Diagon Alley

[The next scene, Marina and Sally are walking down the streets. Sally guides her niece, who is looking at the supply list.]

"...Cauldron and may bring, if they desire, either an owl, a cat, or a toad. I don't want a toad, but I would be okay with an owl or a cat. Though I've never thought of having an owl as a pet. Is it even legal to have an owl as a pet?" Marina tells her aunt.

Sally chuckles at her nieces little ramble, "We are part of a magic world, so yes, it's legal. Do you still dislike toads even if it's been years?"

"Yes."

"Yes." Marina answers with her on screen counterpart. Poseidon nods along, feeling the disgust for the animals that his daughter on screen feels.

"Hey!" Neville exclaims at his friend while he holds his toad, Trevor, in his arms.

"Sorry, Neville. I know Trevor's great." Marina placates her friend even if she still finds toads and frogs gross.

"Why do you not like them?" Rachel questions as she knows Marina is a pretty chill person and isn't really scared of much, and if she is, then she pushes forward.

Everyone else is wondering the same because Marina is a strong person and rarely ever shows her discomfort.

Marina starts to look embarrassed, "The last time I picked up a toad was at a park, and it peed all over me. I didn't want to drop it, so I kept moving it between my hands and arms, which got pee everywhere."

The room is completely silent before her friends start cracking and start a chain reaction of the entire room laughing at her. Her face warms in embarrassment, and she sinks in her tub.

Even Theo has chuckles escaping him at the image that was created, making Marina completely submerge herself in the tub to hide herself, in embarrassment.

After a few minutes of laughing, Theo notices his girlfriend is still completely submerged, which worries him.

"She's been under the water for a while." Theo states, which makes people look towards the girl. The wizarding people are worried that maybe she passed out, but the Greeks just sit relaxed.

"Shouldn't she come up for air?" A young first year student questions, worried about the girl who lived.

"No, she can breathe underwater, so she's fine." Thalia tells the worried students.

This shocks people, "Then why did she need gillyweed to breathe underwater for the second trial last year?" Neville questions confused.

This confuses the Greeks as they know that Marina can breathe underwater perfectly fine.

People look to see Marina's face poked above the water, looking around at people. They look to her for answers which makes her sigh as she sits up, "I didn't need the gillyweed last year but I decided to use it so nobody could find out about my abilities or heritage. The whole second trial was part of my dad's domain, so I managed with ease."

The wizarding people looked at her, shocked while the Greeks nodded at her explanation, seeing the logic in it.

The wizarding people are shocked that she didn't struggle during the second trial since the tournament was meant to challenge those who participated.

"You can't hate them forever, but we have arrived." Sally tells her niece, pointing to the store front.

[They walk towards a corner store, and as they get closer, the sign above it has "The Leaky Cauldron" magically appearing. They enter the Leaky Cauldron. There was music and several patrons that are speaking to each other. Marina is looking around curiously when they are both noticed near the bar.]

"Sally." A loud voice calls, gaining the attention of both Potter ladies. They look over to see a large man with a bushy beard.

"Hagrid, It's nice to see you. How are you?" Sally gives the half giant a friendly smile, having met him only a few times since their first meeting.

"Well, helpin' Dumbledore with somethin'." Hagrid tells the woman while Marina is surprised by the size of the man. "You 'ardly ever come 'ere." Hagrid knows that Sally never comes to England unless necessary.

"Marina got her letter, so I'm taking her to get her supplies." Sally tells the man, gesturing to her niece who stands next to her who is starting to look around again but looks back at the mention of her name.

People chuckle at the curiousness of the girl. Poseidon smiles, feeling the curiosity from his daughter.

Hagrid looks at the familiar girl, "I haven't seen you since you were a wee babe, Marina."

"Marina, this is Rubeus Hagrid. The Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. And Hagrid, you obviously know Marina."

"It's nice to meet you, Sir." Marina tells the man, craning her head up to meet the man's eye, and Hagrid shakes the girl's outstretched hand.

