Arrival
The great hall was bustling as everyone was eating, talking and having fun with their friends, ignoring the pink toad sitting at the teachers table.
All year, she has been making up stupid rules and not letting anyone practice defense magic. So, some of the students decided to create a club to teach themselves defense with Marina at the lead.
However, if they were found out, then the consequences would be dire.
Having just finished a meeting, everyone was enjoying their food, a little tense, but otherwise doing good. Sitting at the Gryffindor table sits the golden trio along with them sits a duo of snakes.
Hermione is telling Ron to slow down with his eating, Blaise is across from them, flirting with the girl next to him. Beside him sits Theo who has Marina quietly whispering in his ear, the Nott boy having a smirk on his face.
Unknown to everyone else, Marina is telling Theo what she overheard of the Weasley's prank plans on the Slytherins and what to watch out for.
Theo knows not to stop the pranks as they are always entertaining to both him and his friends, especially his beloved girlfriend, who has not enough to smile about lately.
He also doesn't want to prank the twins back for the Slytherins as he doesn't want to start a prank war.
The two slytherins at the lion table had already been told off by Umbitch, but they refused to move, wanting to sit with some of their friends.
The girl Blaise was chatting up moved a couple of seats away from the flirting boy with red cheeks. Clearly, Blaise was successful in his flirting.
Said boy looks back at his childhood friend to see him smirking with his girlfriend whispering in ear with eyes full of amusement. "What are you whispering about?" He asks the couple.
This causes the other two to look at the three, "Nothing to worry about Blaise." The couple both say with smiles that mean nothing but trouble.
However, before the Zabini boy can question the two, the doors to the great hall slam open, gaining everyone's attention.
There stands a large group of people. There stands Amelia Bones, the minister of magic; Cornelius Fudge, some aurors like Mad Eye Moody and Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, a black dog; Padfoot, the Malfoys, and the Weasley's.
Padfoot comes running to Marina as soon as he sees her, jumping and barking up a storm. She holds the dog and pets him, "Paddy, what are you doing here?"
Theo pets the dog a little bit smirking as the dog side eyes the slytherin teen, which makes the friends chuckle at the two males.
Dumbledore stands to greet everyone, "Hello, Welcome. What brings you to Hogwarts?"
"I'm unsure. We all suddenly appeared behind the doors." The others gave their agreements to what Amelia said.
"That's highly unusual. We didn't summon any of you." McGonagall expressed her confusion, which worries everyone.
There is a flash that fades to reveal a large group of unfamiliar people to everyone except one who has gone pale.
Seeing his girlfriend's pale, scared face, he pulls her close to his side, wrapping his arms around her. Looking at the group with a blank face and examining them, he misses Marina's scared look turn to a nervous one.
"What is the meaning of this?!" A booming voice shouts, making the thunder rumble and lightning show of the enchanted ceiling.
Sally recognizes the castle from pictures and how her cousin and his friends described it. She's wondering why they are there and where her niece is.
Looking around, she catches sight of the teen girl wrapped in her boyfriend's arms, which makes the woman happy that someone loves and cares about her.
Catching each other's eye, they share a worried look. Well, more like Sally's worried, and Marina looks nervous and scared.
Annabeth looks around the familiar place, "This is Hogwarts, School of witchcraft and wizardry."
Everyone looks at the blonde girl, "You know this place, daughter?" Athena wonders.
Nodding her head, "This is Marina's school. She's told us about it." Marina's friends join in the nodding even a reluctant Clarisse.
This causes students to start talking looking at the girl, "Marina, my girl. Can you come up here?"
She sits tense in her seat as Theo unwraps his arms from the girl. She looks at her boyfriend, who looks at her confused as do their other friends.
"I'll explain later if it's not explained for me." He nods with a soft smirk, which makes her relax and smile at him.
Just as she gets up, he gives her a kiss on the forehead, pushing the gray streak of hair behind her ear. There is faint squealing in the background from a certain love goddess.
She walks over to the group as everyone watches them. "Hey guys."
Grover gives her a hug followed by Annabeth and Rachel, Thalia pats the girl on the shoulder and Clarisse gives a nod and Nico gives a fist bump which Marina taught him when he visited her to talk to her during the summer.
Sally gives the girl a hug, "How are you?" Knowing what she really means, I just tell her it's good with a smile and nod, not wanting her to find out what's actually going on and worry her. Especially when she can't do anything.
Poseidon walks over to his daughter and brings her into a hug, "How are you, daughter?"
"I'm doing good pops." She squeezes him before letting go.
"My girl, who are these people?" Dumbledore asks.
However, before she can even open her mouth, there is a letter that appears in front of Professor McGonagall. She quickly scans for dark magic, which there is none. She begins reading.
"Dear people of Hogwarts, Greeks and Co.
We are the fates. We have brought you here to witness the story and life of Marina Potter, the chosen one and the savior.
The cost she paid for existing. Learn from your mistakes and make changes, or it will have dire consequences.
Marina, we wish you luck. You're going to need it."
After McGonagall finished speaking, there was a chilly silence in the room as everyone looked at a scared and pale Marina.
She was warned by the Fates and wished luck, everyone from Greek mythology and who knows about Greek mythology know the Fates are not to be trifled with.
The Greeks shared worried looks about the fates intervention. Just how bad things go for the girl.
"Shall we introduce ourselves?" A calm and kind voice speaks from the hearth goddess.
"Yes, please." McGonagall nods to the goddess.
