Summary
Instead of taking his family into hiding and praying for the best, James made a different choice. Making a deal with the Dark Lord for his family's lives. Truthfully it wasn't as difficult of a choice as he had feared and worse yet, working for Voldemort wasn't as horrific or bloody as he expected. Of course, once he as became content with their lives, Lily takes Harry and vanishes. Leaving James to deal with the fall out.

Please note this is just an idea. I have no full story plotted out. I came up with the idea of James joining Voldemort and really really liked the whole situation and the idea of what the consequences could be so I started working on it. I'm posting it here for feedback. To see if others would like to read it or not and if they like the way its going. Anyways hope you enjoy.