[Tom, the barkeep, brings over Hagrid's drink, looking at who the man is talking to, only to see a famous lightning bolt scar on the little girl's forehead.]

"Bless my soul. It's Marina Potter!" Tom shouts. The pub immediately goes silent, and everyone notices.

The wizarding people are shocked. The pub has never been that silent or even quiet at all.

"Praise Marina Potter for being the first to make the pub quiet!" The Weasley twins cheer and bow before Marina's tub, making people laugh at them while the Greeks and mortals are a little confused but are picking up that Marina completed a feat.

"Alright, you two." Marina tells the two, but they just give her cheeky smiles. "Go back to your seats, mischief makers."

She splashes the two with water when they wouldn't stop, which makes the redheads pause in shock for a moment at the sudden coldness before sharing a look, "She has blessed us!"

Their commentary makes the room bust out laughing for a little bit before everyone calms down and the twins are dry and back in their seats.

[A large group quickly walks over and surrounds Marina, separating her from her aunt, who is trying to push through the crowd. Marina looks around, trying to find her aunt's face as many people try to gain the girl's attention.]

Poseidon frowns, feeling his daughters fear and worry as she tries to find her aunt while being surrounded by strangers who are too close.

A man comes up, taking Marina's hand and shaking it. "Welcome back, Ms. Potter. Welcome back." Marina looks startled at the sudden touch.

People cringe at the sudden touch and fear and shock on the girl's face.

Poseidon jumps a little at his daughter's past emotions. He jumps a little, making those around him glance at the god to see he's uncomfortable.

A witch comes up and takes up Marina's other hand, shaking it as she introduces herself. "Doris Crockford, Ms. Potter. I can't believe I'm meeting you at last." Marina's head snaps towards the woman at the sudden grab of her other hand.

People are starting to feel uncomfortable watching the girls anxiousness, Poseidon shifts around in his seat, which makes more people glance at him. While the god glances at his daughter in the room who is sitting relaxed in the tub of water that he summoned for her.

[Hagrid makes his way through the crowd, with Sally quickly follows after him as they make their way to the center where Marina is. Sally takes in the confused and startled face of her niece, so she quickly pulls her niece against her, which startles her, but she quickly relaxes when she notices it's her aunt.]

Poseidon jumps a little before finally relaxing as his daughter relaxes once she's back with her aunt.

[A man in robes with a turban on his head appears. It is Professor Quirrell.]

At the sight of the man, Marina, Hermione, and Ron groan in annoyance. Which makes people glance at them but otherwise turn back to the screen.

"Marina P-potter. C-can't tell you how p-pleased I am to meet you." Quirrell speaks to the girl who eyes him, her instincts telling her something off about the stuttering man.

Poseidon scans the man on screen, suspicious as the man sets off Marina's instincts. While the Greek's immediately notice that the man's stutter is fake, which makes them suspicious of him.

"Hello, Professor. I didn't see you there. Marina, this is Professor Quirrell. He'll be yer Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts." Hagrid tells the girl who's continuing eyeing the man like she's trying to find the truth about him.

"He's the professor?!" The Greeks and mortals, including James, Lily, Sirius, and Remus shout, shocked that he's the professor.

The wizarding people nod, understanding why that's her reaction, especially after finding out what happened at the end of the year.

Marina glances at her parents, wondering how they will react to finding out that she kills the man on screen.

Marina glances back at her aunt, whose face is a little scrunched like she looks confused about the teacher.

Marina decides to play nice, "Nice to meet you, Sir." She puts out her hand, offering a handshake with Quirrell. But he looks at Marina's head and hesitatingly refuses. Her instincts flared up at the refusal.

Poseidon glares at the man on screen, knowing that he's bad news to be setting off Marina's instincts so much.

The Greeks and aurors all intently watch the man on screen, the aurors knowing the truth about the man.

