid… he wished it wouldn't come as a result of evil corrupting the world.
Hermione stepped next to Death.
"Evil is coming, isn't it?"
"Unfortunately. Are you ready?"
"Yes. Hogwarts, at least, will be defended."
"Good. I'll see you in the next life, Hermione."
She nodded her head, as the shadowy figure disappeared. Soon, it started to rain.