"Hestia, Goddess of hearth, fire, home, and family."
This confuses the wizarding world. Everyone voices their confusion before the ground rumbles, which makes everyone quiet.
The Greeks, Sally, and Rachel look to Poseidon, who shakes his head with a proud smile, and then they turn their gaze to an angry demigod daughter of his. Marina stands with glowing eyes and an annoyed look.
They are shocked by her use of Poseidon earthshaker ability.
"Can you all be quiet so I can explain?" The room just nods, having never seen Marina's eyes glow.
She calms a bit, and the glowing is gone, but her face is still tense. "The Greek gods exist, and so does the entirety of Greek mythology. It will all be explained later, so just wait."
Theo is eyeing his girlfriend with a smirk on his face, liking when she shows her anger when it's not pointed towards him.
Blaise seeing his friend's face just shakes his head, having attempted to tease his friend for how his girlfriend is more powerful than him but the boy is just a simp for her and agreed that she's badass.
Hermione and Ron sit a little shocked, Marina has never shown her anger that strongly before.
"Zeus, King of Gods, God of lightning and thunder."
"Hera, Queen of gods, Goddess of marriage."
"Poseidon, King of the Sea, God of earthquakes, droughts, floods, and horses." People notice the similarities between the God and their chosen one, but don't say anything to both the already irate girl.
"Hades, King of the underworld, God of riches and the dead."
"Demeter, Goddess of harvest and agriculture."
"Aphrodite, Goddess of love and beauty."
"Athena, Goddess of reason, wisdom, and battle strategy."
"Artemis, Goddess of the hunt."
"Apollo, God of music, poetry, and archery."
"Ares, God of war."
"Dionysus, God of wine and madness."
"Hephaestus, God of fire and metal work."
"Hermes, God of travel, thieves, and communication.
"Hecate, Goddess of magic and the mist."
"Sally Jackson, Marina's aunt. I was James' cousin from America." People nod at the explanation, remembering that Fleamont Potter had a younger sister.
"Rachel Elizabeth Dare, I'm mortal, but I'm clear sighted, which basically means I can see the godly world unlike other mortals."
"Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena" Those who know about the mythology nod knowing the gods had a lot of children with mortals.
"Grover Underwood, a satyr." People look at his goat legs in shock.
"Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus."
"Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Ares."
"Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades."
"Chiron, trainer of heroes." People have seen centaurs in their world, so they aren't very surprised.
Marina takes a deep breath, "Marina Potter, daughter of Poseidon."
This confuses the entire wizarding world, except those who knew of James and Lily's meeting with Poseidon.
"My girl, your father is James Potter."
"Biologically, I'm Poseidon's daughter as his ichor is what formed me, but from what I've been told, James Potter blood adopted me, so I'm both their daughters." She just shrugs, not bothered by it.
A note pops up in front of Amelia Bones and she quickly reads before deciding it can be read out loud.
"Marina's life will be displayed through movies and books. The movies contain her life in the wizarding world, and the books contain her life in the Greek world."
"The stories consist of Marina Potter and the Philosopher's Stone." Marina remembers the ash on her fingers and the screams of her teacher.
"Marina Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Ginny flinches at the name while Marina rubs the spot on her arm, remembering the feeling of the poison.
"Marina Potter and the Lightning Thief." Ares glares at her and Zeus eyes Ares while grumbling about the theft.
"Marina Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban." Padfoot whines before joining Remus again.
"Marina Potter and the Sea of Monsters." Annabeth covers mouth at the reminder of Circe's Island while Marina pouts and crosses her arms.
"Marina Potter and the Goblet of Fire." The room chills at the reminder of the last tournament.
"Marina Potter and the Titan's Curse." Annabeth and Marina both touch the gray streaks in their hair. Nico looks at the ground and Hades looks away from anyone.
"Marina Potter and the Battle of the Labyrinth." Grover looks sad while the gods share nervous looks.
"Marina Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." The order shares looks while Marina rubs the back of her hand.
"Marina Potter and the Last Olympian." The Greeks share worried looks at the future mention.
"Marina Potter and the Half-Blood Prince." Snape snaps to attention.
"The Daughter of Neptune." The Roman name confuses the Greeks but looks to the only daughter of Poseidon.
"The Mark of Athena." The attention turns to the goddess.
"The House of Hades." The attention switches between Hades and Nico.
"The Blood of Olympus." This makes the Greeks worried.
"Marina Potter and the Deathly Hallows." This makes Dumbledore's eyes twinkle.
"Remember, learn from your mistakes. The Fates."
"I don't want to do this, but whatever. Let's just get this over with." Marina grumbles.
The room starts to shift, and benches become couches and a white fabric unrolls where the teachers table is. The room is becoming a theater.
Marina chooses a couch for herself, the demigods and satyr sit beside her, and Rachel follows them. Theo sits beside his girlfriend, followed by Blaise, Hermione, and Ron.
Theo wraps his arm around Marina's shoulders, pulling her into him, "Why did you never tell me? Or anyone?"
"Because knowing would get you killed, literally. The monsters know if you know, and they'll hunt you down." She holds his hand that's twisting a strand of her hair.
Annabeth leans over to look at Theo, which makes them both look at her, "You were right when you called your boyfriend a pretty boy."
Marina has pink cheeks but laughs at her friend.
"Pretty boy?" Theo smirks at his darling.
She just looks at him, smiling. For a moment, it's just them before they are interrupted again.
