Chapter 18
Naruto was laying on his side in his nest. He was in wolf form and he hisses in pain when a contraction hits him. His mate Sasuke whines and licks his cheek trying to comfort his love. Naruto chirps in appreciation.
Tsunade was also with them but she was in secondary form and was only here to assist if necessary. They were at their house with everything set up for a home birth.
Naruto pants as his body prepares for the birth. Sasuke lays down next to him to cuddle him.
“Almost there my love, almost there” He says to Naruto
“You’re doing great Naruto” Tsunade says in encouragement.
Naruto chirps again. He can feel his body squeezing itself, and it hurt so much but he was also excited. They would get to meet their pups soon! They will be here with them after waiting for months!
A few hours pass and it was finally time for Naruto to push. Sasuke stands in front of Naruto, nuzzling his nose to Naruto’s to help comfort him.
Naruto pushes and out comes the first pup. The pup comes out in a sac. Once he was out, Naruto quickly licks the pup out of the sac. The pup lets out his first cry and immediately tries to suckle. Naruto scruffs him and puts it close to his belly so he can nurse.
Sasuke purrs and licks the pup. The couple look at each other.
“Kawaki” they both say
The first pup is named Kawaki.
Tsunade quickly comes over to do a quick check up on the pup. Kawaki is very healthy and has no problems latching on.
“Good job Naruto” Tsunade says as she pets Naruto. Naruto lets out a purr.
Sasuke lays down next to Naruto with Kawaki squished between them.
“Just one more, I can’t wait to see them together” Naruto tells his mate
Sasuke licks him again
“Me neither my love”
Half an hour passes and it seems the second pup still wasn’t ready to come out.
Naruto and Tsunade just watch as little Kawaki nurses and lets out little whines. Sasuke heads to the kitchen to bring some food for his mate. Naruto licks his pup
“Shhh it’s ok my little pup, your brother will be here soon” He says.
Sasuke comes back with some prey. He sets some rabbits he caught a day earlier in front of Naruto.
“Eat my dear, you need your strength” Sasuke says
Naruto nuzzles his cheek to his mate in thanks and starts to eat. They all enjoy this peacefulness for the time being.
After an hour, it was time for Naruto to push again. It was easier this time around and the second pup comes out quicker then Kawaki did. Naruto licks him out of the sac and the little one cries out. Naruto scruffs him and sets him next to Kawaki so he can nurse. As soon as he senses his brother, Kawaki lets out a coo and nuzzles close to him. Sasuke comes over to lick the second pup as well.
Naruto and Sasuke look at each other again.
“Boruto” they say
The second pup is named Boruto.
Tsunade comes again to check on little Boruto. He’s also healthy and immediately latches on to nurse.
Tsunade lets some tears escape
“Good job Naruto” she says again
Naruto and Sasuke also start to tear up as well.
The twin boys were finally here. Sasuke lays down next to his family to cuddle them. He nuzzles and licks his mate.
“I love you and our family so much my dear” Sasuke tells Naruto
“I love you and our family so much as well my love” Naruto says.
Tsunade smiles as she sees the sight of the happy family.