"F-fearfully f-fascinating subject. N-not that you need it, e-eh, Potter? Heheh." Quirrell tells the girl who put her hand down after his refusal. However, his words confuse her.

"Why wouldn't she need it?" Artemis questions, not liking the man on screen near her cousin. The Greeks—except for Apollo, Hecate, and those from camp—are also confused by the man's statement, especially Poseidon, who has Marina's confusion adding to his own, making him feel very lost. James and Lily are also confused about why she wouldn't need to learn it.

"Because of what I'm known for in the wizarding world, which will be revealed very soon, so just wait." Marina reassures the Greeks and her parents. Her words settle them, for now.

Sally cuts in before more people can start talking, "I'm sorry, but we need to go if we want to get all her school supplies before the end of the day."

The crowd around them disperse, leaving just the aunt and niece. The two leave into a backroom winery in front of a brick wall.

"I'm sorry, Marina. I forgot to tell you about your fame status." Sally tells her niece, knowing she was uncomfortable with all the attention.

"But why am I famous, Aunt Sally? How do they know me?" Marina questions her aunt whose eyes are sad.

The Greeks lean in wanting to know as well, wondering why she's famous in that world as well. While James and Lily pay close attention to the screen, they want to know more about their daughter.

"I promise to tell you but later, okay? I want you to enjoy this trip and see all the magic." Sally tells her niece, who nods to her aunt's proposal.

The Greek's sit back in their seats, disappointed that they are being told yet. James groans, not wanting to wait while Sirius, Remus, and Sally avoid looking at them; not wanting to tell them about the story of their daughter.

Sally pulls out her wand, tapping the brick wall clockwise with it. The blocks then magically shift and open up to reveal a hidden, busy street called Diagon Alley. "Welcome to Diagon Alley, Marina."

Marina smiles, looking around at all the magic as they step into the street and walk down it. An owl screeches. "Here is where you can get all your magic stuff, from quills and ink to potion ingredients and even pets." Sally tells her niece, happy at the smile on the girls face.

Hecate smiles at the sight of her domain while the Greeks look at the screen in awe of different types of magic.

While all the witches and wizards reminisce their first time in the street as children.

James and Lily feel bittersweet that they weren't able to take their daughter to the street to get her supplies but happy that Sally was there for her and that they could at least watch it now.

Sirius and Sally hug James and Lily as they sit beside the two, squeezing the two between them, knowing that they are feeling upset.

[Marina is amazed as they pass by shops and owls and bats. The camera pans on a broom store, where a group of boys are crowded around a shiny broom.]

Athena and Annabeth perk up at the sight of owls.

"It's a world-class racing broom." One of the kids says to the others.

"Wow! Look at it! The new Nimbus 2000!" A boy says to the others.

"It's the fastest model yet." Another boy informs the others. [The camera pans to see the broom's model name on the handle]

James turns to Lily, "I want one." Lily just glances at the man, avoiding his eyes.

"No." Sally, Remus, and Sirius start laughing as James pleads with Lily.

Everyone watches as the man pleads with his wife for the broom, "Dad, that was my first broom." Marina tells her mortal dad to spare her mother from his pleading.

James snaps his head towards his daughter, "Can I ride it, please?" He starts pleading with Marina, who starts looking sheepish. Which makes people start laughing.

"You actually can't because it broke a few years ago, but I do have a Firebolt, which Sirius got me." Marina tells him, which makes him look a little upset at the news of it being broken but perks up at the sound of a new broom.

Lily gives Sirius a thankful smile while James crouches in front of Marina's tub as he pleads to try out her broom. Which she agrees to between laughs.

People around the room laugh at the man, pleading to his daughter, "Accio Firebolt!" Marina calls for her broom.

It comes zipping into the room, making people duck as she stands in her tub to grab it while putting away her wand.

She hands off the broom to James, who quickly gets on and starts flying around the room and yelling things, which makes people laugh at the man.
