conflict: *initial dislike, different life-paths, star-crossed (blood differences/race differences, family), being different (muslim), academic rivalry, secrets…

vague outline/paths:

- herbology class? - visiting each-other’s home for homework? raising a plant together? - 6th + 7th Yr

- patronus - duckling/swan? - Post-1

- takes place over 2/3 years? (6th - 1 yr post-graduation?)

- entanglement with marauders, point with mare to explore individuality, setting up a group for ramadan - 6th Yr

- making friends with year-mates, offering refuge to rex - include dorcas and caradoc (+ andy, dora and ted) as ones to provide home? - 6th + 7th Yr

- dirk has binge-restrict

sixth year plots:

- (something that disrupts their ‘perfect’ lives) - academic rivalry, shared detentions, begrudging respect (and a mystery they solve together - blood-purist bullying?)

- (filler, setting up friend group) - meeting with snake lot, friendship with rex, friendship with lily and mary and alice

- (something that disrupts strong images of eachother) - articles by daisy due to encouragement, leads to suspicions about dirk, mixed with ramadan plot-line (and family issues?)

inbetween:

- visiting each-other for herbology work, disapproval from parents but lack of care and lots of chivalry

seventh year plots:

- dirk is out of pic for a while due to blood-purist attack, returns guarded, meanwhile daisy makes closer mates with snake gang

- get rex outside of family to live with dorcadoc
